Chapter 101 A Refined Scoundrel
Looking through the car window at the slender, petite woman, Feng Jue's expression remained cold. "Take her to the passenger seat and raise the partition."
"Yes." Liu Cheng got out of the car and walked up to Su Xi. "Miss Su, please get in the car."
Su Xi smiled wryly, "Thank you for your kindness, but he probably doesn't want to see me."
"This is Mr. Feng's idea; he wants you to sit in the passenger seat."
Su Xi's eyes flickered, and she turned to look at the car. Through the windshield, she could see that the partition had been lowered. How much did he hate her?
"No need, I'll just take a taxi."
"That's not safe. President Feng is all bark and no bite. He's a really good person and doesn't know how to chase girls. If he offends you, please don't take it to heart."
Su Xi clenched her fist, not wanting to put Liu Cheng in a difficult position. "Okay. Thank you."
Once inside the car, even through the partition, she could still smell the faint, cool sandalwood fragrance wafting from behind her, a scent that inexplicably calmed her.
The man actually thought she was disgusting, which was why he vomited. Oh well, it's fine this way. As long as he doesn't take his anger out on Luo Chen, she's fine no matter what.
When they got out of the car at the apartment building, Su Xi waved to Liu Cheng to thank him, but her eyes fell on the back seat of the car, and she unconsciously clenched her fingers.
The back window remained open, and the man clearly had no intention of greeting her. Su Xi pursed her lips, turned, and went upstairs.
I received a call from Feng Jinchen as soon as I got home.
"Xixi, are you alright? Where are you? Feng Jue... he didn't do anything to you, did he?"
Sensing that the man's tone clearly showed he was more concerned about her chastity than her safety, Su Xi's voice was cold, "I'm fine. My uncle asked me a few questions and then brought me back."
"What did you ask?"
"Your uncle doesn't want me to say. If you really want to know, you can ask him yourself."
Sensing the woman's barbed words, Feng Jinchen sighed and softened his voice, "I'll come find you. What would you like to eat?"
I don't want to see you.
Feng Jinchen smiled. Ever since the woman hid behind Feng Jue and moved behind him, he knew that she still loved him. Moreover, his uncle's feelings were unrequited. Just thinking about it made him feel good.
"Since you won't tell me, I'll have Auntie make some of your favorite dishes. Don't worry, I won't be as rude as your uncle."
He hung up the phone after saying that. Not long after, Feng Jinchen came knocking on the door with a food box.
Su Xi opened the door, her expression somewhat cold. "Leave after you finish eating."
"Okay, I'll be at ease as long as you're eating and drinking well."
Tianjue Building.
Feng Jue pressed the landline and called Liu Cheng.
The man flipped through the documents without looking up. "Call a female employee in."
Liu Cheng's heart skipped a beat. "Just one?"
"right."
Liu Cheng hissed silently, feeling a bit of a toothache. The big boss had a falling out with Miss Su today; was he really going to just find any woman to vent his anger on? Impossible, right?
"Mr. Feng...Mr. Feng, besides being a woman, do you have any other requirements?"
The man paused in signing the document, seemingly lost in thought, before coldly saying, "In his early twenties."
Liu Cheng's heart skipped a beat. It seemed he had guessed correctly. He hesitated before speaking, "President Feng, are there any requirements regarding appearance? And physique..."
The man's icy gaze swept over him, almost freezing Liu Cheng in place.
Liu Cheng chuckled sheepishly, wishing he could slap his forehead a few times, and hurriedly turned to leave. He was so stupid; of course, the prettier the better, the more amazing the figure the better—wasn't that obvious?
There were quite a few female employees working overtime in the company, and Liu Cheng quickly selected Lin Linglong, an accountant in the finance department. She was twenty-one years old and had top-notch looks and figure.
It was Lin Linglong's first time riding the presidential observation elevator straight to the top floor, and she felt a little uneasy. "Assistant Liu, what does President Feng want with me?"
The girl was a recent college graduate, her big eyes filled with a clear-eyed naiveté.
Liu Cheng sighed, "I don't know the specifics. If, and I mean if, President Feng wants to do *that* to you, you can ring the bell if you don't want to."
Lin Linglong's oval face flushed bright red. President Feng was a refined and elegant man, a flower on a high mountain, and she had been captivated by him since she had only seen him once from afar.
Her current mood is almost no different from that of a fan meeting a saint.
Judging from the woman's expression, she was clearly willing. Liu Cheng thought to himself, "This damned age of judging by appearances." He just hoped that once Boss Feng sobered up, he wouldn't send him to mine in Africa.
Lin Linglong entered the CEO's office, and the door closed behind her. She nervously twisted her fingers together as she walked over step by step.
The moment the man looked up, she froze on the spot as if under a spell, lowering her eyes, "Mr. Feng... Mr. Feng."
"Don't be nervous."
Lin Linglong became even more nervous.
"I'll get to the point, and you can go about your business and leave work early. If you had feelings for a man, and later found out that he hit your mother with his car, and she died despite attempts to save her, and he absolutely did not do it intentionally, would you still like him? Be honest."
Lin Linglong looked up in shock. That's it? This question seems rather ominous.
"Sorry, I was just using an example. What's your answer?"
Meeting the man's deep, noble eyes, Lin Linglong quickly gave her answer, "No."
"...Okay, you can go back now. Don't tell anyone about this."
As soon as they left the president's office, Liu Cheng hurriedly asked, "President Feng, what's wrong? Are you alright?"
The woman's complexion was not good; she looked much worse than when she went in. "President Feng told me to keep this a secret."
Liu Cheng's heart sank. Could President Feng really be engaging in any kind of sexual harassment with his female subordinate? And in such an irresponsible way? Is things moving a little too fast?
After finishing his meal, Feng Jinchen cleaned up the table as usual.
"I've been working at Feng's for half a month now, why haven't I signed a dispatch contract?"
Feng Jinchen paused, his tone puzzled, "Can't you stay at Feng's? After all, it's your own company. Why go to someone else's company to be a slave?"
"Have you forgotten? Our divorce case is about to go to court."
Knowing the woman was still sulking, Feng Jinchen coaxed her, "We can hand over some things tomorrow morning."
He couldn't reason with Su Xi, so he decided to put pressure on Guangyao. He wanted to see which company would dare to hire Feng Jinchen's woman.
The next day, Su Xi arrived at the company, where some colleagues who had been reprimanded by Su Xi for their lack of business skills were gossiping in a corner.
Yin Liang also came over to listen to the gossip.
"Su Xi should have left yesterday, why is she still coming to work today?"
"I think President Feng wants to keep this vixen around. He hasn't gotten tired of her yet, so how could he bear to let her go?"
"Rumor has it," a man walked in mysteriously, lowering his voice, "Manager Shen from Guangyao is here in person. He just went to the president's office. Could he be here to ask for someone back?"
"Tsk tsk, that Manager Shen is handsome and refined, tall and long-legged, plus he wears gold-rimmed glasses. He's the epitome of a refined scoundrel. Just one look at him makes me tremble."
"Is this some kind of exaggeration? Are you having a stroke? Speaking of which, Su Xi actually made Manager Shen come in person to demand her return. She really is a scourge to the country."
"I think she and Manager Shen are definitely having an affair. She's ruining all the good men."
Yin Liang stood silently to the side, his eyes growing darker and darker.
It turned out that Su Xi was eating too well and didn't pay attention to him. She didn't realize that those people only treated her as a plaything; how could he be as sincere as she was?
He was extremely unwilling to accept this.
"Look, someone from HR is here. And that refined scoundrel, oh no, I mean Manager Shen, is here too."
