Chapter 47 My Innocence, How Should It Be Calculated?

What are you doing?

Sang Yuwan's heart pounded like a drum. Her mind, which had just begun to calm down, was once again plunged into endless turmoil.

Rong Zhi didn't say anything, picked her up, and strode into the bathroom.

"Rong Zhi!"

Sang Yuwan was in turmoil. She clenched her fists and pounded on his swollen chest. Her eyes, clouded with anger, revealed deep confusion and panic.

Rong Zhi's jawline tightened slightly. His sharp, commanding face shone brightly, yet was breathtaking.

Sang Yuwan felt flustered and confused, as if a huge rock was pressing on her chest, making it hard to breathe.

Rong Zhi frowned slightly, his gaze lingered on her face for a second, and a dangerous glint flashed in his eyes.

"What exactly do you want?" A hint of anger and bitterness flickered in the corners of Sang Yuwan's eyes.

Rong Zhi placed her on the sink without saying a word.

Even through the bathrobe, Sang Yuwan could feel the chill beneath. Her heart clenched, and her eyes held endless struggle and pain.

One wrong step leads to another.

That night at the Grand Hotel marked the beginning of a mistake.

Rong Zhi lowered his eyelids slightly, his deep eyes fixed on her, a faint smile playing on his lips.

"You gave me three million last time, what about this time?"

Sang Yuwan's eyes darkened, and the raging anger burning in her chest reached her eyes.

Rong Zhi looked at her quietly, as if waiting for an answer.

Perhaps due to her naturally aloof personality, Sang Yuwan extremely disliked being coerced.

Unfortunately, he repeatedly challenged her bottom line.

Her gaze was like a knife, piercing him, her pretty face covered with frost. After a few seconds, she suddenly curled her lips into a cold smile.

"How can my innocence be explained?"

Rong Zhi's lips curled slightly, a half-smile playing on his lips. "How do you want to settle this?"

Sang Yuwan's heart tightened, and she prepared to jump.

Rong Zhi quickly stopped him, lowering his voice, "Don't move."

Sang Yuwan tilted her head slightly, her gaze lowered, and said, "Let go."

Rong Zhi's brows furrowed slightly, and his eyes seemed to be stained with ink, dark and thick.

He held her down with one hand and took the hairdryer with the other.

Before Sang Yuwan could react, a buzzing sound came from her ears.

The man's long, slender fingers ran through her hair, the air filled with the fresh scent of shampoo, with a hint of sweetness.

Sang Yuwan's heart suddenly raced, her thoughts churning like a lake in a storm. The waves surged, unable to find peace.

The temperature and airflow of the hair dryer were just right.

Rong Zhi's touch was just right, from gentle caressing to meticulous combing, his control was perfect.

Heat lingered.

Ambiguity breeds.

Sang Yuwan was completely thrown into turmoil.

She had never had a man blow-dry her hair before.

Even Ming Zhan, her childhood sweetheart who had always been very protective of her, had never shown her such affection and tenderness.

Sang Yuwan took a deep breath. "Put it down, I can do it myself."

After saying that, he reached out and pushed Rong Zhi.

Rong Zhi stood before her like a guardian deity.

With that push, he actually got a little closer to her.

They were so close, their heartbeats intertwined.

"Rong Zhi, I'm talking to you." Sang Yuwan's hands were at a loss, unsure of where to put them. Her pretty face was flushed red.

"I heard you." Rong Zhi spoke slowly, his voice deep and magnetic. There was a hint of desire in it.

In Sang Yuwan's vision were the man's long neck and prominent Adam's apple, and the blood in her body began to boil.

She frowned slightly, took a deep breath, and said, "Get out of here."

Rong Zhi stood still, gently smoothing the knots in her hair with his fingertips.

The two were standing far too close. A cool, refreshing scent enveloped them, sending a tingling sensation through Sang Yuwan's heart, making her earlobes bleed red, and her breathing heavy and labored.

Rong Zhi turned off the hairdryer and put it away. He took a step back and braced himself on either side of her body.

Sang Yuwan's eyelashes trembled slightly, a huge sense of crisis rising in her heart. "What are you going to do?"

Rong Zhi's arm muscles are very smooth, his Adam's apple bobs, and he exudes tension.

He looked into her angry eyes and curled his lips into a smile. "Settle the score."

Sang Yuwan felt a chill run down her spine and shivered. She took a deep breath and gritted her teeth, "Second Master stole my innocence. No matter how you look at it, I'm the one who's at a disadvantage."

Rong Zhi narrowed his eyes, a slight smile playing on his lips. "So, I have to make it up to you."

Sang Yuwan looked up, her eyes showing fine red veins. "We're even."

Rong Zhi's fingers pressed down on her bathrobe, completely pulling her into his embrace.

Sang Yuwan instinctively leaned back, her starry eyes glaring at him fiercely, "Rong Zhi, don't push your luck."

Rong Zhi's eyes narrowed slightly, his smile enigmatic. "Didn't Madam want to make compensation?"

Sang Yuwan pursed her lips, her brows furrowed, "You're being too presumptuous."

Rong Zhi withdrew his hand and straightened up. He lowered his eyes, looking at her with a half-smile, "Who exactly is being presumptuous?"

That night at the Grand Hotel, she was the one who provoked him.

Sang Yuwan choked back a sob, her fingers tightening. The collar of her bathrobe was slightly open. Her delicate skin was flushed crimson.

Rong Zhi stared at her, his deep eyes subtly showing emotion in the dim light of the day.

Sang Yuwan took a deep breath, about to speak, when Rong Zhi's phone rang.

The man in black called, "Second Master, it's time to go."

Rong Zhi did not move.

Sang Yuwan gritted her teeth, "Aren't you leaving yet?"

Rong Zhi took a small step back, then wrapped one arm around her slender waist and lifted her off the sink.

Sang Yuwan pursed her lips, her chest heaving, her lips a vibrant color.

Rong Zhi suddenly lowered his head, a cool fragrance lingering around her ear, "I need to borrow something from you."

"A hairpin?" Sang Yuwan immediately realized.

Rong Zhi remained silent.

A mocking smile appeared on Sang Yuwan's lips. "Take it, I was planning to throw it away anyway."

Rong Zhi smiled and walked out.

Sang Yuwan watched her retreating figure, her fingers clenching tightly, her fingertips slightly cool.

Rong Zhi was about to reach the door when she suddenly realized what was happening and hurriedly called out to him.

"Put your clothes on."

Rong Zhi stopped, turned around, and replied, "You messed up my shirt."

Sang Yuwan's face turned bright red, her chest heaved violently, and she almost bit her lower lip until it bled.

Seeing this, Rong Zhi shrugged and said, "How about you find me one of my older brother's clothes?"

"Get out!" Sang Yuwan's anger reached its peak, and she glared at him hatefully.

A glint flashed in Rong Zhi's eyes. He turned his head and opened the bedroom door.

When Xian Si saw him come out shirtless, she blushed instantly and lowered her head, "Second Master."

Rong Zhi didn't take it to heart and walked straight towards the elevator, saying, "Assistant Ji, not bad."

Xian Si was taken aback.

drop--

A clear sound came from the elevator entrance.

Xian Si was startled, her eyes filled with doubt.

Is the elevator working again?

She stood at the door for several minutes, but Sang Yuwan still didn't come out. Mustering her courage, she knocked.

"Madam, are we still going to the company headquarters?"

Sang Yuwan's low, hoarse voice came out, "I'm not going."

"Yes, madam."

Xian Si went downstairs with a heavy heart.

Joy fades, passion fades, and death comes too.

This affair took a heavy toll on Sang Yuwan's energy, so much so that even someone as hardworking as her had to take a day off.

A thumping sound came from the stairwell. Xian Si stopped, peeked out, and looked down.

Minglang went upstairs, panting.

"Is Madam in?"
