Kuvayevich Antonov left the cause and effect of hiding this treasure on the back of the treasure map, so Yang Jing also knew that the amount of this treasure was not very large. The gold and other things were taken away by General Kolchak to attract the attention of the Red Army, and the more precious artworks were taken north by Antonov and hidden. Therefore, as early as after getting the treasure map of the last tsar drawn by Kuvayevich Antonov, Yang Jing realized that the treasures hidden in this treasure must be extraordinary, but he really didn't expect that these treasures were so precious.
Some antiques need to be salvaged and protected after being unearthed or taken out of water. Even if the treasures of the last tsar were not buried in the ground or left in a shipwreck for hundreds of years, they have been wrapped in oilcloth and heavy wooden boxes for more than a hundred years. If they are opened rashly, it will definitely cause irreversible damage to these treasures.
However, for rescue protection, special professional equipment is needed, such as argon chambers, nitrogen cabinets and other equipment, which are very necessary. With these equipment, antiques can be protected in these equipment to avoid excessive oxidation of antiques and thus best protect them.
But Yang Jing doesn't have these professional equipment at hand now.
But it doesn't matter, his storage space is even better than those professional equipment. Can those professional equipment compare to the storage space that is close to vacuum? Moreover, Yang Jing only needs one consciousness to control the antique in the storage space.
That's why Yang Jing didn't let anyone follow him into the cabin, because he needed to use the storage space to see what treasures were inside these big boxes.
Yang Jing first put a slender box nearly two meters high into the storage space, and then, with a thought, this tightly wrapped wooden box was completely opened in the storage space.
When the box was opened and the sculpture inside was revealed, Yang Jing's eyes almost popped out!
There are ten most recognized sculptures in the world today, and the most recognized statue ranked first is the marble sculpture called "David" created by Michelangelo Buonarroti, one of the three great masters of the European Renaissance in the early sixteenth century.
Even the Venus de Milo with broken arms, which is well-known to the Chinese people, ranks lower than this David in the Western art world.
The sculpture "David" is also called "David Body". Just by looking at the name, you can know what this sculpture is carved. Yes, this famous sculpture is a standing naked man.
"David" is based on the mythological story in the Old Testament. David is a character in the Bible who was the king of Israel from 1010 to 970 BC. During his reign, he overthrew the rule of the foreign Philistines and unified Israel. This hero had a wonderful and moving story when he was young.
At that time, King Saul of Israel was in power, and the Philistines invaded Israel. Among the Philistines, there was a warrior named Goliath, who was eight feet tall, wearing a helmet and armor, and had great strength. He was invincible on the battlefield, and the Israelites suffered countless casualties. Goliath fought for more than 40 days, and the Israelites dared not fight. Even David's three brothers went to the front to fight, and David, who was too young to participate in the battle, went to the front to deliver food to his brothers.
When David arrived at the front line, he saw the enemy giant Goliath rushing up, and the Israelites could not resist. At this time, David was filled with anger and asked to go to war to avenge the shame of the nation. King Saul saw that David was very confident and gave him his armor. David refused the armor and still dressed as a shepherd boy. He led the people to the battlefield and cursed Goliath loudly. When Goliath was dizzy from being scolded, David threw a stone from a slingshot and knocked Goliath unconscious. David rushed forward, drew out a sharp blade and cut off Goliath's head, saving Israel. From then on, the young David became a nationally famous hero.
When Michelangelo created "David", he did not follow the scene of his predecessors showing David defeating his enemy and stepping on his enemy's head, but instead chose to depict David preparing for battle.
In fact, the creation of "David" began before Michelangelo was born. At that time, the Inspector of the Office of Works of the Florence Cathedral intended to commission a sculptor to create a series of twelve large "Old Testament" statues to be placed on the buttresses of the Cathedral of Santa Maria della Signoria.
The first two sculptures, terracotta statues of Joshua and Hercules, were completed in the early fifteenth century. Later, the famous sculptor Agostino prepared to make "David" and found a suitable piece of marble from a quarry in Carrara. However, Agostino only completed the preliminary creation of "David", that is, completing the general shape of the legs, feet and torso.
Agostino did not continue the work for other reasons, so the marble was forgotten for 25 years. It was not until 1601 that Michelangelo, who was only 26 years old, took over the marble and continued to work on it.
It took Michelangelo two and a half years to finally complete the carving of the marble, which eventually formed the now world-famous "David" sculpture.
It can be said that this sculpture went through the hands of two sculptors from beginning to completion, and it took a full forty years!
Perhaps it was because of the many changes it had gone through that the statue finally became a world-famous sculpture. Michelangelo also became the most famous sculptor in the Western world at that time with this sculpture, and was eventually named "one of the three great sculptors of the post-Renaissance" by the Western art world.
