After receiving some guests, Xu Jianguo noticed Xu Chen and Deputy District Chief Wang sitting together. He walked over, puzzled, and asked, "Xu Chen, Yuanchao, what's going on here?" Late at night, Xu Chen and Xu Jianguo returned home together. Xu Nan and Wang Rong were still in the living room organizing the baby supplies they had just bought. As soon as Xu Jianguo entered, he loudly announced, "Wife, our son has a girlfriend!" Wang Rong was naturally overjoyed to hear this and pulled Xu Chen aside to ask him all sorts of questions. Xu Chen answered them all without reservation. The family then discussed how to entertain Wang Li's family before falling into a deep sleep.
