Just as she was about to lie down, Wu Chen suddenly reached out and pulled her tightly into his arms. With a roll, before Lu Qing could even cry out, the two of them tumbled off the bed.
A streak of light slashed in through the window, and with a loud crash, the bed was split in two.

As the two stepped out of the house, they found Yu Jitang and Qi Ying already engaged in a fierce fight with their opponents in the courtyard.
There were five people on the other side, all dressed in black and masked, making it impossible to discern their appearances. They were attacking the two of them with all their might, seemingly ready to fight to the death. Lu Qing watched, itching to join in. "Should I go up and give it a try?"
Wu Chen was unsure of her current skills, so he quickly pressed her down, saying, "Take a look first, then you can make a move."
When the man in black saw that his sneak attack on Wu Chen had failed, he simply threw a bullet. A thick smoke billowed out, and when the smoke cleared, the men were gone.
Yu Jitang was furious, his eyebrows furrowing in anger. "Where did this scoundrel come from, daring to attack us? I'm going to chase after him right now."

Manager Xu helped them move to another courtyard and then left in a hurry.
Yu Jitang had calmed down by now and said in a low voice, "The person who came deliberately concealed their skills and we can't tell their background."
Qi Ying nodded as well.
After listening to the commotion outside for a while, Wu Chen whispered, "Anyone could be at risk of attacking us right now. The Zou family's actions are so significant; they must have a backup plan.
