Chapter 580: Shipwreck

During World War II, the Japanese did not stop plundering materials in Southeast Asia and even Guinea. From crude oil to iron ore to various precious metals, the Japanese were like locusts passing through the border, plundering whatever they caught and digging deep into the ground.

But at the same time, Japan's actions are well known, so major salvage companies around the world attach great importance to Japanese shipwrecks during World War II, especially transport ships.

This ship was definitely sunk during World War II. It has been sunk for more than 70 years. Moreover, this is not a deep water area. The depth of the shipwreck is only about 60 to 70 meters. It is estimated that this ship has been looted countless times.

But why is there still precious light appearing on this ship?

Yang Jing didn't believe it and used his eye skill again, and found that there was indeed a faint light of precious light.

However, judging from the location where the precious light was emanating from, it was not on the bridge or the deck cabin, but in the ballast tank at the bottom of the ship.

This discovery made Yang Jing a little interested. Obviously, this transport ship might have been preparing to come to Lorengao, or it might have just left Lorengao, but no matter what, the ship did not successfully reach its destination, but was sunk by enemy aircraft.

And since there is precious light shining through, it means that the ship is carrying something very valuable.

Yang Jing looked at the instrument on the compressed air bottle and found that more than half of the compressed air in the bottle had been used up. It could only last for about twenty minutes at most, so he thought about it and floated directly to the surface of the sea.

Although he had storage space, Yang Jing did not have the special ability to breathe underwater, and he had never changed the compressed air cylinder underwater, so he could only float to the sea surface to change the compressed air cylinder.

The open-bow sports boat was parked on the sea level not far away, and there was no shadow of a soul around it. Yang Jing stepped on the water and took out a full bottle of compressed air from the storage space. After replacing it, he pulled out a deep-diving lithium-ion lamp, put it on his head, and dived into the water, swimming quickly towards the sunken ship below.

This time, Yang Jing did not stay outside, but swam directly into the big hole that was blown open in the bow of the ship.

Shipwrecks have always been the home of all kinds of marine life, especially marine organisms. Yang Jing had just gone in a little bit when the big squids, octopuses and other fish were frightened and ran around in panic. The squids that could release "ink" continuously expelled a lot of black juice, making it impossible to see anything around.

Squids, some octopuses and fish like to parasitize in shipwrecks. When Yang Jing entered, it was like throwing a stone into a dry toilet in the hottest days of summer. All the fish fled everywhere like green bean flies.

Yang Jing had no idea about this, but fortunately his skill allowed him to see the precious light through the sea water that was dyed black by "ink", which allowed Yang Jing to slowly grope his way into the interior of the transport ship.

Once inside the ship, there were fewer squids and octopuses. For fish, the interior of a shipwreck is a veritable maze. Even though they were born and raised here, if they dared to enter the ship, they would be lost and unable to find a way out, and eventually starve to death.

Therefore, there are few fish species inside some relatively well-preserved shipwrecks.

Because Yang Jing swam in from the broken part of the bow, he didn't need to start from the deck to find the way down. He just had to swim forward along the lowest cabin and he would reach the position where the precious light was emitted near the stern.

The ballast tank of the "Daiichi Xinxing Maru" was not blown up in the explosion, so Yang Jing could not directly enter the ballast tank on the bottom floor, and could only find the entrance to the ballast tank from the upper cabin.

After swimming about 40 meters along the bottom cabin, Yang Jing suddenly felt that there was no fish around him. Although there were few fish living inside the cabin, there were still some.

But that's how it is here. As I swam along, I couldn't see a single fish.

This situation immediately made Yang Jing feel nervous.

"Are there any large carnivorous fish living around here? Otherwise, why don't those fish appear here? But how can large carnivorous fish survive in such a narrow cabin? Oh my god!"

The first part was what Yang Jing was thinking in his mind, but the last four words were cursed directly out of his mouth. A series of bubbles immediately came out of his mouth, choking him.
