Chapter 27 Always Believe

When I woke up, it was already dark.

Yu Muyang got up, washed up, walked to the balcony and looked up at the sky.

The sky is studded with little stars, which are doing their best to melt the little bits of light into a faint glow. It is not as bright as the sun, but not as cold as the moon.

He thought of Yan Cuo's face, a face that was sometimes sad and sometimes happy. She was like the brightest star in the night sky, illuminating him and allowing him to move forward with determination.

He picked up his phone. It was already ten o'clock, but he still couldn't help but send her a message.

"Are you asleep?"

The message from the other end did come back quickly. "You're awake, how was your sleep?"

Yu Muyang smiled. He could imagine the girl’s expression now. She must be excited and a little nervous.

"I slept well and now I feel refreshed. This is all thanks to you."

There was a pause for a while, and there was no reply. Yu Muyang thought she had fallen asleep and was about to put down the phone when the message alert sounded.

"Nonsense, how can it be because of me? You haven't had a good sleep for a long time. You will definitely feel better after a good sleep."

"Because I know that my Yanyan has been waiting for me, and I am very happy." He smiled dotingly at the screen, but he didn't know that Yancuo on the opposite side had already blushed with embarrassment.

"Don't talk nonsense, I wasn't waiting for you." The message came back quickly. Yu Muyang looked at it and smiled even more deeply.

What a duplicitous little girl.

Thinking of her red eyes from crying for him and her nervous look, he just wanted to hug her tightly in his arms.

He couldn't help but want to tease him again.

"Yanyan, tell me the truth, I haven't seen you for so long, do you miss me?"

"Nonsense, I just saw him today."

"I mean, we haven't seen each other for so long. Don't you miss me?"

Yan Cuo stared at the screen for a long time without saying anything, as if he wanted to see a hole in it.

"No."

After typing these three words, she looked at the screen nervously.

The phone paused for a moment, and she nervously refreshed it and saw his message.

There were only six words, but Yan Cuo felt his heart deeply shaken.

"But I missed you."

Yan Cuo held the phone and couldn't help but read the words on the screen again and again, his heart filled with uncontrollable joy.

She had so many things she wanted to say to him, but when the words came to her lips, she didn't know how to start. She didn't dare let him know that she was still as worried as ever, that she hadn't made any progress, and that she couldn't completely let go of him.

Who made him such a good person? I have to follow him all the time to keep up with him.

He is always surrounded by followers, some proud and cold, some lovely and gentle.

And what am I? I have an average appearance, average grades, and there is nothing worth bragging about in my life.

She told herself countless times to be confident and brave, but many times, she still had deep doubts about herself.

As she thought about it, she fell into memories, looking at the sky outside the window. At the highest point, there was a star that was the least conspicuous, but still shining silently. Yan Cuo thought of herself, who was unknown, but still wanted to shine.

Be brave this time, this person is someone you must protect.

Yu Muyang, I gave you most of my heart, leaving only a small corner for myself to accommodate my little loss and my little inferiority.

Picking up the phone, she looked at the phone keyboard quietly, as if she had made an important decision.

"Yu Muyang, I miss you too, very much.

I have low self-esteem and am always worried that you don't like me anymore and want to leave me. I dare not tell you because I don't want you to see me as a coward. I hope you will always see me as brave and fearless, just like when we first met.

The first time we met, I was brave for the first time in my life. Maybe I just didn’t want them to beat you again, or maybe I just felt sorry for you.

But, it's funny, I fell in love with you the first time I saw you.

What does a thirteen or fourteen year old know about love?

I was so bad at that time, so bad that I didn't even like myself. I kept my feelings hidden and didn't dare to get close to you.

Later you took the initiative to go to and from school with me. I was very happy, but I was also scared.

I'm afraid you're doing this to repay me, even though it's not a favor, but I don't want you to repay me either.

Later, I didn’t dare get too close to you. I was afraid that if I got too close, I would lose control of myself.

But, in the end, there was no way, and that little bit of affection slowly took root and sprouted.

Yu Muyang, from now on I will give you most of my heart, okay? I will just keep a small corner for myself to accommodate my little loss and my little inferiority.

Yu Muyang, seventeen-year-old Yan Cuo really likes you very much. Promise me that you will never let me worry about you in the future, okay? "

After the long message was sent, Yan Cuo breathed a sigh of relief.

For so many years, he has been my emotional life. He has seeped into my life bit by bit and is everywhere.

But this made her even more afraid of his disappearance.

Sometimes she thought that if she didn't give hope at the beginning, she wouldn't be afraid of disappointment later.

There was no message from the phone for a long time, and Yan Cuo's heart sank.

After refreshing several times, I finally gave up.

Maybe, he gave up, gave up on such a bad self.

The cell phone rang, and Yan Cuo picked it up hurriedly, not daring to press the answer button for a long time.
