"Hey, no, you can't!"
Lin Jingyu suddenly stopped her, "That's so impolite, she's a young girl."
She has long, soft, and fluffy hair, which, combined with her delicate natural makeup, makes her look like a lovely girl who stepped out of a magazine.
Wen Shu was hiding inside the hood when she suddenly noticed someone approaching near the air vent.
She saw a slight upturn at the corners of her lips, and a cheerful voice came from behind her, "Are you secretly in love with him? I always seem to run into you."
Wen Shu was taken aback.
Lin Jingyu quickly moved away from the vent, turned around and took Li Duo's arm, "He was just saying it casually, why are you so fierce?"
Li Duo frowned, glancing at the oblivious bunny girl. "You like it, don't you? It's fine if you don't try it on. It's been worn by someone else; it smells of sweat..."
As they spoke, the two stopped at the entrance of the Golden Summit Club and waved to the fans outside, eliciting screams.
Lin Jingyu's every move elicited screams and shouts from fans.
She slightly raised her eyes and glanced at the bunny girl below the steps.
She's an excellent actress. Her specialty is observing and understanding different characters. She could spot the bunny girl's walking posture at a glance.
"How is your female employee performing at the company?" Lin Jingyu suddenly asked.
Li Duo paused, "That female employee?"
Lin Jingyu tilted her head and glanced at him, then said coquettishly, "Who else could it be? It's the female employee you arranged to go to the airport to distract the media."
Li Duo slightly raised his eyes. "Why bring her up?"
Lin Jingyu smiled, a bright and innocent smile spreading across her face, "You haven't answered my question yet."
Li Duo replied, "Just an employee, I don't remember him."
Lin Jingyu then smiled with satisfaction.
Wen Shu stood on the steps, and despite the noise around her, she clearly heard Li Duo's words.
She chuckled to herself, quickly adjusted her mindset, and then, to the rhythm of the music around her, joined the others and danced joyfully.
Six hundred a day!
At the Li Group Building, Li Duo Building, after finishing his meeting, Li Duo passed by the secretary's office. Out of the corner of his eye, he glanced at an empty seat and couldn't help but frown.
He reached out and knocked on the secretary's office door. "Wen Shu, are you taking the day off?"
Gao Ya was taken aback. "President Li, Wen Shu has been gone for three days..."
Li Duo's pupils contracted, and he asked sternly, "Who approved her resignation?"
Gao Ya was taken aback again. "Huh? Assistant Jin said that you felt she was not competent for the assistant job and had her resign."
Li Duo turned around, "Jin Chao!"
Jin Chao quickly appeared in the general manager's office: "President Li, you wanted to see me?"
Li Duo sat behind his desk with a gloomy face: "Who gave you permission to approve Wen Shu's resignation?"
Jin Chao asked in surprise, "President Li, didn't you tell her to leave?"
"When did I let her leave?"
Jin Chao: "..."
He gasped. "Three days ago, I ran into her at the elevator. She had packed up her things at the company and said that you asked her to settle her salary up to that day..."
Li Duo froze, suddenly remembering that night when he told her to go to the finance office to collect the money the next day...
Li Duo took out his phone and called her, only to find that the number was not in service.
Li Duo slammed his fist on the table: "Call her and tell her that if she doesn't come to work today, the company will sue her for breach of contract and demand triple damages."
Jin Chao immediately made a phone call, "President Li, I can't get through to her."
Li Duo clenched his fists, then suddenly laughed in anger.
What a coward!
As the new plaza opened, a gray rabbit doll was dancing merrily to music, light and agile.
A group of children followed behind, chanting, "Little bunny! Little bunny!"
Wen Shu loves children; seeing them makes her happy. She bends down and leads them around the square, like a mother rabbit with a group of little rabbits.
As the rabbit turned the corner, it bumped into someone. "I'm so sorry!"
The man stood still. When Wen Shu looked up and saw his face, she turned and ran.
Li Duo took two steps to catch up: "Wen Shu!"
He grabbed Wen Shu's arm. "We're over!"
Li Duo gripped her arm tightly. "Who told you it was over?"
"I've taken the money, returned the things, and you were the one who initiated the breakup. I was also fired by you, so we're even..."
"Are you going to say this here, or somewhere else?"
"I'm at work, let me go!"
"Go to work? You've been absent from work for three days without cause. If you don't return to the company today to explain, the company has the right to fire you and demand three times the amount of the penalty for breach of contract!"
Wen Shu's struggling hand froze: "You fired me, why do you want me to pay three times the amount in compensation?"
"I'm giving you money to pay for your trip to the airport!"
With people watching nearby, Li Duo, fearing she would cause another scene, asked, "Are you sure you want to say this here?"
Fifteen minutes later, Wen Shu sat in Li Duo's car and said expressionlessly, "I signed the papers, so I'm resigning."
Li Duo loosened his tie. "Resignation is a matter for HR. What you signed in the finance office was for reimbursement."
Wen Shu pursed her lips. "Anyway, I'm resigning."
"If you're not afraid of losing money, then don't go back!"
Wen Shu turned her head angrily: "Mr. Li, what exactly do you want? Is it fun to bully a woman?"
Li Duo forcefully pulled her into his arms, saying, "I told you, only I can end this. You have no right to..."
Wen Shu chuckled. "Where's Miss Lin Jingyu? You don't treat me like a human being, but what do you take her for?"
Li Duo abruptly pressed her down onto the car seat. "Didn't I warn you not to mention her name?"
Wen Shu was pinned down by him and couldn't move. She stared into Li Duo's eyes, and the bigger her smile became, the more tears she shed.
"She's noble, she's amazing. Will she get tainted if I say her name?"
Wen Shu shouted at him, "Lin Jingyu! Lin Jingyu! Lin Jingyu! I'm going to shout anyway, what can you do about it?"
Li Duo stared into her eyes, which were bright and beautiful, and the hatred in them was obvious.
Li Duo's gaze fell on her lips, their natural color glossy, her lips moving up and down, deliberately provoking him.
He grabbed her wrist and suddenly pressed his lips against hers.
Wen Shu twisted her wrist suddenly, but he grabbed it firmly.
The car window shutters were lowered, and the driver got out of the car as well.
Wen Shu relentlessly twisted her wrist.
"Smack!"
She finally broke free of one of his wrists and slapped him across the face.
Li Duo's head was knocked to the side, and he slowly turned his head to look at her.
After Wen Shu finished hitting him, her palms were a little numb. She felt a lingering fear, but she still maintained a cold expression as she stared at him.
You deserve it!
Li Duo reached out and tugged at her clothes, "You asked for this!"
"asshole……"
Wen Shu's screams were choked off, and she quickly lost her voice. Her struggles gradually weakened, and in the end, she could only whimper.
Li Duo let out a long, comfortable sigh.
He hadn't touched her for three days.
