Chapter 14 She should push him away

Chapter 14 She should push him away

The Maldives' starry sky was as dazzling as diamonds, and the faint sound of waves could be heard, but it couldn't drown out the rapid breathing in the room.

Yan Shuang was nestled in the pure white sheets, her black hair loose and her cheeks flushed.

She didn't know how much time had passed before she collapsed onto the bed, utterly exhausted.

It seems like everything should come to an end.

Shangqiu Zhu propped himself up. The initial loss of control and plunder had subsided, and the inexplicable restlessness that had been burning within him all night had dissipated with the exhilarating possession he had just experienced.

He should have gotten up.

However, when he tried to release the soft body in his arms, the delicate touch on his hands made him pause slightly.

She seemed to sense his intention to leave and moved slightly.

His breathing became heavy.

That desire, which I thought had been satisfied, suddenly reignited like wildfire in the wind, without warning.

He had never been so out of control.

But the warmth and delicacy of the woman in his arms were so perfectly suited to him, as if she were born to be nestled in his embrace.

The dam of reason is fragile and easily broken in the face of a more primal and turbulent impulse.

With an even deeper longing, he pressed himself against her again, embracing her even more tightly.

Shangqiu Zhu lowered her head and kissed her again, prolonging this unsatisfying night indefinitely.

Yan Shuang shook her head weakly, but he turned her over.

Next, it happened in the bathtub.

In the warm water, Shangqiu Zhu hugged her from behind and kissed her earlobe.

Yan Shuang leaned weakly against his chest, letting him do as he pleased.

The last time was on the carpet at four in the morning.

Yan Shuang was already half-conscious and could only vaguely feel Shang Qiuzhu carrying her back to bed.

...

Yan Shuang regained full consciousness an hour later. When she opened her eyes, a blinding halo appeared before her. She instinctively tried to raise her hand to shield her eyes, but found that her arm was being pressed down by something heavy.

She held her breath, bit her lower lip, and endured the soreness all over her body as she slowly moved out from under Shang Qiuzhu's arm.

She moved very quietly, afraid of waking the sleeping man.

The man suddenly uttered a mumbled incoherent murmur in his sleep, and Yan Shuang froze instantly.

She continued her actions only after her breathing became steady again.

Yan Shuang bit her lip and forced herself to sit up. The silk quilt slipped off, revealing the mottled marks on her skin.

Collarbone, chest, waist... everywhere are ambiguous red marks.

She carefully lifted a corner of the blanket, and the dark red stains on the sheets caused her a pang of pain.

The silk sheets rustled softly, each sound making her heart race.

Finally freed from her restraints, she stepped barefoot onto the cold floor and almost collapsed from her weak legs.

She looked around and saw Shangqiu Zhu's bathrobe and pajamas carelessly tossed on the carpet. The lace pajamas that were wrapped around her were torn beyond recognition, the shoulder straps were broken, and the thin fabric was crumpled into a ball, making them unwearable.

Yan Shuang frowned and noticed a paper bag on the sofa containing a brand-new dress, with even the underwear size being exactly the same.

It must have been prepared for her by Yan You in advance.

Shangqiu Zhu suddenly turned over, and Yan Shuang immediately squatted down, hiding herself in the shadows by the bed.

In the moonlight, she saw his handsome brows furrow slightly, but they quickly relaxed.

Only after confirming that he was fast asleep again did she dare to continue.

The process of getting dressed is like a silent battle.

She couldn't fasten the bra clasp no matter what she did; her hands were shaking terribly.

After finally getting everything ready, Yan Shuang picked up her high heels and walked barefoot towards the bedroom door.

She turned the doorknob and rushed out of the room filled with guilt without looking back.
