Chapter 788 Jiang Yao's Approach

Jiang Yao, a woman consumed by jealousy and hatred, had fallen completely into a madness after repeatedly trying to capture Jiang Zhi without success. Her luxurious villa was in shambles, with expensive porcelain shards scattered across the floor and delicate furniture overturned and smashed in her rage. The servants stood in fear in the corner, not daring to make a sound.

"A bunch of trash!" Jiang Yao roared, her eyes bloodshot, and her originally pretty face was distorted by the ferocious expression. "It's been so long and I still can't find anyone. What's the use of you!" She grabbed a crystal ornament and smashed it hard at the bodyguard closest to her. The bodyguard didn't dare to dodge and took the blow head-on. Blood instantly flowed from his forehead, but he still lowered his head, not daring to complain at all.

Jiang Yao paced back and forth in the room, like a caged animal, each step filled with endless anxiety and anger. Jiang Zhi's face kept appearing in her mind. How could that woman, whom she hated so much, deserve Shen Qingchen's love? How could she have a happy and fulfilling life, while she could only struggle in this abyss of pain. "Jiang Zhi, I will never let you have it easy!" she muttered to herself through gritted teeth.

Just then, the phone rang suddenly, a piercing sound in the silent, oppressive atmosphere. Jiang Yao impatiently picked up the phone and saw the mysterious number on the caller ID. Her heart tightened. This was the contact number used exclusively by the top brass of the mysterious organization. She took a deep breath, tried to calm herself, and then pressed the answer button.

"Jiang Yao," a cold and stern voice came from the other end of the line, without a trace of emotion, "Get rid of Jiang Zhi as soon as possible, don't let her ruin the situation." These simple words were like a heavy hammer, hitting Jiang Yao's heart hard.

"Yes, I understand." Jiang Yao suppressed her fear and responded respectfully. She knew very well how powerful this mysterious organization was. She was just a pawn in their hands. If she wasn't careful, she would be discarded like a worn-out shoe.

After hanging up the phone, Jiang Yao slumped onto the sofa, staring blankly ahead. A moment later, a frenzied fire reignited in her eyes. "Jiang Zhi, this time, you really can't escape." She clenched her fists, her nails digging deep into her palms, drawing a trickle of blood, yet she seemed insensitive to the pain.

Jiang Yao immediately stood up and began mobilizing her forces. She made a series of calls, her voice sharp and urgent: "Everyone, gather at the villa immediately and bring your best equipment. We are going to capture Jiang Zhi. This time we must succeed. If we mess up again, you will all die!"

Soon, a group of black-clad, armed men gathered in the courtyard outside the villa. They were well-trained, but faced with the frenzied Jiang Yao, they were all terrified. They remained silent, awaiting her orders.

Jiang Yao strode out of the villa and glanced at everyone with cold eyes. "Let's go!" She gave an order, and the convoy drove out of the courtyard in a mighty manner, speeding towards the approximate direction where Jiang Zhi and others were hiding.

All the way to the car, Jiang Yao sat in the back seat, a sinister look in her eyes, constantly imagining Jiang Zhi begging for mercy. She imagined Jiang Zhi, her face shrouded in terror, kneeling down, begging him to spare her and the child, while she gazed down upon her, savoring the thrill of revenge. At this thought, Jiang Yao's lips curled up in a twisted arc, and she let out a creepy laugh.

"Jiang Zhi, you took away everything from me. Now, it's time for you to pay the price." Jiang Yao muttered to herself, her eyes becoming more and more crazy.

To find Jiang Zhi, Jiang Yao resorted to all means. Not only did she mobilize all her spies and intelligence networks, she also enlisted the help of a mysterious organization. By analyzing Jiang Zhi's recent whereabouts and tracking down clues, they finally located the area where Jiang Zhi and the others were hiding.

As the convoy neared its destination, Jiang Yao's heartbeat quickened, not because she was nervous, but because she was overwhelmed with excitement at the prospect of "victory." She couldn't wait to see Jiang Zhi's desperate eyes, to destroy her happiness with her own hands.

The car stopped some distance from the mountain manor. Jiang Yao got out and looked around, her eyes revealing a cruel determination. This mountain forest was quiet and deep, usually sparsely populated, making it an ideal hiding place for Jiang Zhi and his companions. But now, it was about to become their burial place.

"Everyone, be careful. Don't alert the enemy," Jiang Yao whispered to her subordinates. She knew Jiang Zhi was no pushover, and he had a group of equally formidable allies around him. If they weren't careful, they could easily escape.

The men nodded, spread out, and cautiously approached the manor. Jiang Yao followed behind, her steps light yet impatient. She clutched a pistol tightly in her hand, her weapon of revenge. She could already see Jiang Zhi falling under her gun.

The closer they got to the manor, the more murderous intent Jiang Yao felt. She recalled the first time she'd met Shen Qingchen, that handsome, elegant man. At first glance, he had captured her heart. She'd thought her beauty and family background would make it easy to capture Shen Qingchen, but she hadn't expected Jiang Zhi to show up and ruin everything.

"Why can't Chen Qingchen see the good in me? Why does he only have eyes for that bitch!" Jiang Yao's heart was filled with hatred. Her hands trembled slightly because she used too much force, and the gun in her hand flashed a cold light in the sunlight.

At this moment, Jiang Zhi and the others inside the manor were still unaware of the impending danger. They were frantically preparing a response plan, unaware that a life-or-death crisis was quietly approaching. Jiang Yao stood in the woods not far from the manor, gazing at the manor through the gaps in the branches, a sinister smile on her face.

"Jiang Zhi, today is the day you die," Jiang Yao whispered softly, as if announcing a settled fact. Then, with a wave of her hand, her men rushed towards the manor like ghosts. A thrilling battle was about to begin.
