"Who?" Li Xuanzu's appearance put all the psionicists on high alert.
The reason was simple: until Li Xuanzu made a sound about twenty paces away from them, no one had noticed his arrival.
Not all psionicists are fools; this alone is enough to tell that the other party is not a kind soul.
"Who I am is not important. I don't want to repeat that question a second time." Li Xuanzu did not answer directly. Instead, as if playing around, he gathered a ball of blood mixed with a few drops of essence blood from his hand and threw it on the ground.
The crimson liquid writhed and swelled on the ground, eventually transforming into a blood servant indistinguishable from before, silently and respectfully kneeling on one knee behind Li Xuanzu, awaiting its master's command.
"Damn it, so it was you, you bastard, who created these disgusting monsters!" A fourth-tier psychic, upon witnessing this scene, immediately realized what had happened and angrily cursed at Li Xuanzu.
"This thing killed so many of my brothers! You monster deserve to die!"
The pool of blood exploded instantly, like hot water dripping into a boiling oil pan.
However, not many people spoke up.
Or perhaps, before these people could even speak, two corpses appeared out of thin air on the ground in front of them, and the bright, thin, vivid wounds on their necks were particularly eye-catching.
In the blink of an eye, before they could even see Li Xuanzu's movements, the throats of the two fourth-level "companions" were slit instantly, and they died silently.
"I wasn't joking, I just wanted to lighten the mood. If you don't like it, that's fine. Now, can you answer my question?" Li Xuanzu flicked the blood from his fingertip and spoke again.
This time, however, his tone was much colder.
The scene was completely silent; no one dared to speak or move an inch.
Having learned from the example of those two, the psionicists couldn't even muster the slightest thought of resistance.
If the way this person creates these monsters is so simple and casual, how could they, psionicists who can't even handle a single blood servant, possibly dare to fight Li Xuanzu?
"I, I'll talk!" An older, third-tier psionicist was the first to succumb to the pressure and staggered a few steps toward Li Xuanzu.
"It was an order from the High Pope of the Nordic Region. He gave us a set of words to incite the people of the Dragon Kingdom's capital to rebel. After the rebellion is successful, the gods will grant us new powers."
"How did you manage to get in touch with that so-called Great Pope?"
"It's a dream! He told us all the information in our dream, including the location of the other divine messengers, and even let us feel the power bestowed by the gods." The third-tier psionicist spoke faster, afraid that someone would beat him to it.
"Wait, Odin? Wasn't Asgard destroyed in Norse mythology? What the hell is this?" Since returning from India, Li Xuanzu had made a point of learning about the myths of other regions to solidify his understanding.
"This...I really don't know. That's all I know. I have children and a wife. I don't want to die. Please spare my life. I was really just bewitched!" The third-tier psionicist shook his head frantically after thinking for a while.
Then, with a "thump," he knelt on the ground, his emotions completely broken down.
"What about you? Do you have anything to add? If not, I'll let him go. If you do, and no one adds anything after you finish speaking, you can leave, and the rest of you will die." Li Xuanzu didn't rush to let the third-tier spiritualist leave, but instead ordered the blood servants to escort him.
The remaining psionicists all looked troubled, exchanging glances, but none of them stepped forward.
Clearly, they had received the same information, which had all been told to them by the third-tier psychic in front of them.
These people had different expressions, but without exception, they all deeply hated the kneeling third-tier psionicist.
They only had one chance to survive, but someone else snatched it away, leaving them with only death.
As for resistance?
Putting aside the fact that most of them had already run out of energy, just the fact that they hadn't even seen Li Xuanzu's movements clearly, and that two of their fourth-tier companions had died so inexplicably, meant that no one was willing to waste that time.
It wasn't that they didn't want to fight, but rather that they were willing but unable to. When facing Li Xuanzu, a strange thought arose in their minds.
If we could die so easily, it wouldn't be a bad thing.
