(8 Fresh Coins) Chapter 11 (Part 2) The Fall
Seeing that his eyes were closed, Si Qiang assumed he was too angry to talk to her, and immediately panicked. She leaned closer and hugged him tightly, saying in a soft voice, "I really didn't mean it, I really won't do it again next time... Please don't ignore me..."
A wave of intense shame and guilt overwhelmed Xu Qi. He wished he could faint again right now—after all, he'd already lost all face last night, and even been made to pass out—being unconscious would save him from facing this annoying guy. Next time? Did he think he was an idiot? Next time, he'd probably be dead! He was a mature man approaching thirty; how could he compare himself to this insatiable fellow?
Speaking of this, he really couldn't understand it. If Si Qiang was so sexually frustrated now, how did she spend the previous twenty years? Given her circumstances, how could she lack lovers? Now she's acting like a lustful ghost who's been holding back for decades!
...No. Why doesn't he have a lover? Isn't the answer obvious? Could it be that the "love" Si Qiang spoke of started a long time ago? Perhaps even earlier than him? Xu Qi dared not think any further. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at the other person, his Adam's apple bobbing as if he wanted to speak, but he could only utter a weak breath.
Seeing that he had finally opened his eyes, Si Qiang quickly pressed her face against his and kept apologizing, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry! Are you angry? I really won't do it again!"
Now that she knows to apologize humbly, why wasn't she more restrained back then? Xu Qi really wanted to throw those words at that face full of regret. He knew Si Qiang was genuinely regretting it—she had been before. But no matter how obedient she was now, she would still continue to act recklessly when the time came. What could he do with this kind of person who "sincerely admits her mistakes but resolutely refuses to change"? Forget it, he didn't have the energy to waste time arguing with her for the time being. It was more important to rest and recover as soon as possible.
He turned his head slightly with difficulty, looking at the somewhat familiar background of the room. His sluggish mind took a while to finally remember that this was Si Qiang's room. More than a year ago, something had happened here—the scene was similar to now, except that the atmosphere between them had completely changed. The man who had been so indifferent back then was now giving him a sweet, ingratiating smile, rubbing against him like a cute little kitten.
A smile unconsciously crept onto his face, which Si Qiang immediately noticed. Her large, cat-like eyes filled with delight, and she tightened her arms around him. She lowered her head and planted a kiss on his lips—not a deep one, just a series of soft, puppy-like smacking sounds. Xu Qi's smile deepened at this rare display of innocence (mistakenly), and his heart softened even more. It has to be said, when facing Si Qiang, Xu Qi's intelligence was less than half of his normal self. He had just been furious at her lack of restraint, but now he was completely captivated by her adorable, coquettish manner—men, truly the most pathetic creatures in the world.
Unfortunately, their sweet moment didn't last long, as the unfortunate ringtone of her phone sounded. Hearing it was her phone, Xu Qi immediately turned away from the man's kiss and looked at the phone on the bedside table.
Si Qiang was immersed in the sweet atmosphere when he suddenly looked away. Following his gaze, she realized it was the other person's phone ringing. He glared angrily at the innocent little thing, his heart filled with resentment: How dare they call at a time like this! How inconsiderate! Who is so rude!
Seeing that he had no intention of helping, Xu Qi could only try with difficulty to raise his arm, but his entire body was tightly wrapped around the other's slender frame, and his own bones were completely broken and limp, making it impossible for him to reach. Anger welled up inside him. This shameless man had tormented him so relentlessly last night, treating him like a toy, posing him in all sorts of indecent positions to vent his frustrations, leaving him in this state, and now he dared to act tough and refuse to help! What a childish brat!
Clearly, these two people were thinking on completely different levels. So the poor phone went quiet after ringing and vibrating for a while, but less than 3 seconds later, it began to persistently assert its presence again.
The two stared at each other for a while before Si Qiang reluctantly reached for the phone, pressed the call button, and then... placed it directly to her ear, showing no intention of letting the real owner answer.
"Brother! You finally answered the phone! Hurry up and bring that Merlin back, I really can't do anything with him!" Hiding in the bathroom, Shao Yang, looking frustrated, heard that the other end had finally answered and quickly lowered his voice to speak.
It's no wonder he wanted to give up. That handsome young man had been crying non-stop since last night, keeping him awake. He had patiently coaxed him for a long time in the latter half of the night before finally getting the little devil to sleep. But by noon today, Merlin, who had cried himself to sleep all night, sat blankly on the edge of the bed. He wasn't crying anymore, but he was even more difficult to deal with than last night, refusing to budge no matter what he said. He had no choice but to make a phone call. Although Si Qiang was definitely unhappy, having Xu Qi would be far more effective than him. From last night until today, his already dwindling patience had completely run out, and he wished he could personally drag the boy out and throw him away.
