"Not pressing the elevator button?" The man stood with her in front of the elevator door.

My finger paused slightly before pressing the elevator button to go up.
One elevator was on the top floor, and another was parked on a middle floor; they came down quickly.

Inside the elevator, the red letters of each floor jumped up and down, and Xu Songning's heart pounded along with the floors.
As a notification sound rang, the thirteenth floor was reached, and the man left with his hands in his pockets.
Xu Songning quickly took out his phone and dialed the property management's 24-hour hotline.
"Beep beep beep..."
The dial tone pounded in her heart. She stood near the innermost level of the elevator, gripping her pepper spray tightly.
