Lou Xiao'e nervously rubbed her hands together, looking at Wang Qiang with unease.
"That's the situation. I've already told you about Xu Damao's matter. You can make up your own decision."
After Wang Qiang finished speaking, he turned to leave.
Lou Xiao'e quickly came over, grabbed Wang Qiang's hand, and pressed him back into his seat.
"Brother Wang, you're the smartest person in this courtyard. Can you give me some advice? What should I do?"
Lou Xiao'e, disregarding everything else, unconsciously moved closer to Wang Qiang.
In fact, her marriage to Xu Damao was out of necessity, as she had no choice but to do so because of her poor family background.
Therefore, she had no feelings for Xu Damao and wanted to take this opportunity to sever ties with him.
"Haha, you're not kidding me, are you?"
Wang Qiang naturally knew that Lou Xiao'e was extremely intelligent, so how could she not think of a way to handle it?
She just didn't want to take that responsibility.
"I did come up with an idea, but I'm afraid people will say I'm kicking someone when they're down."
Lou Xiao'e rubbed her hands, looking somewhat embarrassed.
"Hey, if you have to consider these things, then this matter can't be done."
As Wang Qiang spoke, he bent down and leaned forward.
"Think about it, Xu Damao is already like this, and you still want to continue with him."
Wang Qiang's voice was low, but every word struck Lou Xiao'e's heart.
"I wanted to divorce him, but he's currently in solitary confinement."
Lou Xiao'e seemed somewhat helpless as she casually brushed aside the stray hairs in front of her eyes.
"Well, it's all about human effort. If you're willing, this can definitely be done."
Seeing how resolute Wang Qiang was, Lou Xiao'e couldn't help but nod.
"Then, Brother Wang, what about you?"
Lou Xiao'e paused here, looking at Wang Qiang in front of her.
"You want me to do this for you, don't you?"
"That's not it. There's something else I'd like to discuss with you."
Lou Xiao'e's attitude softened, as if she were flirting with Wang Qiang.
"You see, you're alone too, and I'll be alone after my divorce, so aren't we the same?"
Lou Xiao'e couldn't continue speaking at this point; her face flushed red all the way to her neck.
"Oh, I see, I understand what you mean."
"But this can't be rushed. Things have to be done one step at a time, just like cooking has to be done bite by bite."
Wang Qiang's meaning was clear: let Lou Xiao'e get a divorce first, and we'll talk about the rest later.
"Okay, I'll do whatever you say."
Lou Xiao'e made up her mind: since things had already come to this, she might as well get a divorce first and deal with the rest later.
"Then you should get ready first, and bring the materials with you to the factory tomorrow."
Without waiting for Lou Xiao'e to stop him, Wang Qiang turned and left.
He glanced around out of the corner of his eye and spotted a shadowy figure lurking against the wall.
He originally wanted to say something to stop him, but then he remembered that he had just come out of Lou Xiao'e's room, and if people found out, it would be difficult to explain.
After taking a closer look, he was pretty sure that the figure was his second uncle.
"Okay. I'll figure out how to get it done today, then we'll talk."
Wang Qiang knew that this second uncle was the worst kind of person.
Driven by greed, he not only led people to ransack Lou Xiao'e's home, causing her family to flee overnight;
They even teamed up with the Third Uncle to defeat the First Uncle, and then betrayed the Third Uncle after using him.
With this in mind, Wang Qiang decided to strike first and bring him down.
At this time, the second uncle was unaware that Wang Qiang had already discovered him.
He was secretly pleased that he had caught Wang Qiang and Lou Xiao'e red-handed.
Although Wang Qiang was just a purchasing agent in the factory, he was arrogant and could get his hands on materials that even the factory manager couldn't obtain.
Then there's Lou Xiao'e, beautiful, cultured, and a quintessential lady from a prominent family.
Perhaps out of a natural hatred for the rich, the second uncle looked down on Lou Xiao'e.
Seeing Wang Qiang leave, the second uncle quietly followed him.
Unexpectedly, Wang Qiang did not return to his own room, but went directly to Qin Huairu.
"That kid is pretty good. He didn't let any of the pretty women in the yard go."
Uncle Er was filled with both envy and jealousy. He was determined to find something to do with Wang Qiang and bring him down.
Therefore, he followed Wang Qiang discreetly from a distance.
Wang Qiang secretly glanced behind him out of the corner of his eye. He saw that his second uncle was following.
He chuckled inwardly: "You old codger, looks like you're really going to mess with me. You'll get what's coming to you soon enough."
Wang Qiang had arrived at Qin Huairu's door in just a few steps.
There was a loud knock on the door.
Why are you here?
Qin Huairu was somewhat surprised to see Wang Qiang when he opened the door.
After all, there's always trouble around a widow's door. Knowing that he had leverage over her son, she had no choice but to open the door and let Wang Qiang in.
Wang Qiang entered the room, turned around and closed the door. He then turned back and saw Qin Huairu unbuttoning her shirt.
What are you doing?
Wang Qiang's words surprised Qin Huairu.
"What else could you be doing? Didn't you come here to do that? Take advantage of the fact that they're all gone and get it over with quickly so no one finds out."
Qin Huairu said irritably, while continuing to eat.
"You've misunderstood. I came to see you not because of this. Wait a minute."
As Wang Qiang spoke, he came to Qin Huairu's side.
Qin Huairu subconsciously pulled her coat tighter. She stared at Wang Qiang with wide, bewildered eyes.
Wang Qiang leaned close to her ear and whispered a few words.
Qin Huairu looked troubled, but nodded helplessly.
"It's settled then. After this is over, you have to give me that. I can't let you threaten me for the rest of your life."
Even for the sake of her son Banggeng, Qin Huairu is going all out this time.
Just as Wang Qiang was about to speak, he noticed a shadow reflected in the window and realized it was his second uncle eavesdropping.
So he secretly gave Qin Huairu a wink, and Qin Huairu noticed that the second uncle was eavesdropping.
Actually, she didn't like this second uncle either. He often pretended to care about her, but he also took advantage of her quite a bit.
"I'm sleeping here tonight and I'm not leaving."
Wang Qiang deliberately spoke loudly.
"Take off your clothes and wait for me on the bed."
The old man outside the window overheard this and secretly rejoiced. "Hmph, I knew all along that you, this little widow, couldn't hold out."
"Okay, sure."
It was Qin Huairu's voice, followed by the rustling sound of clothes being taken off.
The second uncle tried to look through the window, but there was no light inside; it was pitch black, and he couldn't see anything.
I could only hear some noises. I could vaguely make out two figures embracing each other.
When I looked again, I heard the bed creaking and the sound of panting.
Uncle Er was secretly pleased.
"This time, we've caught two at once. Let's see what you have to say now."
He wanted to rush in, but then he remembered that he couldn't beat Wang Qiang.
I had no choice but to squat outside and continue listening.
After they fall asleep and make sure Wang Qiang isn't leaving, they'll get more people to rush in and catch them in the act.
But the sounds inside made him feel itchy and scratchy, like a cat scratching at his heart.
"You wait and see how you clean it up later?"
Uncle Er thought angrily to himself.
