Chapter 4 Let's cheer together

Yan Cuo was lost in thought when he saw a familiar figure in front of him. He was delighted. It was him. Was he waiting for him? Yan Cuo was stunned but didn't dare to go over. The figure strode towards him. Yan Cuo felt his heartbeat suddenly quicken. Was he really waiting for him?

"What are you thinking about? I've been waiting for you for a long time, but you don't come over." He spoke, but she didn't realize that there was a hint of pampering in his words.

"Why are you waiting for me? Don't you have to stay after class every day in the third grade?" He smiled, "I don't have to stay after class today, so I came here to wait for you to go back together. How have you been recently? Is your study going well?" Yan Cuo lowered his head and said a little frustratedly: "Not very good. My English has not improved. I only got 75 points on this test. I'm a little confused and don't know how to study."

"English? I'm good at it. I can lend you my first-grade notes. I hope they'll be helpful. Oh, and I have a lot of English tapes at home. I'll give them to you, too."

Yan Cuo nodded excitedly after hearing this. "Really? Thank you so much. I've heard that you're a top student. I really envy you."

He suddenly raised the corner of his mouth and looked at him: "Look how good you are smiling like this, little girl, you should smile more, there are still many beautiful things in this world." Yan Cuo nodded heavily, "Well, I will definitely work hard and follow your example."

After a long time, he seemed to suddenly think of something: "Little girl, where is your ideal high school?" Yan Cuo looked at him, as if a little embarrassed, "I want to get a strict score, but my current score is simply impossible. Do you think I am dreaming?" After saying that, he smiled a little self-deprecatingly.

He spoke softly, "Yanfen? Me too. I have the high school entrance exam in a few months, and I will fill in my application there. I hope you can come too." Yancuo raised her head and looked at him, "Do you think I can do it?" He suddenly lowered his body and looked into her eyes, "Believe me, you can do it. I will wait for you in Yanfen. Let's work hard together, okay?"

Yan Cuo stared blankly at those eyes, which were clear and bright, as if there were stars twinkling in them, making her unable to say anything bad. "Okay, I'll come, you have to wait for me." The boy smiled and nodded, walking forward.

Yan Cuo followed behind him, but his heart still felt like a deer was beating fast.

The two were walking on the way home, with long shadows behind them. Yan Cuo looked into the distance, and saw thousands of lights, warm and harmonious. Every household had bright lights on, and Yan Cuo couldn't help feeling a little warm in his heart.

Yan Cuo looked at the boy in front of him. Why on earth was he so nice to her? So nice to her that she almost had the illusion that she was falling in love with him.

But I am not worthy of him no matter what. Such a wonderful boy will never be surrounded by people like me.

Yancuo knew he shouldn't fantasize about it, but he couldn't help but feel sad. Did he like her? Yeah, right? Otherwise, why would his heart beat faster every time he saw him?

After calming down, Yan Cuo suddenly strode forward, forcing a broad smile, "I'm almost home, no need to see me off, bye." He turned and left. His voice was behind him: "Okay, I'll give you the notes next time I have time. Bye."

Yan Cuo walked to the depths of an alley ahead, and watched his figure leave. He couldn't help but feel a pain in his heart, as if he was forcing himself to let go, forcing himself not to like him, and not to dare to like him.

After all, this is already very good, and we should be content.

However, in the lonely night, I still couldn’t help crying and wet my pillow.
