Chapter 384: Attacked from both sides

Chapter 384: Attacked from both sides

"I'm pleased to report the latest battle situation to all citizens. Five minutes ago, the terrorists crossed the border of the Third Pulse and fled to the Fifth Pulse. This hasty and foolish move undoubtedly demonstrates the enemy's confusion and bewilderment!"

The female anchor, Landa, smiled sweetly. "Mr. Kosaburo, you must have heard the latest news, right? Our Divine Guards must have accomplished something."

"That's right. Although it's not visible on the surface, the two terrorists' bodies have suffered quite serious damage. According to the Divine Guards on the scene, they have even lost the ability to speak due to their severe injuries!"

"As expected of our well-trained Jingsha First Divine Guards, it seems even enthusiastic citizens have a chance of taking down terrorists."

The male and female anchors simultaneously reached out to the screen: "The enemy is in the fifth meridian. Good citizens of the amusement park, please seize the opportunity! If you have any information about the third terrorist, Ji Huaisu, please feel free to call our 24-hour hotline!"

The faces of the two people turned into charred holes, and the fireworks pierced through the screen and rushed into the sky, turning into a flashing middle finger pattern under the night sky.

Beneath the dazzling light, the ground was covered in blood and body parts. The killer, who had lost half his head, howled miserably: "Isn't there a flaw? Use the ghost body to attack!!"

"There's a fucking flaw!" the team's deputy wailed as he hung on the pirate ship. "The wizard's head exploded into a melon the moment he swung out the Mind Piercing!"

Bullets were flying among the balloons, artillery fire was roaring under the fireworks, and the party atmosphere was extremely warm. Feiyan Amusement Park, which had been deserted for a long time since the announcement of the bill, held its grand opening tonight.

The armored luxury car sped through the center of the avenue, and numerous puppets and staff members bowed and lined the streets in welcome. The pursuers behind were gently dissuaded by the staff, who greeted them with smiles: "This is Feiyan Amusement Park, please refrain from violence."

"Chasing terrorists, you bastards! Team Five is trying to rebel?!"

"Disputes in the amusement park can only be resolved through games. What would you like to play tonight?"

"I'm gonna play with you—"

Several rays of light descended, transforming the rude killers into terrified cards. Mr. Gray and Mr. Blue flew around in their small flying saucers, each offering a thoughtful warning: "If you don't want to play, get out!"

"I say you are being too rude. At least use more polite words."

"Then, how about asking all visitors who haven't purchased tickets to leave the amusement park in an orderly manner?"

"It's so troublesome, just tell me to get lost."

"The result is still the same."

While Mr. Gray was bickering, he didn't forget to shout to the retreating killer, "Sorry, the enemy has used strange tactics, and the captain is physically unable to attack. Team Five can only help you up to this point!"

"That's more than enough, thank you." Chu Hengkong greeted.

The Cadillac had been converted into a convertible for ease of operation. Chu Hengkong was eating a bucket of popcorn he had snatched, and while driving, he said, "How about trying a few rides to make up for your regret of never having been to the amusement park?"

Velvet sighed, "No, thank you. My father took me there when I was a kid."

"But I haven't taken you there."

"You have no interest in the amusement park at all. You just want me to take a picture next to the life-size doll and then laugh at me."

Chu Hengkong spread his hands: "Although I do think so, you can definitely take a picture. Don't you think that 2-meter-tall Gubo tribe suit is very attractive?"

“No. Drive your car,” Velvet said. “I’m more concerned about whether your partner will take action in time.”

"He will definitely do that. He's a beast who will do anything for an opportunity. It won't be long before we get good news." Chu Hengkong glanced at the rearview mirror. "I hope he moves quickly."

Bursts of ferocious roars were heard, and Chu Hengkong saw groups of strange beasts in the rearview mirror. Their auras were all above level 4. A single one of them was enough to become a formidable enemy for ordinary Divine Guards. They were now forming an army formation and attacking.

A man with blond hair and a golden beard sat on the back of a giant lion, his ferocious face even more terrifying than the beasts themselves. The members of Team Five hesitated above, not wanting to attack, as the man had put colorful clown hats on each of the beasts!

"Long time no see, you bitch couple. Come and see the circus show!" the blond man roared arrogantly.

"Looks like someone has learned to exploit loopholes." Chu Hengkong leaned over and shouted, "Um... Sorry, I forgot your name again. Who are you?"

The blond man's arrogant performance suddenly turned into a real roar: "Remember this, I am the number 13 Golden Lion! I will crush your power and tear your mouth apart! Avenge my beloved son's arrow!!!"

Chu Hengkong nodded: "Boss, how did we become enemies with him?"

"Do you remember that time when our plane crashed and we had to make an emergency landing in the snowy mountains?"

"I have some impression."

"You hunted a bear for lunch," Velvet said. "We later learned it was his pet."

"Honestly, this isn't my fault, is it? As soon as I got out of the plane, a bear pounced on me and tried to eat me. If I didn't kill him, would I let him take a bite? Besides, you were the one who dealt with the bear in the end."

"I warned you that bear had a collar."

"What's the point of giving you a warning when it's already ripe?"

The golden lion's eyes were bloodshot: "Shut up! You two bitches, I will make you feel the pain I felt back then!!"

The golden lion leaped from its back, its hands transformed into giant golden claws, slashing out with overlapping cross claws. Chu Hengkong jumped out of the car and kicked out, his strong willpower breaking the giant claws on the spot, and the broken long claws flew in the air.

He grabbed the long claw and threw it casually, piercing the golden lion's abdomen and nailing it to the top of the circus tent. The golden lion stared at the fireworks in the sky with his big eyes and heard the killer's long laughter in the distance.

"I'll say this one last time. You should consider retiring and opening a pet store!"

Numbers 17 and 18 arrived shortly after, grabbing him and attempting to chase him. The Golden Lion waved his hands tremblingly, "I...I've decided to let go of the grudge. You guys go..."

"Fuck you, aren't you a golden lion? Can you act a little more like a lion?!"

The golden lion was still in shock: "From today on, my name will be Kitten."

He had been preparing for this surprise attack since he arrived in Jingsha, and spent a full month honing his strongest attack. He thought he would be able to break the opponent's edge no matter what, but in the end, it was still no match for the snake's kick to the dog.

What the hell is this? These two bastards are countless times stronger than they were on Earth. Aside from the top seven in the entire Blood Alliance, no one is worthy enough to be their opponent!

·

"Please send out the assassins before No. 7," Pariman said. "The people you've sent out now won't even be able to delay the game."

Wang Quan smiled slyly in the communication channel: "I'm sorry, Mr. Speaker, I have emphasized this before, but they are not very happy about it."

"What did you say?"

"You can listen to the opinions of the most rational representatives on our side."

The speaker changed, and it was Guo Yutu's listless voice: "I'm sorry, Speaker Parriman, but we have no interest in the suppressed Sacrifice Serpent."

Parriman felt his emotions surge for the first time in a long time. "You are killers."

“But we also have professional ethics.”

"Without the suppression of the sacred tree, you guys would not be Chu Hengkong's opponents at all."

"Since you've said that, why bother asking us to do the work?" Guo Yutu smiled hypocritically. "I'd also like to tell you, idiot, that I'd like to cancel the order. I don't want to do this shitty job anymore."

"That's enough. Let the king speak to me."

Wang Quan's fake laugh was heard immediately: "Oh, Mr. Speaker, I'm so sorry. Xiao Guo is young and has no manners! But he does have some truth. Since you have chosen the Blood Alliance, why don't you trust us?"

"I didn't hold you responsible for contacting Chu Hengkong without permission—"

"You have no right or ability to do anything to me." Wang Quan chuckled, "If you want a killer, follow the rules. Otherwise, I'll take care of it myself."

The communication was unilaterally cut off, and Parriman leaned on the table with his eyes closed.

This was different from politics, and different from the carefully planned attacks before. When the contest between the two sides returned to the purest level of power, most of his tactics lost their meaning. The Divine Guards followed orders but not instructions. The weaker ones he could exploit would be no match for those few men. The Blood Alliance assassins were actually minions of the royal power.

The biggest card in his hand is the Jingsha Sacred Tree, but the tree is now the problem...

Deep in Mansa Star Castle, at the Thorns Sanatorium, all the flowers, plants, birds, and animals covered their eyes, unable to bear to look. Xiaohua looked distressed: "Take it easy!"

"We want sanctions." "No sanctions!" "Give us the authority." "Don't even think about it!"

Old Jingsha covered his head and yelled, uttering contradictory words one after another, like a psychopath. One of his hands tried to grab the crown of thorns, a symbol of authority, while the other hand smashed it down.

The hand that had been knocked off immediately grabbed Jingsha's neck. The old man roared and punched himself in the face: "We will never tolerate such brutality! Remove your oppression!"

Another punch hit Jingsha's cheek: "The order has been given!"

Xiaohua looked at the man who was beating her and quickly sent out a call for help: "Captain, please come quickly, he's started again."

Captain Banningtik arrived within seconds and tightly grasped Old Jingsha's hand: "Master Jingsha, please hold on! Fight with yourself a little longer!"

Old Jingsha almost rolled his eyes: "We called you here to temporarily solve the problem..."

Beningtik said sincerely, "Lord Shenshu, if I had nothing else to do, I would probably be sent to join the hunt."

Old Jingsha took a deep breath, gathered his newly strengthened fist, and punched himself in the face: "Ah!"

·

"Mr. Speaker, the captain has reported that the Jingsha Sacred Tree is in critical condition. He is currently involved in the emergency treatment of the sacred tree..."

"I understand. Retreat," Pariman said methodically. "Inform the media to exaggerate the terrorists' injuries. Have Team 4 mobilize the war plants to deploy defenses ahead of time. Inform all Divine Guards that anyone who obstructs the encirclement will be considered an accomplice of the terrorists and will be arrested and detained on the spot. The Divine Tree will support all our actions, for this is its divine will."

The Speaker's secretary nodded repeatedly, his face pale: "Speaker, are we..."

"There is no civil war in Jingsha City-State," he interrupted his secretary. "Some Divine Guard captains have been deceived by the terrorists, and this is precisely why we cannot allow them to continue their actions. Now, prepare yourself. I will hold my second speech to the people in five minutes."

"Yes, Speaker!"

The secretary hurried away, once again filled with pride because of the few words they exchanged. Parriman sat quietly at his desk, suddenly covering his mouth and coughing violently.

He coughed painfully, as if he was vomiting his internal organs. However, there was no blood on his gloves; he only coughed up a translucent, foul-smelling liquid.

He took off his gloves and threw them away, revealing his hands. They were completely inconsistent with his age, withered hands like those of a dying person.

"It doesn't matter. Trust me," Pariman said to himself. "I will definitely carry out your will, so you must trust me."

As if something invisible spoke to him, Parriman regained his composure. He carefully dried the corners of his mouth and put on a new pair of gloves, concealing the discordant signs of decay. In the blink of an eye, the elegant politician was back.

As Perriman left his office, every member of the council saluted him. Their minds, hearts, and wills hung on the role of Chancellor, whose every move could literally affect the entire city-state.

It doesn't matter, Parriman thought. The chaos within the city-state, the captain's opinions, none of that mattered. He just wanted independence, the Thorn Tree to leave the secret realm, no matter the cost.

Now that the independent program had begun to operate, this was why Old Jingsha was willing to sacrifice himself to stop him. After the Great Lily was activated, the Jingsha city-state had the conditions for physical independence.

His remaining task was only to wait for an opportunity and buy a little time. Since Wang Quan intended to reap the benefits, he would use the backup plan.

Perriman picked up the communicator again. "Fruidan Tanner Malikvis."

Purple smoke spread from the communicator, and the old devil's laughter flowed out: "Don't you want to reconsider it? Have you really decided to join forces with a demon like me, Mr. Speaker?"

"Help me clear the city of enemies. After your transformation is successful, I'll grant you one-third of the Destiny Power you gain." Pariman said simply. "This is a temporary contract. The tide is your witness."

The old demon's tone suddenly changed, and he said seriously, "The contract is established."

The purple smoke dissipated from the House of Lords, surfacing within a sealed chamber. The wolf-headed, humanoid man clapped his hands softly, and every demon within Thorns City raised his head simultaneously. The Chaos God's will was transmitted directly into their very being, forcing even the weakest demon to make a decision at that moment.

Join the wolf pack, or support the allies.

After issuing the order, Fulidan stopped paying attention to the demons and nodded, looking towards the center of the chamber. There sat a man, bound tightly by countless bandage-like seals.

"The time for revenge has come, my contractor."

The bandage was stained darkly by the dirty blood, and a roar that was not like a human voice was heard.

“Chu… Hengkong…!”
