Chapter 741: Dangerous Pursuit

"I'm fine, thanks to you for arriving in time." Jiang Zhi said gratefully.

"It's not advisable to stay here for long. Let's leave first." Lin Xiao looked at the surrounding situation and said.

Jiang Zhi nodded, picked up the child, and quickly left the abandoned factory with Lin Xiao and the others. They arrived at a pre-prepared safe base, a small house in the suburbs, with a secluded environment that was difficult to be discovered.

After entering the hut, Jiang Zhi placed the child on the bed and began to tend to his own wounds. Lin Xiao and the others discussed their next plan.

"Jiang Yao and the mysterious organization are tracking us more and more closely this time. We can't continue to be passive like this." Lin Xiao said with a frown.

"I know that we must take the initiative to find the core stronghold of the mysterious organization and eliminate them in one fell swoop to completely get rid of danger." Jiang Zhi said firmly while bandaging the wound.

"However, the mysterious organization is very powerful, and it is not easy for us to find their core base." A companion said worriedly.

"I have been investigating these days and have found some clues that may point to an important stronghold of the mysterious organization." Jiang Zhi raised his head, a glimmer of hope in his eyes.

"Oh? What clue?" Lin Xiao asked.

"I noticed that they have been active in an abandoned manor in the suburbs recently. It seems to have been abandoned for a long time, but I think there may be hidden secrets." Jiang Zhi said.

"Okay, then we'll start from this abandoned manor, but we have to be careful and not fall into their trap again." Lin Xiao said.

Everyone nodded in agreement. Jiang Zhi looked at Lin Xiao and the others, her heart filled with gratitude and trust. She knew she was not alone on this road to revenge, and with the company and support of these friends, she became even more resolute in her belief.

After a brief rest in the cabin, Jiang Zhi began preparing for the next operation. She checked her weapons and equipment, ensuring they were intact. Meanwhile, she silently prayed that this time, she would successfully locate the mysterious organization's core base, avenge Tang Junxi and Shen Qingchen's father, and secure a peaceful future for herself and her child.

Night gradually falls, and darkness envelopes the earth, as if hiding something for the coming danger. Jiang Zhi knows that a more severe challenge is about to come, but she is undaunted, for in her heart she holds hatred, love, and an unwavering pursuit of justice. With this unwavering faith, she will join Lin Xiao and others in venturing into the unknown dangers to pursue the truth and defend all they hold dear.

The child had fallen asleep. Jiang Zhi gently walked to the bedside. Looking at the child's peaceful sleeping face, a surge of tenderness welled up in her heart. She gently kissed the child's forehead and whispered, "My dears, Mom will definitely protect you." Then, she turned, picked up her weapon, and walked out of the cabin with Lin Xiao and the others, heading towards the abandoned manor in the suburbs.

The night breeze was a bit cool, blowing on Jiang Zhi's face, making her more alert. She looked up at the night sky, the stars twinkling, as if guiding her direction. She took a deep breath, quickened her pace, and thought silently in her heart: Mysterious organization, your doom is coming soon.

Along the way, they carefully avoided possible surveillance and continued along secluded paths. The moonlight cast a shadow on the ground, illuminating their path but also making their figures more conspicuous. Jiang Zhi remained vigilant, her ears listening to every movement around her, not missing a single suspicious sound.

Finally, they arrived near the abandoned manor. The walls of the manor were tall and thick, covered with vines, giving it a particularly eerie look. The manor gate was closed, and there was silence all around, only the rustling of leaves in the wind.

Jiang Zhi and the others hid behind a big tree and observed the situation in the manor. They found that the manor was full of various traps and secret sentries, and the slightest mistake would trigger the alarm and attract the enemy's attention.

"It seems that the defense here is very tight. We must be careful." Lin Xiao said in a low voice.

"Well, I'll go check the surroundings first to see if there are other entrances." Jiang Zhi said.

"Okay, be careful." Lin Xiao warned.

Jiang Zhi nodded and quietly moved toward the side of the manor. Her figure was like a ghost, moving freely in the night. She carefully observed the manor wall and the surrounding terrain, looking for a possible breakthrough.

Suddenly, she found a small hole covered by weeds, which was just big enough for one person to pass through. Jiang Zhi was delighted. She carefully cleared the weeds at the entrance of the hole and then slowly crawled in.

Upon entering the manor, Jiang Zhi discovered that the situation inside was more complicated than she had imagined. The manor was filled with various buildings and gardens, but most of them were abandoned and looked dilapidated. However, in some corners, she found some new traces, indicating that there had been frequent activities here recently.

Jiang Zhi slowly explored along these traces, her heart beating faster, nervous and excited. She knew that she was getting closer and closer to the core of the mysterious organization, but at the same time she was facing greater danger.

Just as she was carefully walking around a rockery, she suddenly heard footsteps. Jiang Zhi quickly hid in the bushes nearby, holding her breath and staring in the direction of the footsteps.

Several mysterious people came out of a room, whispering something to each other with serious expressions. Jiang Zhi pricked up her ears, trying to listen to their conversation, but due to the distance, she could only hear some vague sounds.
