Xu Lin was initially worried that they would be discovered, but it seems that the military personnel were just being perfunctory with this young master and didn't bother to thoroughly investigate.

The building materials market was now fully exposed, but dust was everywhere. The two men, wearing masks, swept through the market again, collecting steel bars, cement, concrete, stones, sand, hollow bricks—basically anything they could find. They didn't finish until dawn, and then quickly drove back.
The special medicine has been taken away, and Xu Lin estimates that this group should leave in the next couple of days. She originally thought they would stay for ten days to half a month. She has to tell Zheng Ming and the others when she gets back, because the itinerary is never finalized.
When they got back to the apartment complex, it was already daylight. The two went straight to find Zheng Ming and the others.
"You two went to see those people last night! Why didn't you take me with you!" Zheng Ming exclaimed in surprise.
"With you being so easily startled, who would feel comfortable taking you along?" Xu Lin said bluntly.
So we can leave in a day or two?
"Yes, do you have enough gasoline? If not, we'll go find some in the next couple of days."
“We brought back a solar-powered electric car, but gasoline is a necessity. Do you have any suppliers?”
“There’s no channel, but the water has receded now. Although the cars in the underground parking lot are all unusable, their fuel tanks should be sealed…” Xu Lin didn’t need to say more; Zheng Ming understood immediately.
And so, the people in Building 3 embarked on their journey to collect supplies once again. The outside temperature was already around 45°C, making it impossible to go out during the day. They decided to go out at night, where it would be cooler and they could avoid being seen.
At 8 p.m., the group arrived at the underground parking lot of a nearby office building. There were still quite a few cars inside, but they were all washed away by the water, and some were even stuck together, making it difficult to open the fuel tank caps.
The car was unusable, so everyone took out tools and forcibly opened the fuel tank cap, then used various buckets they had brought to suck up the fuel.
Xu Lin didn't slack off because there was an endless supply of oil in the space. She continued to suck up oil with everyone else, laying the groundwork for using oil openly in the future, and also checking if there was anything valuable in the car to feed the space.
