Chapter 290 Jiang Yao's Final Struggle

During the fight, Jiang Zhi constantly tried to persuade Jiang Yao to let go of her hatred. She told Jiang Yao that hatred would only make her more miserable, and that only by letting go of hatred could she find happiness again. But Jiang Yao refused to listen. She had only one thought in her mind: to kill Jiang Zhi.

Jiang Zhi felt helpless and heartbroken. She knew Jiang Yao had fallen into a frenzy, unable to extricate herself. She could only try to stall for time, waiting for the police to arrive. She believed that once the police arrived, Jiang Yao would be subdued and the crisis would be resolved.

However, Jiang Yao didn't want to give Jiang Zhi this chance. She knew that once the police arrived, she would be completely defeated. She had to quickly kill Jiang Zhi and flee the scene. She increased the intensity of her attacks, trying to break free from Jiang Zhi's control.

Jiang Zhi felt increasingly exhausted. Her arms were already covered in wounds, and blood was flowing continuously. Her strength was gradually draining away, and her movements were becoming sluggish. Jiang Yao saw Jiang Zhi's condition deteriorating, and her heart was filled with joy. She felt that she was about to succeed, and Jiang Zhi would soon die under her knife.

Just when Jiang Yao thought she had secured victory, something unexpected happened. Jiang Zhi suddenly dodged Jiang Yao's attack and then kicked her in the wrist. The knife in Jiang Yao's hand slipped out and fell to the ground. Jiang Zhi took the opportunity to pounce on Jiang Yao and pin her down.

Jiang Yao struggled desperately, but she had lost her weapon and could not threaten Jiang Zhi. Jiang Zhi held Jiang Yao tightly, preventing her from moving. Her heart was filled with anger and helplessness. She did not understand why Jiang Yao was so determined to hurt her.

Just then, the police finally arrived at the scene. They quickly subdued Jiang Yao and took her into the police car. Jiang Zhi watched Jiang Yao being taken away, her heart filled with mixed emotions. She was grateful for her own safety, yet also saddened by Jiang Yao's stubborn persistence.

The author has something to say:

Jiang Yao's final struggle is both infuriating and helpless. Blinded by hatred, she embarked on a wrong path. In the process, she lost her mind and her sense of self, ultimately falling into an abyss from which she could not escape. Jiang Zhi's tolerance and kindness, however, are truly touching. Faced with Jiang Yao's attack, she chose not to retaliate, but instead tried to persuade Jiang Yao to let go of her hatred. This tolerance and kindness are qualities we should all cultivate in our lives. This story also teaches us that hatred only brings pain and destruction; only by letting go of hatred can we find true happiness.
