After asking the front desk, Feng Jinchen went straight to the private room on the second floor and knocked on the door.

Feng Jinchen was dumbfounded when he saw the woman sitting on the toilet. His face was full of anger, and the corners of his mouth twitched rhythmically.
After tidying up, Liu Yufeng came out and began to complain incessantly, turning the tables on her husband. Finally, she said harshly, "This vicious woman who beats her husband and mother-in-law, our Feng family temple is too small to contain such a big Buddha. Jinchen, divorce her, make her leave with nothing, and get out of here."
Feng Jinchen's face remained expressionless. After listening to Liu Yufeng's words, he only asked a single question.
"You slapped Xixi on the face?"
Liu Yufeng looked incredulous. "Jinchen, didn't you hear that? She splashed water all over your mother."
"So, you did it?"
Feng Jinchen looked at Liu Yufeng and spoke slowly and deliberately.
Liu Yufeng's face turned pale, her chest heaving violently. She suddenly sneered at Su Xi, "You've even learned to whisper sweet nothings in my ear, huh? Trying to drive a wedge between us, mother and son, what are you up to?"
"Mom, she didn't say anything." Feng Jinchen rubbed his temples wearily. "My wife, no one can lay a finger on her, not even you."
Liu Yufeng felt dizzy and fainted. "Fine, fine, fine. If she does anything outrageous in the future, don't blame me for not warning you." With that, she slammed the door and left.
"Xixi, I'm sorry. My mom is old, please don't take it to heart."
The man reached out to take her hand, but Su Xi dodged it.
Feng Jinchen was deeply hurt. He sighed softly, his eyes shattering, his melancholy turning into a pool of broken diamonds.
"It seems like you're here to catch someone cheating?" Su Xi said with a smile, but the smile didn't reach her eyes.
Feng Jinchen's eyes flickered slightly.
"No, I just happened to be passing by."
Su Xi pouted. Luckily, her uncle had to leave first, otherwise he would have used this as an excuse to make a fuss.
Just then, the waiter knocked on the door and came in, bringing boiled eggs.
Feng Jinchen took off his suit jacket and draped it over the back of the chair. He casually rolled up his shirt sleeves, and his hands, which had never done any housework, began to peel eggs earnestly yet clumsily.
The first one was broken into pieces before the second one could be considered whole.
"Xixi, roll a hot egg over it, it'll help reduce the swelling." Feng Jinchen pulled up a chair and came very close.
Su Xi felt as if she were sitting in his lap.
The man reached out his hand, but Su Xi leaned back and said, "I can do it myself."
"No, I'm your husband, your man, this is what I should do."
Su Xi knew she couldn't refuse, so she remained silent.
Feng Jinchen gently rolled the egg on Su Xi's cheek, his heart aching as he looked at the redness and swelling on her fair face. "Is my mother going through menopause? How dare she hit you?"
Su Xi glanced at him. "You think this is the first time?"
Su Xi had lost count of how many times she had been slapped. She had endured it all for Feng Jinchen's sake. It would never happen again.
Feng Jinchen felt even more guilty. "I didn't know."
"You know that. Not to mention your mother, you also know very well how your sister treats me, don't you?"
The man paused. He knew for a moment that his mother and sister disliked Su Xi and had spoken ill of her to his face on several occasions. As for what they did in private, he had never thought about it in detail.
"Xixi, I promise I will never do it again."
Feng Jinchen was very patient and used six or seven eggs in a row, and the bruises on his face finally subsided by more than half.

"Xixi, what should we buy for Luochen?" Feng Jinchen glanced at Su Xi while driving, only to find that the woman had already fallen asleep.
Su Xi's sleeping face is beautiful. Three years have passed, and she hasn't changed at all. She remains as serene and pure as a blank sheet of paper.
She is his, and can only be his; he will never let her go.
When they arrived at the hospital parking lot and parked the car, Su Xi was still unconscious.
Feng Jinchen gently tucked a strand of the woman's hair behind her ear, leaned over, almost pressing his entire body against Su Xi's, and reached down to recline the chair.
The chair reclined slowly, but Su Xi still woke up. Seeing Feng Jinchen on top of her, she instinctively covered her chest, looking very wary.
The man's eyes dimmed instantly. He touched his nose, sat up straight, and said, "I'm sorry, I just wanted you to sleep more comfortably. I didn't mean to wake you up."
Su Xi looked outside; they had arrived so quickly.
She's been feeling a bit tired lately, probably because her pregnancy symptoms are starting to appear.
Feng Jinchen's gaze fell on Su Xi's empty wrist. "Xi Xi, don't you like the bracelet? Why aren't you wearing it?"
Su Xi glanced at the man and said indifferently, "I don't want people to say I'm pretending to be young."
Feng Jinchen's gentle and handsome face instantly cracked, and his brows furrowed deeply. He had heard what Feng Qinyue said that day, but he was too lazy to say anything.
He picked up his phone and dialed a number directly.
The call was connected quickly.
"elder brother?"
The man's voice was icy, "Qinyue, Su Xi is my wife, your sister-in-law. From now on, when you see him, you should see me. Don't act like a child anymore."
There was a moment of stunned silence on the other end, then Feng Qinyue's exasperated voice came through, "Did she tell on me? She..."
"Feng Qinyue, I could turn a blind eye before, but if you continue like this, don't blame me for disregarding our sibling relationship."
Seeing the call end, Feng Qinyue angrily smashed her phone.
The moment the man hung up the phone and looked at the woman, his expression was one of grievance and self-reproach.
"Xixi, when do you have time? I'll take you shopping. Pick whatever you like."
Su Xi lowered her eyes, and the man saw the woman's bare fingers. He grasped her hand with his warm palm and said, "You're missing a diamond ring. Wife, your hands are so beautiful."
Feng Jinchen stroked Su Xi's hand, his gaze towards the woman growing increasingly deep.
