Chapter Twenty-Three: Mocking



Lin Qingtong's beauty is particularly striking, leading many to subconsciously assume she must be the one who is assertive and has done something wrong.

After warning Lin Jiaorui, Lin Qingtong turned and went to the corridor, only to meet a pair of deep, unfathomable eyes.

Shen Tinghe stood in the corridor with one hand in his pocket, his thin lips slightly moving.

Seeing this, Lin Qingtong smiled with interest and greeted him.

"Mr. Chen, isn't it exciting and interesting?"

Upon hearing this, Shen Tinghe's eyes flickered slightly, and he changed his words of comfort that were about to come out.

"Don't ruin my partnership."

He originally wanted to say that he would help deal with these rumors, but then he felt indignant. Why should he clean up the mess for someone like Lin Qingtong?

He felt that this was who she was, and therefore she should bear the infamy.

But before he arrived, he had already asked Qi Song to help deal with the rumors.

Upon hearing Shen Tinghe's words, Lin Qingtong smiled charmingly.

"Thank you for your concern, Mr. Shen."

Shen Tinghe raised an eyebrow slightly and let out a cold laugh.

"Don't flatter yourself. Did I say a single word of concern for you?"

Lin Qingtong slowly approached, her hands behind her back, her almond-shaped eyes shining brightly, revealing a captivating beauty.

"But I could feel it; you were concerned about me."

Shen Tinghe was stunned for a moment, then stepped back.

But this retreat seems to indirectly confirm that he does care about Lin Qingtong, even if he's just saying one thing and meaning another.

Lin Qingtong suddenly covered her mouth and chuckled softly, her eyes shining even brighter, and called out.

"Mr. Shen."
