At the early childhood education center, the two picked up Wang Zhi after her class. She came out of the door with a sad face, but upon seeing her sister, she rushed into her arms like a fledgling swallow returning to its nest. Wang Li patted little Zhi'er's back and said softly, "Little Zhi'er, your brother Chen and I will take you to play today." Little Zhi'er's face lit up, and she asked Xu Chen, "Brother, can we go to the amusement park?" Xu Chen picked her up, "Yes, I'll grant all your requests today." Wang Zhi was overjoyed, shouting "Long live brother!" The group got into the car and headed to the amusement park. On the way, Xu Chen said to Wang Li, "Lili, it's time to learn to drive; it's been delayed for too long." Wang Li nodded, "Let's register at driving school tomorrow, Chenchen." Xu Chen agreed, hugging little Zhi'er and pinching her cheek. The two played together, and Wang Li felt a warm glow in her heart seeing this.
"Sister, I want to ride the Ferris wheel!" Wang Zhi pointed at the huge Ferris wheel and kept pleading with Wang Li. Wang Li patted her head. "Okay, but little Zhi'er, don't cry when you get up there." Wang Zhi put on a "I won't cry" look, which Xu Chen and Wang Li found very amusing. After buying their tickets, they boarded the Ferris wheel. Slowly, the Ferris wheel rose to the top. Xu Chen looked at the bustling amusement park below and the vibrant city in the distance, then turned to Wang Zhi and said, "Little Zhi'er, what do you say those two characters?" He pointed to the large characters on a building in the distance, wanting to test Wang Zhi. Wang Zhi tilted her head and looked at the characters, then said somewhat shyly, "Brother, I haven't learned these characters yet." Xu Chen patted her head but didn't say anything more. Wang Li whispered to Xu Chen, "Look..." "Chenchen, you really like Xiaozhi'er." Xu Chen nodded. "Of course, Lili, when we have children, we must have girls. I think little girls are all very cute." Wang Li blushed and said somewhat shyly, "Who knows if it'll be a girl or a boy? It's hard to say." Xu Chen took her hand. "Then let's try our best. If the first one isn't a girl, we'll have the second. If the second one isn't, we'll have the third. I don't believe our luck will be that bad." Wang Li playfully punched Xu Chen lightly. "Chenchen, what nonsense are you talking about? Do you want to exhaust me?" Xu Chen said softly, "Because I will only have you as my partner for the rest of my life, so I can only trouble you." Wang Li turned her head and nodded gently. Xiaozhi'er, standing to the side, stared blankly at the two of them. What were her older sister and brother talking about? Why was her sister's face red? Her little head was full of endless questions. After getting off the Ferris wheel, the two took Xiao Zhi'er to the bumper cars. Xiao Zhi'er's face turned red with excitement, and she said to her sister, "Sister, go bump into brother!" Wang Li did as she was told, speeding up and bumping into Xu Chen. Xu Chen immediately retaliated, and the group had a great time.
As the group got out of the car and walked out of the venue, Xiao Zhi'er suddenly grabbed Xu Chen and Wang Li's arms tightly. Xu Chen was puzzled, exchanged a glance with Wang Li, and then squatted down to look at Xiao Zhi'er, saying, "Xiao Zhi'er, are you feeling unwell?" Xiao Zhi'er shook her head, her eyes fixed on a distance away, occasionally shrinking behind Wang Li. Xu Chen and Wang Li followed Xiao Zhi'er's gaze and saw a young woman in the distance, seemingly playing with a child at the playground. Xu Chen, puzzled, turned to Xiao Zhi'er and asked, "Xiao Zhi'er, do you know her?" Xiao Zhi'er nodded and whispered, "Brother, she's my teacher." Xu Chen said softly, "Then, Xiao Zhi'er, shall we go over and say hello to our teacher?" Xiao Zhi'er shook her head violently and said excitedly, "No, I..." "Don't greet her, she'll hit me, she's a bad teacher." With that, Xiao Zhi'er's eyes welled with tears, as if she were about to cry. Xu Chen stood up and said to Wang Li, "No wonder she was so sullen when she came out of the early education class." Wang Li nodded guiltily, looked at her little sister's arm, and found no marks. Lifting her little sister's short sleeve, she saw several clear bruises on her stomach, as if she had been hit with a ruler. Xu Chen's face turned pale when he saw this, and he said angrily to Wang Li, "We can't let this woman get away with this." Wang Li nodded, and Xu Chen continued, "Lili, take Xiao Zhi'er home first." Wang Li understood that he was going to investigate. "Okay, Chenchen, remember to tell me when you find any evidence." Xu Chen nodded, watching Wang Li take the sullen Xiao Zhi'er home. He then turned and headed towards the early education class he remembered.
Ten minutes later, Xu Chen got out of the car at the entrance of the early childhood education center. The class had ended, and the door was locked. Xu Chen looked at the locked door, wanting to smash it open, but refrained. Xiao Bai said softly, "I've sent the surveillance footage that might be useful to you to your phone. A lot of it was deleted, but I've restored it all." Xu Chen was stunned for a moment, then said gratefully, "Thanks, Sister Xiao Bai." He then turned and left. He had been somewhat angry and forgotten about Sister Xiao Bai; otherwise, he wouldn't have taken the car all the way here. At this moment, a young woman... As she entered the early childhood education center, she saw a young man emerge from inside. She asked warily, "Who are you? What are you doing in there?" Xu Chen sized her up. "You look like a mean person." He slowly said, "I came to pick up my child, but I found out her sister took her away." Xu Guifen, upon hearing this, realized he was referring to Wang Zhi, who was often picked up by her sister. Her expression immediately became unnatural. "You mean Wang Zhi? She was just picked up by her sister, so if there's nothing else, please leave." Xu Guifen said, her tone fierce but her voice weak. Xu Chen pondered for a moment, then said angrily, "You think we don't know you abused my little Zhi? You think hitting her in the stomach is okay? You're too naive!" Xu Guifen's face turned panicked, and she said awkwardly, "What do you mean I abused her? What evidence do you have to prove I abused her?" Xu Chen recounted, word by word, when and where Xu Guifen had abused Wang Zhi, such as which day in her nap bed, which day next to the small dining table, etc., perfectly matching Xu Guifen's memory.
