Chapter 3: Going Home Together

"No, I didn't think anything, thank you." The boy looked at her for a long time without saying anything. Yan Cuo felt a little helpless and was about to leave.

The boy's voice came: "Yancuo, is that right?" Yancuo turned around and nodded, a little embarrassed. The boy looked at her and smiled: "Do you live in the front? It's on the way, let's go together."

Yancuo wanted to say no, but he saw the boy had already started walking, so he had no choice but to look up and follow him. The two of them walked one in front and one behind, in silence.

Not long after, Yan Cuo arrived. She waved to the boy and said, "Goodbye, I'm home, Yu Muyang." The boy looked at her and nodded, "Come in, goodbye." Then he turned and left.

Yancuo returned to his room, thinking about what had just happened. Fortunately, it was a false alarm. Fortunately, he had helped him. He thought, he is really handsome. As he thought about it, his face felt a little hot. Yancuo didn't know what was wrong, he just felt hot.

We probably won’t meet tomorrow, Yan Cuo thought again.

It was another early morning, a chilly one in late autumn. Yancuo wrapped himself in his clothes and walked slowly. It was still dark and a little foggy.

Walking to the intersection, he saw a familiar figure standing there. Yan Cuo was stunned for a moment. Could it be him? It shouldn't be. How could he be here?

Yan Cuo thought for a moment, then stood up and prepared to walk over. The figure spoke, "Let's go together, little girl." Yan Cuo looked at him, a little flustered. It was really him. Was he waiting for her here specifically? That shouldn't be the case. Maybe he just happened to see her.

Thinking of this, Yancuo nodded woodenly: "Okay, are you waiting for someone here?" The boy smiled again, "I'm waiting for you, don't you know?" "Ah? Why are you waiting for me? What's the matter?" The boy smiled and said nothing.

He looks so handsome when he smiles, Yancuo thought, but why should he wait for me?

The boy didn't say anything after that, and Yancuo didn't say anything either. They walked quietly to school and returned to their respective classrooms.

Yan Cuo took two steps out, but before she reached the classroom, the boy called her: "Let's go home together in the evening. I'll wait for you at the intersection in front of the school."

Yancuo was a little confused: "Huh?" The boy didn't say anything this time and just walked away. Yancuo stood there for a while, not daring to think about whether what he said was true or not.

Why did he want to go home with me? Was it because I saved him last time? But he did help me once, so I shouldn't owe him anything. I shook my head and decided to go back to the classroom. Maybe he was just talking.

The day passed quickly. Yancuo still had some content she didn't understand, so she stayed after school for a while. After all her classmates had left, she packed her bag and left the school.

Yan Cuo was still thinking about the unsolved mathematical formula, with a frown on his face, and he didn't notice a figure walking towards him at the intersection ahead.

Yan Cuo was caught off guard and bumped into him. Yan Cuo was moved to tears by the collision and looked at the person in front of her. Isn't this Yu Muyang? Has he been waiting for her all this time? The boy looked at her and said, "What are you thinking about so intently? You didn't even see me."

Yan Cuo felt a little embarrassed. Yu Muyang was a top student in the school. He certainly couldn't understand why he couldn't figure out such a simple question. After a while, Yan Cuo said, "No, I didn't think about anything." Yu Muyang smiled and said nothing more.

The two of them looked at each other in silence all the way. When they reached the alley, Yan Cuo ran forward two steps and said, "Well, then I'll go back first. Goodbye." The boy looked at her and said, "Goodbye, don't forget to go to school together tomorrow. I'll still wait for you there."

Yancuo opened his mouth, actually wanting him to stop waiting for him, but he didn't say anything. "Okay." He finally responded.

From then on, every morning and evening, there would be two figures walking one after the other. At an age when he didn't understand what love was, Yu Muyang's presence was like a ray of warm sunshine, warming Yan Cuo's cold heart.
