The base was under martial law, and ordinary people could not move around freely on the streets. Xu Lin was an old acquaintance of the base officials, and with Zhou Pin's connections, the two of them were able to arrive at Sun Wei's house without any obstacles.
Sun Wei had already called home. Grandma Wu and Li Jingjing weren't flustered by his absence all night, but their worry was still very obvious.
