Chapter 91 A Place of Trouble
Yan Shuang lingered in the bathroom for a long time.
She really didn't want to go through the main entrance again, and facing the possibly still probing gazes, she gritted her teeth and quietly slipped out through the inconspicuous side emergency exit.

She waved her hand in refusal, "No need, Lao Zhan is already waiting for me at the school gate. I won't trouble you."
Lin Chengyu watched her subconscious act of drawing a line, remained silent for a few seconds, and did not force her. He simply gave a light "hmm" and then took a step to stand slightly ahead of her.
Seeing this, Yan Shuang didn't know what to say and could only grit her teeth and walk alongside him on the school path.
Students who had also left the banquet early or were strolling on campus recognized them and cast kind and envious glances their way.

When Yan Shuang heard these teasing remarks, she instinctively tried to explain that it wasn't true, but more and more people were making the teasing remarks, and she simply couldn't keep up with them.
She had no choice but to quicken her pace, almost jogging.

She spotted Lin Chengyu's car parked not far from the teaching building, and without thinking twice, she ran over as if fleeing, opened the car door, and jumped into the passenger seat.
"Could you take me to the school gate first? There are too many people here."

He remained calm, ignoring all the gasps and stares around him, and walked directly to the passenger seat of Lin Chengyu's car.
His gaze pierced through the glass and landed on Yan Shuang's face in the passenger seat.
The entire school gate seemed to be silenced. Everyone held their breath as they watched this sudden scene unfold, watching the man with an incredibly powerful aura stride towards the girl in the car.
Yan Shuang sat in the passenger seat, her mind blank.
The gasps and exclamations around me seemed to come from another distant world.
Shangqiu Zhu stopped outside the passenger door. He didn't speak, but his eyes, as cold as a deep pool, silently conveyed his final ultimatum.
Come down.
Yan Shuang trembled under his gaze and almost instinctively pressed the lock button on the car door.
"Don't go down!" Lin Chengyu suddenly reached out and pressed down on her cold, trembling hand.
He turned his head, his sharp gaze fixed on the demon-like man outside the car, showing no sign of backing down.
Lin Chengyu gripped her hand tightly. "Do you want to be controlled by him like this forever? Treat me as your real boyfriend, and right now, leave him completely!"
Yan Shuang stared at Lin Chengyu in astonishment, her mind a complete mess.
Outside the car, Shangqiu Zhu had completely lost patience.
Those few seconds of resistance and the obvious tug-of-war between the two people inside the car completely ignited the last trace of restraint in his eyes.
He suddenly raised his hand.
A dull, loud bang!
He bent his fingers and pounded them hard against the driver's side window.
Almost simultaneously, he roughly pulled open the car door with his other hand.
Shang Qiuzhu didn't even look at Lin Chengyu. He leaned in, unbuckled Yan Shuang's seatbelt, and grabbed Yan Shuang's upper arm with one hand.
Yan Shuang was intimidated by the coldness in his gaze, and her body reacted before her brain could process it.
She instinctively followed his force and was pulled out of the car by him.
Shangqiu Zhu didn't make any unnecessary movements; he simply held her arm firmly, cutting off any possibility of her backing down.
Throughout the entire process, he didn't glance at Lin Chengyu once, completely ignoring the existence of the other man.
Lin Chengyu was left sitting in the driver's seat, his hands still in the position of being freed, watching Yan Shuang being forcibly taken away, and slammed his fist hard on the steering wheel.
The horn emitted a piercing, long blare.
All the students watching were stunned into silence.
