Chapter 23 Enraging the Octopus Monster

"Okay, I promise you, I promise you everything!" Fore touched his chest and then he remembered that he had already given the key to Josh.

Josh understood what he meant and walked to the cages, opened all the cages of the monkeys, lions and leopards, and unlocked the locks on their necks.

[Ding! Gained 60 points of favorability with the monkey, reaching the maximum level.]

[Ding! Gained 100 points of Lion's favorability, reaching the maximum level.]

[Ding! Gained 100 points of favorability with Leopard, reaching the maximum level.]

[Ding! Congratulations, you have completed the side quest of rescuing the little monkey from the circus. ]

[Ding! Congratulations, you have completed the side quest of rescuing the lion from the circus. ]

[Ding! Congratulations, you have completed the side quest to rescue the circus leopard. ]

The dolls behind the cage instantly went into a state of rampage.

Josh quickly summoned the big guys to fight and hold the dolls back, allowing the animals to escape the circus and amusement park successfully.

Alan couldn't help laughing as he watched the little animals leave one after another.

She turned to look at Forle: "Sister, you see, they are actually no different from us, they are all trapped in the circus. Now they and I are going to be free, sister, can you let yourself go too?"

For looked into Alan's eyes. They stared at each other for a while. She suddenly smiled with tears in her eyes: "Okay."

Alan laughed too.

The two NPCs hugged each other and turned into starlight and disappeared.

[Ding! Congratulations, you have completed 100% of the story progress of "Saving Fore's Tortured Soul". ]

"Alan! For!" The octopus screamed in pain. The voice was so human-like that people could hear clearly what she was shouting.

Qiao Xi took back the mermaid heart and reached into his pocket, only to find another piece of equipment that looked like a small pearl.

[Ding! Congratulations, you have successfully captured Forle and obtained a rare item, the Mermaid's Soul-Calming Orb.]

[Ding! Congratulations, you have successfully unlocked 75% of the plot progress of "Saving the Mermaid King". Please keep up the good work. ]

A hint of understanding flashed across Qiao Xi's eyes. It was indeed the case.

She had to go into the water to find the Mermaid King.

Just as Josh was about to jump into the water, the octopus's foot swept towards her.

Qiao Xi failed to dodge in time, fortunately the big guy next to her pulled her away in time, but even so, she was still scratched with only three points of attack power and lost health.

[Warning, the player has 1 health point left, please keep a distance from the violent monsters. New players do not have any protective items, and will be killed directly if they die in the game.]

Qiao Xi's mouth twitched slightly. It was really... One knife 99.

However, the octopus was preventing her from entering the water.

That's really sharp.

The octopus was afraid that she would release the mermaid king from the bottom of the water.

Josh looked at the octopus.

Octopuses can't see, so how do they sense things? Does it rely on wind direction?

Or the sound?

The octopus roared violently, and a strong red light burst out around its body.

Huang Erbai felt horrified: "What's going on?"

The octopus' body grew several times larger, and its tentacles continued to grow thicker, larger, and longer.

Josh huddled in the big guy's arms, dodging the attack while lying casually: "The soul of Forle's mother merged with the soul of the octopus in this octopus. After Forle and Alan disappeared, it went berserk."

The tentacles began to attack others.

Josh ordered, “Follow my instructions, kill this octopus, and the remaining props will burst out of her body.”

A hint of murderous intent flashed across Huang Erbai's eyes: "Foul died just now, so the props should have exploded, right? Give me the props first!"

Qiao Xi smiled and said, "If we don't kill the octopus, do you think we have a chance to leave alive? There is time for conflict, so why not deal with the external enemies first? There is no rush to distribute the equipment."

Qian Duobao also nodded: "Yeah, why should we grab equipment now? If this octopus fights five of us alone, we may not survive."

Huang Erbai didn't listen at all. He sneered and said, "As long as I get the last piece of equipment, I don't care about your octopus. I will advance directly and leave!"

Qian Duobao and Lu Mao each have only one piece of equipment, so they both hope to kill the octopus to get the equipment.

Huang Erbai and Zhu Yongchang are different. They already have two pieces of equipment in their hands. As long as they can snatch the equipment from Qiao Xi, they don’t have to face the octopus’ attack at all.

The two men approached Josh tacitly.

Josh curled his lips, still worried that they wouldn't come.

She quickly jumped off the big guy and moved towards the two men.

The big guy was obviously stunned for a moment, and a look of surprise flashed across his face.

The comments were also shocked: [Does she want to die? How dare she waste her 1 health point? ]

[In the novice copy, if you die, you are really dead. There is no resurrection card. ]

[Who knows what she wants to do? It's really speechless. I don't know what she is wasting time on. She should have left when the three pieces of equipment were combined.]

[Yeah, it's so annoying. What on earth does she want to do? ]

Behind Qiao Xi, the tentacles followed closely, and in front, Huang Erbai and Zhu Yongchang were attacking her.

Just when Huang Erbai's knife was about to slash towards Qiao Xi's neck, Qiao Xi paused and avoided the attack with an extremely strange and incredible posture.

Huang Erbai and Zhu Yongchang naturally knew what she wanted to do. Wasn't it that she wanted to use their own strength to deal with the octopus?

Unfortunately, they are not stupid.

The two quickly moved away, only to see the octopus coming straight towards them.

Josh curled his lips and guessed right again.
