Half an hour passed.
Lu Qiqi heard the sound of tree branches breaking. She rubbed her little hands together with anticipation, wondering what kind of meat was coming!
Through the gaps in the bushes and weeds, Lu Qiqi saw two small wild boars with long black hair that had not yet grown tusks.
I was overjoyed; finally, I could eat meat!
The little wild boar offered its nose to drink the spiritual spring water; the hallucinogenic leaves had an anesthetic effect, and Lu Qiqi was waiting for it to faint so she could easily take the spoils.
Unexpectedly, a few more came: one, two, three, four, five, six.
Two adults and four children, wow, this is a whole family coming to the feast!
They made a killing!
Lu Qiqi was secretly delighted; now she could finally have a good, satisfying meal.
Get one big one to eat, and keep the remaining five in the space to eat slowly.
The six wild boars had been thirsty in the forest for who knows how long, and they kept drinking water without stopping.
The first to fall were four baby wild boars that hadn't grown tusks yet. When the two adult wild boars saw the children fall to the ground, they nudged them a few times with their tusks, but there was no reaction.
Lu Qiqi thought to herself, 'Of course there won't be any reaction; she used quite a few hallucinogenic leaves. However, wild boars are large, and this amount won't have much of an effect on them.'
When the two wild boars saw that the child was not moving, they seemed to sense something and ran away.
Lu Qiqi certainly couldn't give them a chance to escape, so she picked up a stone next to her and smashed it hard against the pig's head.
Two wild boars, one after the other, were hit on the head and fell to the ground, screaming and rolling around on the ground. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Lu Qiqi quickly took out a wood-chopping knife from her space and stabbed it hard in the head of one of the boars. One of the wild boars was soon unable to move.
The other wild boar, seeing its companion killed, went completely berserk, rolled around a few times, and immediately charged towards Lu Qiqi.
Knowing that this was not the time for a head-on confrontation, Lu Qiqi quickly ran away in the opposite direction. The wild boar missed its target and crashed straight into a tree.
By the time Lu Qiqi turned around again, the wild boar that had crashed into the tree was already dead.
Looking at the spoils scattered all over the ground, Lu Qiqi was overjoyed and put all the wild boars into her spatial storage.
To prevent them from damaging the cabin and crops, she specially placed the four unconscious kittens in the woods behind the cabin.
They also designated a piece of land in the forest, forbidding them from going anywhere else.
When dividing the area, Lu Qiqi discovered that there were many green fruits in the forest.
She picked one, wiped it on her clothes, and took a bite.
"Ptooey, this is too sour," Lu Qiqi quickly threw away the remaining half of the green fruit.
After leaving the space, seeing that it was still early, Lu Qiqi quickly tidied up the battlefield.
The previous wave of wild boars didn't faint because there weren't enough hallucinogenic leaves.
This time, she used a generous amount of hallucinogenic leaves, hid in her usual spot, and waited for her prey to come to her.
After waiting for about fifteen minutes, Lu Qiqi heard rustling sounds. She guessed that this time it was probably a rabbit or a roe deer.
She peered through the crack.
A sharp gasp escaped my lips as I watched a large, yellow and white tiger leisurely licking the spiritual spring water.
A million thoughts raced through Lu Qiqi's mind. 'She wanted to eat meat, but not such a huge piece! In this tiger's eyes, she was the prey!'
Just as Lu Qiqi's legs were about to go numb from squatting, the big tiger finally fainted. Lu Qiqi took the opportunity to put it back into her space and make it a neighbor to the wild boar cub. Such a big tiger skin is worth a lot of money.
Lu Qiqi, who had returned with a full load, walked back the way she came. She hadn't gone far when she found a man in black lying in front of her.
As Lu Qiqi approached the man, she realized that he was very young, with slightly furrowed brows and a face covered in dust, but that couldn't hide his handsome features.
Lu Qiqi has always been a sucker for good looks, and she immediately made up her mind to save this man.
She knelt down and checked his breath to make sure he was still breathing.
Upon examination, the man's injuries were found to be a deep wound on his thigh, from which blood was still flowing.
Lu Qiqi went into her space and retrieved a pot of spiritual spring water. She fed him a couple of sips, then cleaned his wounds, and finally bandaged them with a strip of cloth, tying a large bow on top.
Lu Qiqi clapped her hands, "Done! Whether you survive or not depends on your fate."
The wound has been bandaged up, but she brought a man back with her. How are we going to explain this?
Lu Qiqi was in a dilemma. She and Lu Yao were already following Lu Dahai. If they were to bring along a burden, not only would the Lu family have objections, but even Lu Dahai would find it hard not to object.
Lu Qiqi thought for a moment, then thought to herself, 'You got a good deal.'
When they were almost at their destination, Lu Qiqi saw Lu Dahai.
Lu Qiqi released the two large wild boars from her spatial storage before calling Lu Dahai over.
Although I'm a little reluctant to part with it, the meat will spoil if it stays in the space for too long, which would be even more of a waste!
Lu Dahai was startled when he saw the two large wild boars. After confirming that Lu Qiqi was alright, he scolded her for going into the forest alone again.
Lu Dahai asked, "Where did these two wild boars come from?"
Lu Qiqi pointed to the man in black leaning against the tree and explained, "He hunted them. These two wild boars suddenly rushed out, and he was injured while saving me."
Lu Dahai looked at the two large wild boars, then at the unconscious man, his displeasure mixed with worry. "This is our savior. We must thank him properly when he wakes up."
Lu Qiqi nodded obediently, thinking to herself, 'Shouldn't I thank you properly?!'
Lu Qiqi's commotion was quite significant, and soon a group of people gathered around her.
"Who hunted such a big wild boar?"
Are you selling this wild boar?
In Lu Dahai's view, these two wild boars were hunted by this stranger, and he couldn't make the decision. Before he could speak, Lu Qiqi laughed and said, "Sell! If you have money, take money; if you don't have money, exchange it for grain. But let me make this clear: wild boar meat is a valuable commodity. Don't try to take advantage of us with a pittance. If anyone dares to do so, don't blame us for kicking them out."
