Chapter Seventy-Six: They'll Laugh at You

Shen Tinghe smiled and said, "Don't worry, there won't be any problems with the investment."

In reality, he never intended to invest; he was merely cooperating with Lin Qingtong.

Lin Qingtong watched Jiang Hao's obsequious behavior from the side, a mocking smile playing on her lips, before turning her gaze to Su Wanjun beside her.

"Mom, let's go back."

Su Wanjun frowned when she saw Jiang Hao's appearance.

I really misjudged him before.

Suddenly, when she thought of what she had experienced back then, Su Wanjun's heart trembled, and she tightly grasped Lin Qingtong's hand, afraid that she might disappear again if she didn't take the time to do so.

Jiang Hao noticed Su Wanjun and hurriedly stepped forward.

"Mom, please persuade Lin Qingtong to say some nice things to my uncle. After all, we are husband and wife."

Thinking about Su Wanjun's previous attitude, he wanted her to scold Lin Qingtong.

Unexpectedly, Su Wanjun stepped back and looked at Jiang Hao with disdain.

"Why should I advise Tongtong? You're shameless for bringing your mistress home, and you still remember my Tongtong? Don't think we don't know. Don't ever come to my house again."

"Let's go."

Su Wanjun took Lin Qingtong's hand, smiled gently at her, and then turned and left the banquet.

After Lin Qingtong left, Shen Tinghe could only look at Jiang Hao with regret.

"It's a pity that Lin Qingtong didn't accept your apology."

He didn't directly state the consequences, but simply stared at Jiang Hao with cold and indifferent eyes.

Jiang Hao's heart skipped a beat. He wanted to say something more, but Shen Tinghe had already turned and walked out of the banquet hall.

When the surrounding guests saw that Lin Qingtong and Shen Tinghe had already left, they all gave strange looks and suggested leaving as well.

"We are too honored to be invited to your Jiang family's banquet. Please don't invite us next time."

"I've never seen anyone do things like this before. It's truly an eye-opener."

Before long, only the mess around Jiang Hao and his group remained in the courtyard.

Seeing that things were not going well, Qi Huimin quickly stepped forward to change the subject.

"Brother Hao, let's get Mom to the hospital right away."

Jiang Hao finally came to his senses. His mother was still unconscious. His face darkened as he helped Madam Jiang up. Qi Huimin reached out her hand, but he slapped it away and spoke coldly.

"You stay home and clean up the banquet. I'll settle the score with you when I get back."

After leaving those words behind, Jiang Hao drove his wife to the hospital, while Qi Huimin stood there, her teeth practically grinding to powder.

She didn't feel it was her fault at all; she only felt that everything was because of Lin Qingtong, which was why things had turned out this way.

After the servants helped tidy up, the food items were thrown directly into the trash can.

They wouldn't even eat these rotten fruits and frozen, smelly seafood themselves, so they simply threw them away.

Qi Huimin stood alone in the courtyard, her abdomen slightly cramping, her eyes filled with resentment as she stared in the direction everyone had left.

Suddenly, a figure came out and, seeing that no one was around, went forward to comfort them.

"It's all their fault, it has nothing to do with you, they're the ones who are bad! When you give birth to the child, they will all dote on you."

Cao Kui's eyes flickered slightly as he comforted Qi Huimin.

A resolute glint flashed in Qi Huimin's eyes. Yes, it was all other people's fault; they had driven her to this point.

She will definitely not let Lin Qingtong off the hook.

Lin Qingtong was completely unaware of all this, as she was busy consulting with a lawyer about divorce matters.

This time, Su Wanjun didn't stop her, but she was a little worried.

"Divorce is not so simple now. If Jiang Hao is determined not to divorce, it may take a year or two."

After hearing this, Lin Qingtong simply smiled and replied, "It's alright, I have my own way of solving it."

She has a lot of evidence of Jiang Hao's infidelity, as well as recordings of his shameless boasting, which are enough to determine whether their marriage is on the verge of collapse.

Now all we have to do is wait for Jiang Hao to go get the divorce certificate together.

The next morning, Lin Qingtong went directly to Shen Tinghe's office.

She wore a bright red dress, flamboyant and unrestrained, her skin as white as jade, which accentuated her voluptuous figure, making it impossible to look away.

Lin Qingtong pushed a cup of coffee in front of Shen Tinghe, her smile full of charm.

"Uncle, I have a favor to ask of you."

Shen Tinghe slowly flipped through the documents in his hand, offering a curt refusal.

"not good."

Lin Qingtong sat down, cupped her cheeks in her hands, and asked with a charming smile.

"You haven't even asked me what it's about."

Shen Tinghe stopped what he was doing and looked at her slowly.

"I don't think you're here to ask me for anything good."

Lin Qingtong glared at Shen Tinghe reproachfully, her voice becoming even clearer and more pleasant.

"How could you say that to me, Uncle? I must have something good to tell you. The cooperation with Tenghai Real Estate has ended, and I still have things to do at my own company."

Shen Tinghe glanced at Lin Qingtong lazily and indifferently, "Is it your lousy company?"

Lin Qingtong smiled helplessly and explained, "It's not some lousy company; I want to run it well."

Shen Tinghe stared thoughtfully at Lin Qingtong's pretty face for a long time before finally agreeing.

"Okay, come back to me if you encounter any difficulties."

He paused, then added, "I'll make fun of you appropriately."

With Shen Tinghe's permission, Lin Qingtong breathed a sigh of relief, pushed a gift box in front of Shen Tinghe, and gazed at him with her delicate eyes.

"Consider this a farewell gift."

Shen Tinghe glanced at the pink box, which was decorated with a bow, a style that Lin Qingtong liked.
