He might even affect their performance. Yang Shengjun gritted his teeth, "I'll leave Lu Ye and the others to you. I'll take the rest of the others to escort the commander back."
Without resting, the group prepared to depart immediately. Before leaving, Tang Yue gave Tang Bei several invisibility talismans, saying, "Big brother, if you encounter danger on the road, stick these on. Don't forget the commander."
Tang Bei took it and put it directly into his storage ring. His eyes were filled with worry. "Little sister, be careful."
Tang Yue smiled, "Don't worry, big brother. If this battle goes smoothly, we'll be reunited soon. By then, we might not be far from going home."
Tang Bei always believed what his sister said. Watching them walk away, Tang Yue began to rest; she needed to replenish her strength. She was determined to get what she needed from Base 5.
The pitch-black night did not impair their vision. Chang Yin, Tang Shengkai, and the others raced along the muddy mountain path, sweat streaming down their faces. They relentlessly pursued the tracks left by the fleeing American troops, finally locating the scattered group more than an hour later.

He strode forward, the gun in his hand twitching intentionally or unintentionally, and demanded sharply, "What's going on with you guys? Why are you only arriving now? Where is the others?"
Chang Yin's expression remained unchanged, completely disregarding Blake's suspicions. He stepped forward and replied respectfully, "Reporting, Captain, we encountered some minor trouble on our way here."
We accidentally fell into a trap and it took us some time to escape, which delayed our journey. Chang Yin and the others were indeed in bad shape. But Blake and the others weren't in much better shape either.
Blake snorted coldly, his eyes sweeping over the group: "A trap? I think you're just stalling for time! There are Goddess's people everywhere along the way, who knows if you're colluding with them!" With that, he raised his gun and pointed it at Chang Yin.
Tang Shengkai felt a surge of anger, and his hand unconsciously reached for the gun at his waist. However, he suppressed his impulse and forced a smile: "Captain, you're wrong. We all serve the US military; how could we possibly collude with the Goddess's people?"
If you don't believe me, you can send someone to inspect our equipment and see if there's anything suspicious.
