She quickly pulled it out of her pocket. "Oh, and I'll take your tie clip too."
Li Duo glanced at the tie clip she was holding in her hands and sneered, "Is it that much of an eyesore to you?"
Wen Shu hurriedly shook her head: "President Li, you're being too kind. This thing looks very expensive, and I'm afraid I won't be able to afford to pay for it if I lose it."
Seeing that he wouldn't take it, Wen Shu had no choice but to take matters into her own hands and clip it to his tie.
She patted him gently and gave him a pleading look.
When Li Duo met her gaze, he suddenly thought of Bi Xueqing's hairpin.
Are you afraid I'll accuse you of stealing?
Wen Shu still didn't respond to him. "President Li, let's talk about it tomorrow. It's getting late."
She had already yawned several times; it was past 1 a.m., and she was really too tired.

Li Duo interjected coldly, "What does it matter whether others are well or not? As long as Second Madam is happy, that's all that matters."
Wen Shu choked, then forced a smile, "Grandma is fine, thank you for your concern."
Wen Shu knew it had nothing to do with the nanny; she was also a paid employee.
The nanny smiled and said, "It's getting late, young master, you should go back and rest early."
Li Duo nodded. "Let Second Madam go to sleep early. I'll go back now."
Li Duo didn't even glance at Wen Shu, and walked away without looking back.
Wen Shu stood there, secretly relieved.
The nanny glanced into the room, reached out to close the door, walked to Wen Shu's side, and whispered a reminder: "Miss, some flowers grow in mud. If someone goes to pick them and falls in, they won't be able to climb out."
Wen Shu was taken aback at first, then realized what the nanny was talking about.
"Thank you for your concern, Auntie."
The nanny held her hand, her eyes filled with satisfaction. "If you didn't have children, you could have found a good husband. It's a pity you can only marry a divorced man now."
Wen Shu smiled and said, "Thank you, Auntie. It's getting late, you should get some rest."
The nanny smiled and nodded, her face full of affection, "Yes."
These past few days I've seen her running around taking care of the elderly and the children, and she hasn't even missed work. She's truly a capable person, handling everything inside and outside the home.
She is both filial and sensible, which her caregiver has long noticed.
