Chapter 12 Dog Thing

Chapter 12 Dog Thing

Bo Jinzhou looked up and met Lin Zhiren's gaze, which was filled with resentment.

Lin Zhiren paused, as Bo Jinzhou's powerful aura surged forth, instantly dissolving his resentful expression and leaving him feeling powerless.

What does he have to offer in order to compete?

Five years ago, when Bo Jinzhou wasn't around, he never won the argument. Now that Bo Jinzhou has returned to China, he has even less right to compete.

After Jiang Yimian finished eating, she found a corner to sit down. On the stage, Lu Wenchang was giving a speech with his wife and daughter, looking incredibly impressive.

Bo Jinzhou sat down next to her, watching her nonchalant demeanor, as if she were just a guest invited to a banquet.

When Jiang's mother passed away when he was sixteen, Lu Wenchang couldn't wait to promote the nanny Su Hui to a higher position.

Her childhood playmate had suddenly become her older sister, and she tearfully accused Lu Wenchang of being cold-blooded and heartless at her mother's funeral.

The contemptuous and disgusted looks from those who came to pay their respects were unbearable for Lu Wenchang, a man so concerned with his reputation.

He immediately slapped her twice, destroying any remaining father-daughter bond.

After that, Jiang Yimian caused a huge scene at home and even got into a physical fight with Su Hui.

The servants in the house were all old servants from before, and they were all dismissed by Lu Wenchang for helping Jiang Yimian.

Even the elderly people left behind by my maternal grandfather were not spared.

Although the Jiang residence still bears the surname Jiang, it has long since become Lu Wenchang's property.

He also took over the Jiang family, completely eliminating Jiang Yimian's status.

In the past, she couldn't help but slap Lu Yiwan whenever she saw her, but now she can calmly call her "sister" and watch her celebration banquet and her father's doting on Lu Yiwan.

For some reason, Bo Jinzhou felt a sense of panic rising in his heart, which made him afraid.

He clenched his fists, trying to ease the dullness and discomfort in his heart.

Even without Lu Wenchang's favor, she still has the trust left to her by Aunt Jiang, and she still has Tan Yusu and Chu Yao, so she won't live too badly.

Perhaps they had already become numb.

Bo Jinzhou could only console himself with this thought.

What's going on between you and Lin Zhiren?

He suddenly changed the subject.

Jiang Yimian was in a daze when she heard this and felt a little confused.

Her beautiful eyes looked at him with a hint of bewilderment.

"nothing."

Bo Jinzhou: "Jiang Mianmian, you were with him."

His words were firm, indicating that he knew, so Jiang Yimian didn't waste any more words: "Yes."

Bo Jinzhou felt a terrible pain in his chest. He didn't know why, but whenever he heard anything about the two of them being together, he felt as if countless ants were gnawing at his heart.

He scoffed, "He's the illegitimate son of the Lin family. What kind of eyes do you have that you'd choose him?"

Jiang Yimian frowned, sensing his mockery. "Even if my eyesight is bad, it's still better than yours."

Being with a green tea bitch, don't you feel green with envy?

Bo Jinzhou clicked his tongue, lifted his thin eyelids, pinched her cheeks, making her pink lips pout: "Say it again, hmm?"

Jiang Yimian bit his tiger's mouth without hesitation. Bo Jinzhou didn't dodge, but his cold and playful expression paused.

The area between my thumb and forefinger was itchy, like a series of electric currents spreading throughout my body and finally hitting my heart.

Jiang Yimian had actually used force, leaving teeth marks, but Bo Jinzhou remained motionless like a wooden doll, leaving Jiang Yimian feeling frustrated. She should have just bled him out.

Bo Jinzhou raised an eyebrow, looking at the teeth marks on his hand as if admiring a work of art. "I'm relieved that you have a temper."

“However, that’s too light,” he said, reaching out his hand. “A bit harder would be more intimidating.”

"You can't just bite other people."

Jiang Yimian gave him a look that seemed to say, "Are you some new breed of idiot?" and forcefully shook off his hand.

Bo Jinzhou looked at her as if she were a ragdoll cat with its fur standing on end—she was incredibly cute.

Thinking of the hug she gave Han Feng that day, she poked her shoulder with her fingertips, "Jiang Mianmian, how long has it been since we hugged?"

"Come give me a hug."

Jiang Yimian secretly rolled her eyes. She must have been in America for too long to even make such a shameless request.

She ignored him, which only made Bo Jinzhou find her more adorable.

When she gets angry, she's still the same as before, ignoring everyone.

Jiang Yimian didn't stay long and got up to leave.

Bo Jinzhou followed, and his presence drew everyone's attention.

Their relationship was observed by everyone.

Watching Bo Jinzhou's tall and upright figure catch up with the aloof and pretty figure walking towards the gate.

It made everyone's memories rewind, as if they had returned to the days when Jiang Yimian was still the little princess of the Jiang family.

Wherever Jiang Yimian is, Bo Jinzhou will always be by his side.

Jiang Yimian's taxi fare was paid by Lu Wenchang, and Chu Yao was expected to arrive soon.

She stood by the roadside waiting, a crisp suit jacket draped over her shoulders, large and warm.

The October wind was biting cold. Jiang Yimian was about to take off her clothes when a large hand pressed down on her shoulder. "Keep them on. Don't cry if you catch a cold."

Jiang Yimian took a step back. "Brother-in-law, my sister's celebration banquet isn't over yet. You should go back now. Chu Yao will come to pick me up."

Bo Jinzhou's face immediately darkened. Just then, the car arrived. The Maybach stopped in front of the two of them. Song Zhou got out of the car and opened the back door. "Miss Jiang, please."

Jiang Yimian: "Assistant Song, I'm not your boss."

Song Zhou: "Ms. Jiang, ladies first."

Jiang Yimian raised an eyebrow. So gentlemanly.

Bo Jinzhou, feeling choked with anger, simply forced her into the car and slammed the door shut.

Jiang Yimian clicked her tongue lightly. The boss was a ruthless bandit, but the assistant was a gentleman. It was quite a contrast.

She turned her head and saw Lu Yiwan chasing after her, lifting her skirt. She immediately smiled and felt very happy.

The car drove away from here.

"Assistant Song, just take me back to school."

Bo Jinzhou: "Go to the cloud."

"I want to go back to school."

"Sweetie, it's comfortable living in the clouds, don't throw a tantrum."

Jiang Yimian turned her head, smiled at him, and then couldn't help but curse, "Fuck you."

Bo Jinzhou paused, and both the driver and Song Zhou were shocked, their philtrums bulging. Song Zhou quickly pressed a button to raise the partition; they couldn't listen to what was about to happen.

Bo Jinzhou covered her mouth, "Who taught you that? It's too vulgar, it doesn't sound good."

Jiang Yimian: "Gibberish gibberish (I'll curse you, you motherfucker, you motherfucker, you motherfucker)."

Bo Jinzhou understood. Her soft lips moved gently in his palm, tickling him and making him feel soft.

His eyes darkened, he calmed his heavy breathing, and roughly ruffled her hair. "Jiang Mianmian, you're getting more and more annoying."

The two had fought a lot when they were young. Later, after they got along better, they still bickered often. Bo Jinzhou would often get so angry with her that he couldn't speak, so he would hug her and pinch her cheeks, then move his face to hit her.

Jiang Yimian's hair was messy and disheveled. With a frustrated expression, she grabbed his wrist and bit his bony hand.

This time she used all her strength, but Bo Jinzhou didn't utter a sound. She thought it wasn't painful enough, so she clenched her teeth deeper and deeper until she tasted the rust.

The tip of his tongue was hot and soft. Bo Jinzhou pulled his hand back, his heart pounding uncontrollably.

Looking at the bloodstains, he forced a smile. "Jiang Mianmian, you really are like a dog."

Jiang Yimian cursed directly: "You're the dog, you piece of trash, don't force me to bleed you again."
