It's highly likely someone dealing with mortgaged cars.
Yang Biaozi led Lin Yifeng up to the second floor with practiced ease.
When they arrived at the door of a private room, the henchmen sitting outside looked at Yang Biaozi with a hint of doubt in their eyes.
One of the more senior members immediately stood up to greet them warmly.
"Brother Biao! What brings you here!"
"Get up! All of you, get up!"
"Call me Brother Biao!"
The other underlings then stood up and greeted Yang Biaozi.
Yang Biaozi grinned as he looked at the man with a hideous scar on his face and began to exchange pleasantries while carrying his briefcase.
"Hey, didn't you go in this year? How come you're out?"
The scarred man grinned.
"He was released after being detained for two months."
"It's nothing serious."
"The main reason is that Monkey King fished me out; it cost a lot of money."
Yang Biaozi patted the man on the shoulder, offering words of earnest comfort.
"It's good that you're alright."
"I'll settle down and live a peaceful life, find a wife and live a good life."
The scarred man paused for a moment, looking as if he wanted to say something but hesitated.
Yang Biaozi's changes still made him somewhat unaccustomed to them.
Yang Biaozi didn't hesitate either, pushing open the door and entering the room.
The room was more cluttered than the outside. There were five people playing cards inside, with each man accompanied by a hot woman.
Some of them were even playing cards with wicked smiles, occasionally groping the girls next to them for fun.
Among this group, a skinny man with dyed yellow hair was staring menacingly at the card table.
"Open! Open! Open!"
"Leopard! Leopard!"
"leopard!"
"groove!"
"Gan Ning's mother! Are you kidding me?!"
"Am I having such bad luck today?"
The skinny man swore and complained to everyone around him, which made everyone at the table burst into laughter.
Soon, the skinny man took out two stacks of money from the drawer, threw them to the dealer, and greeted Yang Biaozi.
"Biaozi! Why don't you come and play a couple of rounds?"
"I don't like this kind of food, you know that."
Yang Biaozi shook his head and refused, then stood at the door waiting.
The skinny man ordered one of his underlings to take over and whispered something to the guests at the table.
"My friends from the south are here. Everyone, please have some fun. I'll be right back."
After saying this, the skinny man left without forgetting to grab the woman next to him a couple of times before turning around and leading Yang Biaozi out of the room.
Once they reached the corridor, the skinny man led Yang Biaozi straight to the office on the third floor.
After entering the room, he looked at Lin Yifeng and Ye Yuqing behind Yang Biaozi with a hint of doubt in his eyes.
"Biaozi, who are these two?"
Yang Biaozi placed his bag on the desk and sat down on the edge of it.
"Monkey, this is what I told you."
“My brother Feng, and my sister-in-law.”
"I came to see you this time because I need to help them."
Upon hearing this, the monkey was completely stunned.
He had known Yang Biaozi for so many years, and he knew Yang Biaozi's temperament better than anyone else.
Aside from the older generation in the underworld, Yang Biaozi would give him some face; his peers would all call him Brother Biao.
The people who came were clearly younger than Yang Biaozi. Anyone who could be called "brother" and "sister-in-law" by Yang Biaozi must be someone important.
The skinny man, who had seen countless people, sized up Lin Yifeng, but from Lin Yifeng's behavior, he couldn't tell who he was at all.
There are generally only two possibilities for someone to have this kind of attitude.
One type is someone who is nobody, with no background whatsoever.
One type is people they simply can't afford to mess with; the other party doesn't care about people like them at all.
When the skinny man saw Ye Yuqing behind Lin Yifeng, the strong military aura emanating from her made his heart skip a beat.
People from the military?
The skinny man dared not be negligent in the slightest, and even his accent changed to broken Mandarin.
"Hello, Brother Feng."
“You can just call me Monkey, my brother Biaozi.”
"Hello, sister-in-law. Hello, sister-in-law."
Lin Yifeng smiled politely as he looked at the skinny man's strained Mandarin.
"There's no need for that, normal communication is fine."
"It's not a big problem."
After everyone sat down, the skinny man hurriedly went to the refrigerator to get drinks and water and brought them to Lam Yat-fung and Yip Yuk-hing.
Once everything was almost done, the skinny man lowered his voice and probed.
“When Brother Feng came here this time, I heard from Biaozi that he was going to buy a car.”
"Do you have a car you like?"
"I'll go and find out for you."
Yang Biaozi walked beside the skinny man, looking at Lin Yifeng with the same puzzled expression.
Before he came, he hadn't actually asked Lin Yifeng what kind of car he wanted to buy.
Most importantly, based on his understanding of monkeys, there's nothing that the skinny monkey man can't get his hands on, only things Lin Yifeng can't think of.
Lin Yifeng stroked his chin and gave his answer.
"Buy some commercial vehicles for reception purposes."
"Three Crowns and two Audi 100s."
"I'm getting a car that I can drive myself."
After these words were spoken, the room fell into a deathly silence.
Yang Biaozi stared wide-eyed at Lin Yifeng with an incredulous expression.
The skinny man sitting next to him was completely stunned.
Yang Biaozi was shocked because he hadn't expected Lin Yifeng to need so many cars.
The skinny man was shocked because he hadn't expected Yang Biaozi to bring over such a big boss.
He casually mentions buying three Crowns worth 500,000 each and Audi 100s worth 400,000 each.
All this has already cost two million, and that doesn't even include what kind of car Lin Yifeng wants to buy.
