Chapter 136 I'm Afraid

Xiang Yun took a deep breath, turned around and went into the restroom. He closed the stall door, opened his phone and searched for a classic horror movie clip, intending to bolster his courage before showing up at the theater.

"Holy crap! Dude, are you watching a horror movie in the bathroom? It scared me so much I almost broke my hand!"

The toilet became quiet, but eerily quiet.
The screams stopped, the movie screen gradually went black, and the sound of running water accompanied the screen lighting up as a toilet appeared...
Xiang Yun abruptly turned off his phone and cursed under his breath.
He was going to go crazy if he kept watching, before he even started watching the movie.

When they went through the ticket check, the theater lights were already off, with only the small green emergency lights at the entrance still on. Walking in from the lit area, it suddenly became dark, and they could hardly see the path under their feet.
Xiang Yun was walking ahead when a hand suddenly grabbed his wrist. He instantly remembered the horror scene he had watched in the bathroom and almost shook it off.

Xiang Yun's pounding heart finally calmed down. He counted the numbers on the steps and walked to the middle seat in the middle row, which was the best seat, right in front of the center of the screen.
They had just sat down when the movie started.
Xu Songning sat to Xiang Yun's right, with popcorn placed between them. Xu Songning leaned back in his chair, leisurely eating the popcorn.
The opening scene is light and bright, with ample lighting, so that you don't feel any fear.
Gradually, the light dimmed, the scene changed from daytime to night, and the surround sound in the theater became eerie.
There weren't many people at their event; there were only the two of them sitting in this row.
Xiang Yun was a little nervous, and when people are nervous, they want to eat something to calm their nerves.
He reached out to touch the popcorn, his hand brushing against Xu Songning's warm hand. The touch was brief. Xu Songning hugged the popcorn to his chest and pushed up the armrest between them.
