Chapter 100 Being Played by Su Xi
With a sudden stop, Feng Jue turned to shield Su Xi, but his back bumped into the back of the seat in front of him.
"Mr. Feng... Mr. Feng, please don't stop, I have no choice."
Liu Cheng's voice was panicked, and his brows furrowed. If a child hadn't suddenly appeared out of the room, forcing him to concentrate fully, an accident would have definitely occurred.
Feng Jinchen is really not a normal person; he's practically insane.
Are you alright?
Su Xi shook her head.
Feng Jue got out of the car and turned to grab the woman's wrist, but Su Xi dodged him.
"Uncle, where are you taking my wife? To brazenly take my niece-in-law is utterly despicable."
Seeing Su Xi get out of the car, Feng Jinchen's anger intensified. "Su Xi, what have I done to wrong you? We're not even divorced yet, and you're already seen with other men. Do you think I'm dead? Are you really that impatient?"
The man's expression grew increasingly ferocious, veins bulging on his forehead, and he reached out to grab the woman.
Feng Jue stepped aside to block him, his expression indifferent. "She is not your possession, and there are more than just the two of us in the car. You..."
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Su Xi slip away from his protective circle and stand behind Feng Jinchen. The man's voice abruptly stopped.
Stared at by a deep, icy gaze, Su Xi lowered her eyes. "Uncle, we're not divorced yet."
Seeing that Su Xi seemed to have been forced, Feng Jinchen felt much better. He immediately pulled the woman behind him, straightening his back ramrod straight.
"Uncle, what's the difference between what you're doing and forcibly taking a woman from the countryside?"
The man's pupils trembled slightly, his hands clenched involuntarily, and his sharp, peach-blossom eyes stared straight at Su Xi, while the woman dared not meet his gaze.
He looked at Feng Jinchen and said, "Get out of the way!"
Feng Jinchen had never seen his uncle's face so cold before; it was so cold that the hairs on his body stood on end instantly.
But behind him was his wife; if he stepped aside, wouldn't he be ridiculed by the whole world?
Feng Jinchen said confidently, though his tone was fierce, "Uncle, there's no such logic in the world. If Grandpa and Grandma knew, they wouldn't..."
"Threatening me?" The man interrupted him sharply, clearly having run out of patience. "I just have questions for her, not to sleep with her. She's not qualified. And you, deal with the woman who caused the death outside before you come and question me."
After saying that, she shoved Feng Jinchen aside, grabbed Su Xi's wrist, and headed towards the luxury car.
Su Xi had no chance to resist. The man's cold aura made her heart tremble, and she dared not provoke this demon.
Feng Jinchen stumbled, narrowly avoiding a fatal fall, but after regaining his balance, he rushed over immediately, calling out, "Xixi—"
The seal, as a backdrop, seems to be the demon that separated the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl.
The man's aura grew even colder. He turned and glared at the man rushing towards him, then pulled open the car door, shoved the woman inside, and kicked the man in the chest.
Seeing Feng Jinchen fall to the ground, Su Xi covered her mouth in shock. The next second, Feng Jue got into the car, his cold and handsome face close to hers, making Su Xi's heart almost stop.
Liu Cheng was completely stunned by this sudden turn of events. Before he could even close his mouth, he immediately started the car and drove away.
After getting up from the ground, Feng Jinchen took off chasing after the luxury car with his long legs, but it disappeared in the blink of an eye.
The man was panting heavily, his face extremely pale, and he ripped off his tie and threw it to the ground.
He took out his phone and called Su Xi.
Inside the car, Feng Jue saw the incoming call number on the woman's phone, snatched the phone, and immediately silenced it.
A chilling atmosphere hung over the car. Liu Cheng drove nervously, not daring to ask where they were going.
Knowing that his boss had something to say to Miss Su, he drove to the secluded pier.
"parking."
Liu Cheng quickly pulled over and parked the car.
Without a word, Feng Jue pulled Su Xi out of the car and pinned her against a pillar. "Su Xi, what exactly do you mean? Are you still hung up on that man?"
Su Xi shook her head, her expression calm. "Uncle, what was it you were about to say?"
The man's eyes flickered slightly. "I can't interfere with how much property you get in your divorce case. If you need money, just send me a message. Money is the last thing I need. But I can still guarantee that you will get a successful divorce."
At this point, the man suddenly chuckled, "You don't seem to want to leave that man now?"
"That's all?" Su Xi asked instinctively. "Isn't it about Luo Chen?"
Seeing the woman's surprised and relieved expression, Feng Jue's pupils constricted slightly, and in a flash, he understood the key to the matter.
The man's handsome, peach-blossom eyes held disbelief and self-mockery. "You think I can't protect Luo Chen, so you distanced yourself from me, and that's why you stood by that man's side to fight against me?"
Su Xi's pupils contracted sharply, and she lowered her eyes, not daring to look into the man's eyes.
The woman's expression said it all.
"You're really quite clear-headed." So clear-headed it's heartbreaking.
The man's voice hardened as he grabbed the woman's chin and lifted her face, demanding, "Don't you have a heart?"
No.
"Is it possible for you to protect Luo Chen if any man can do it?"
“No…” Su Xi shook her head.
At first, she felt guilty and ashamed, but now her face was filled with anger. How could this man insult her like that?
Feng Jue chuckled and drew closer. He thought he was the hunter, but he never expected that he was the prey being played with by the woman.
Suddenly, a carefree, playful smile appeared on the man's handsome face. "Right now, I'm wondering, will you give it to me or not?"
Su Xi's body stiffened to the point of numbness, a feeling of humiliation washing over her, but she did not avoid the man's lips pressing down on hers.
Suddenly, a wave of nausea from pregnancy washed over me.
She placed her palm against the man's chest, but couldn't push him away at all; she could only turn her head and vomit.
Seeing that the woman had vomited, the man mechanically let go of her, took a few steps back, and waited for her to finish vomiting before stepping forward to wipe the water stains from the corners of her mouth with his sleeve.
"So you really disgust me."
Su Xi suddenly looked at the man and saw the hurt and frustration in his eyes, realizing he had misunderstood. But she couldn't tell anyone that she was pregnant.
The man gave a self-deprecating chuckle, turned and left, his heartless words drifting back, "I will never touch you again."
"No, I didn't mean to disgust you, let me explain..." Su Xi quickly grabbed the man's wrist.
A woman taking the initiative for the first time should bring him joy, but he only feels anger and self-deprecation.
Feng Jue shoved the woman away. "Don't worry, I'm not like that scumbag. I won't go back on my word. Let's leave it at that. I will never touch a hair on your head again."
He got into the car, slammed the door shut, and uttered two chillingly cold words: "Drive!"
Liu Cheng shrank back, realizing that his boss and Miss Su had broken up. He cautiously said, "President Feng, this place is deserted. Miss Su is here alone, I'm afraid..."
