Chapter 74 The same trick again, taking all the valuables.

The room was warm and cozy, with temperatures well over 20 degrees Celsius. The woman on the bed was dressed in very simple clothes, covered only by a blanket, with her bare legs exposed.

She looked very young, not like Director Wang's wife. Looking further inside, there was only a little furniture, as the room was very small.

Everything was visible at a glance. Wang Qiang waved to Hu Shengli, and the two left the room. After searching the first floor and finding nothing of value, they sent the men straight to the second floor.

Upon reaching the second floor, I discovered four rooms. Entering the first room, I opened the door and found it to be a study with bookshelves filled with books.

Hu Shengli saw several bottles and jars on the bookshelf, walked over to take a closer look, and whispered to Wang Qiang.

"Godfather, this is a good thing, it's from the Ming Dynasty."

Wang Qiang nodded. "Take it with you when you leave and leave it here for now."

Then they found a safe in a corner, but it was locked.

Wang Qiang signaled to Hu Shengli to make a move.

However, due to their specialized skills, Hu Shengli was unable to open the safe.

"Godfather, you can let me open a coffin, but not a safe."

"It's okay, we'll just take the safe and carry it away in a bit."

After Wang Qiang finished speaking, he turned around and left the study, then went to the second room.

This was a large room facing south. Fortunately, the family didn't have the habit of locking the door, so it opened easily with a gentle push. A large bed was placed in the center of the room.

There was a person vaguely visible on the bed. Wang Qiang concentrated and looked at the bed. There was a woman on the bed, about eighteen or nineteen years old, tall and thin.

She was breathing evenly. She seemed to be fast asleep. Wang Qiang searched the room but found nothing of importance, then quietly withdrew.

When they arrived at the third room, they found that another woman was sleeping there, but she appeared to be between forty and fifty years old, wearing a silk nightgown.

After seeing this, Hu Shengli quietly said to Wang Qiang, "This is Director Wang's wife."

Wang Qiang nodded, and the two found two jewelry boxes in the room containing a lot of gold and silver jewelry. Wang Qiang told Hu Shengli to put everything away and tuck it into his pocket.

They then went to the last room and waited for the door to open.

Wang Qiang recognized the man on the bed at a glance as Director Wang, who was snoring loudly.

And sleeping next to him was a woman who looked to be about twenty-seven or twenty-eight years old. Her hair was disheveled, and her skin was snow-white.

I never expected Director Wang to be like this. He wanted to bring a woman home openly and legitimately, while his own wife was sleeping in the next room. Thinking of this, I felt I couldn't be polite to Director Wang anymore.

Wang Qiang found a secret little safe in his house. It looked like it contained a lot of good stuff. He told Hu Shengli to take the safe with him.

But Hu Shengli tried it and shook his head. Although the safe was relatively small, it was still very heavy. It would be difficult to move, and taking it with him wouldn't be easy.

Wang Qiang told Hu Shengli to go to the study and bring the antiques with him, while he would handle the small safe. After Hu Shengli left, Wang Qiang opened his spatial storage and threw the safe inside.

Then, upon arriving at the study, he found that Hu Shengli had already packed up the antiques. He gestured for Hu to hurry up and leave, saying he would handle the safe in the study himself.

Hu Shengli nodded and knocked as he went downstairs, while Wang Qiang threw the safe into the storage space.

After he went downstairs, he found Hu Shengli. He put the things down by the wall, climbed over the wall himself, used the rope he was wearing to pull the things up to the top of the wall, and then jumped down.

Wang Qiang lightly touched the ground with his toes and leaped out of the courtyard. He then gestured for Hu Shengli to go first. Hu Shengli nodded in agreement and turned to leave.

Wang Qiang then jumped back into the courtyard and found an empty room downstairs. He quietly closed the door and then opened the spatial dimension.

Once inside, the two safes were placed next to the Ruyi Pool.

Wang Qiang first put the small safe aside, then dipped his hands in the Ruyi Pool for a moment. Then he picked up a palm grenade and threw it at the door of the small safe.

Three palm strikes were delivered in quick succession, followed by the sounds of "bang bang bang".

With a sound like thunder, sparks flew from the safe door. When they looked over, the door was bent open, and Wang Qiang rushed forward and ripped it off.

The contents inside were gleaming yellow; upon closer inspection, they turned out to be gold bars. Wang Qiang took them out and counted them—there were a full 20 bars.

Besides these, there were two small boxes inside. Upon opening them, two pieces of ancient jade were found. These two pieces of jade had a simple and unadorned design. They felt cool to the touch, like water. If you smelled them carefully, they had an earthy, earthy odor.

Wang Qiang knew this thing must have come from underground, but he didn't know where Director Wang had gotten it. Wang Qiang put the gold bars aside and tucked the two pieces of ancient jade into his pocket.

Wang Qiang then put the larger safe aside and soaked his hands in the Ruyi Pool again. He could only unleash three palm strikes at a time now, after which he had to soak his hands in the Ruyi Pool.

Just like before, Wang Qiang opened the larger safe. Inside were some cash and some receipts.

Wang Qiang counted the money and found it totaled over 50,000 yuan. This amount left him speechless. At that time, people's wages were generally only a few dozen yuan.

He actually had 50,000 yuan in cash, which was outrageous; it was obvious that the money was ill-gotten. Wang Qiang then looked at the receipts; besides grain coupons, cloth coupons, cotton coupons, there were also industrial coupons, sewing machine coupons, tape recorder coupons, and so on.

Wang Qiang sorted through the receipts. He categorized them by region, keeping the nationwide ones for himself and preparing to give the local ones to Hu Shengli.

"Things are almost all packed up," Wang Qiang said, emerging from the spatial dimension.

Then Wang Qiang remembered seeing several mink coats in the closet of Director Hu's wife's room. Wang Qiang quietly went upstairs to Director Hu's wife's room.

Perhaps it was because the room was too hot. The blanket on Director Wang's wife had slipped to one side, and the hem of her silk nightgown had been turned up to her waist.

Wang Qiang took a closer look. To be fair, Director Wang's wife wasn't bad-looking. Although she was a bit older, her figure hadn't changed.

Wang Qiang walked to the wardrobe, opened it, and threw all the mink coats into the storage space.

Wang Qiang then prepared to leave, but unexpectedly, Director Wang's wife mumbled something in a daze.

"It's so hot here, so-and-so."

Wang Qiang quickly darted to the side, hiding in the darkness. Looking back at the bed, he saw Director Wang's wife, still sleepy-eyed, getting up and casually throwing on a coat. She headed towards the door.
