Chapter 67 Wedding How could I marry a pauper

Chapter 67 Wedding How could I marry a pauper

Seville's expression remained unchanged, but he continued to cut the apple pie in front of him with a knife.

There was a crackling sound, a sound of breaking the apple pie crust. The silver knife cut through the crust, and when it was lifted up, it brought out amber-colored sticky applesauce, which fell gently back onto the plate.

Darien just lowered his head to drink the white wine in the glass, but he lifted his feet more and more wantonly, and they had passed his calves and stepped on the chair between his knees, and then he lifted them up again and stepped on his knees.

Then he outlined the inner thighs. When he was about to get more outrageous, Sewell picked up the napkin on his legs, wiped his hands calmly, crumpled the napkin into a ball, and grabbed Darien's ankles.

"Time for apple pie," Sewell said with a smile.

He did not let go of Darien's ankle, but stopped his toes from moving forward. Then he stretched his fingers inside, picked up the cotton socks wrapped around his ankle, and slowly stroked the skin.

The fingers that touched his skin were covered in a thin layer of calluses, and the touch was so light that Darien couldn't help but flinch, wanting to kick him back.

Sewell didn't let go. His five fingers clasped Darien's ankles tightly like shackles, preventing him from breaking free.

"Let go." Darien's face was filled with anger, with a thin layer of red climbing from his ears to his cheeks. Even he himself couldn't tell whether he was more embarrassed or angry.

"Kiss me and let me taste if you are as sweet as apple pie, my dear fiancé." Seville said with a smile.

Although they were re-enacting the false memory together as recorded in the diary, Sewell was much more immersed in it than Darien, and he was happy to get a kiss.

Darien was filled with rage. He felt that he was actively letting the dead crow in front of him take advantage of him, but in order to end this situation, this was what he had to do.

What’s even more frustrating is that even after doing all this, you may not be able to get out.

"I hope you can really do it." Darien said.

He propped himself up, leaned over, pecked the corner of Seville's lips, and then quickly dodged.

Luckily, the diary didn't detail how they kissed, didn't specify whether it was a deep kiss or a light peck, and Darien did it in a very perfunctory manner.

It should have been over here, they could have eaten the apple pie and left, but Sewell didn't let go.

"You can let go now." Darien kicked him hard with his free foot.

"I didn't promise to let go after the kiss." Sewell said calmly.

"You are so shameless," said Darien.

"I can be even more shameless." Sewell chuckled.

Before he finished speaking, his fingers moved up from the ankle and gently began to touch Darien's calf. The thin calluses on his fingertips rubbed his skin sorely. A feeling of loss of control swept over Darien, making him feel at a loss all over.

Seville is so shameless!

Crash!

The apple pie had to be served as an ending and could not be put on the face of this shameless crow, but the wine in the glass could be used freely. Half a glass of wine directly soaked Seville into a drowned rat.

Darien's ankle was finally released, and the waiter closest to them hurried over, trying to ease the atmosphere as much as possible to prevent the table from being overturned.

Darien had a sour look on his face, waved his hands and said, "It's okay, we just have a little conflict, we can solve it ourselves, and we will only call you if we need you."

The waiter smiled awkwardly and handed Sewell a hot towel for wiping his hands. "I'm glad the guests are alright. Sir, please wipe yourself first."

With the wine dripping down his brow and onto his collar, Sewell took the towel graciously and nodded, "Thank you. This is just a little fun between us. Your meals are all very well prepared. Don't worry."

The waiter hurriedly retreated, thinking that you are actually more worrying, because the expression on your partner's face looks like he wants to kill someone!

Darien had a sour face and kicked the stinky crow's calf hard under the table, only to vent a little of his anger.

Seville wiped the wine off his face and then wiped his collar. Fortunately, Darien's glass was filled with white wine, and the color was not very obvious when it spilled on his shirt, making him less embarrassed.

"Eat quickly, we'll leave after you finish." Darien picked up the fork and poked a piece of apple pie into Seville's mouth, as if he wanted to choke him to death.

Seville opened his mouth and ate it, then cut off a piece and handed it to Darien.

Darien ate with his eyes fixed on him, chewing with a remarkably loud sound, as if he were chewing charcoal-roasted crow.

After completing the task of feeding each other apple pie, you can leave the Berlun Restaurant and head to the next location.

After getting on the carriage, they rushed to the Gem Chamber of Commerce.

Darian still prefers the next arrangement. No one would dislike inheriting property, especially property that is obtained without work.

But now it cannot be said that it is something for nothing. Darian feels that he has paid a lot of face and shame.

After arriving at the Gem Chamber of Commerce, Darian went straight to the office, and Seville lagged behind by many steps.

Darien walked too fast and didn't have the key to the office door, so he paced back and forth impatiently in front of the door, waiting for Sewell to come up slowly and take out the key to open the door.

It was really testing his patience.

"How much money do you have?" Darien asked Sevier.

"I have no money. I'm a pauper." Sewell said as he opened the door.

"Really? I don't believe it." Darien was skeptical. "If you don't have money, how do you pay the bill?"

"I'm using your money, dear." Sewell opened the door. "Come in."

"Why would I marry a pauper?" Darien muttered to himself as he stood at the door.

"Because we signed a property transfer agreement. My money is yours, and your money is still yours." Sewell was teasing him just now, and now he slowly told him the truth.

"They're all fake, no better than a pile of waste paper." Darien came back to his senses and said expressionlessly.

"But you can still buy things, right? Do you like gems? I have a lot of them in my office." Seville said with a smile.

"Why didn't I realize you were such a jerk before." Darien walked into the office.

He had been here before. The bookshelf wall behind the desk was filled with some books and ornaments, which was not very tempting.

"Because I hid it well?" Sewell said casually with a smile.

Darien took the office chair, and Sewell took out a piece of parchment from the drawer next to him, unscrewed the ink cap, dipped the quill pen and began to draft the document.

"I voluntarily give all my property to my future husband, Darien..." Darien read, "How much property do you have?"

"This office we are in, all the jewels and my savings in the bank, two carriages and eight horses, and the house near the river." Sewell almost finished writing, signed his name and stamped it before handing it to Darien.

"How much would it be in gold coins?" Darien took it and signed his name.

"Let me calculate...it's about 13.5 million gold coins. It's just a rough estimate, not counting the small amounts." Seville said after calculating.

"So rich, it's a pity it's fake, otherwise I could have splurge a bit." Darien sighed.

"We can go spend all this money now." Sewell put the document away.

"Show me your gem," Darien said.

Seville opened the secret cabinet under his desk and took out several velvet boxes of various sizes. He opened them one by one and showed them to Darien.

"Most of the stones here are loose stones. The set jewels are in the bank's safe. If you want to see them, we can go there when we buy wedding supplies." He said as he opened it.

"Okay, these are all mine. I want to set them all on my coat. I want to wear this brooch now." Darien picked up a huge sapphire brooch and pinned it on his collar.

"Okay." Sewell nodded.

Since the entire building was his property, Darian decided to sell it all out. He took away all the gems, not for any other reason, but just to experience the feeling of sleeping in money.

Seville followed behind him, holding all the looted gem boxes for him, like a very dedicated follower.

Darian's mood became very good. Anyone who got a large sum of money would be in a good mood, and he would spend the money next.

There are many things to prepare for a wedding, and it is difficult to prepare them all in just half an afternoon and an evening, but as long as you pay more, nothing is impossible.

"Gentlemen, do you want these two suits tomorrow morning? And they have to be inlaid with gems? This is impossible!" said the owner of the largest tailor shop in town.

Several seamstresses behind her shook their heads.

"I have money, I'm very rich. I'm willing to pay each of you one hundred gold coins as long as you make these two dresses tomorrow morning." Darien is now rich and powerful, and his first move is shocking.

"This, this..." The boss's tongue was tied.

"Isn't that enough? One hundred and fifty gold coins, two hundred gold coins, two hundred and fifty gold coins..." Darien raised his price like bidding, as if these gold coins were picked up from the ground.

"Yes! Of course!" The boss suddenly came to his senses.

All the seamstresses around came over as well. The money was a lot and they were all very tempted.

Darien spent his money happily and headed to the next place.

Next, he purchased a wedding cake inlaid with pearls and diamonds, a jeweled carriage and eight white horses without a single hair on their bodies, a group of cooks poached from the restaurant, roses for wedding decorations, and a lot of other things that were both useful and unnecessary.

If it were for the lack of time, Darien would like to buy some houses. As for why, it is because he wants to buy everything now that he has money.

Darian had a great time because he didn't have to repay his debts and could spend money everywhere.

Seville didn't say anything, and watched Darien spend money like water with a relaxed expression. Isn't this the moment he made money for? Because of spending money, Darien was willing to smile at him.

They strolled until night, and Darien felt so tired that he stopped spending money and asked the carriage to take them home.

"Oh, I really hope I can live like this forever." Darien couldn't help but sigh in the carriage.

"Of course you can live like this forever as long as you want," Sewell said, leaning closer.

"No, I don't." Darien rolled his eyes at him. "I just like spending money. I have no interest in you."

"That's really sad." Sewell frowned slightly.

"Stop pretending, you're not human." Darien wouldn't buy it. "Just wait until we get out. I'll settle the score."

"We're getting married tomorrow, and it breaks my heart to say that," said Sewell.

"Oh." Darien responded indifferently, then turned to look out the window.

After returning home, Darien took a comfortable hot bath. When he returned to the room, he saw Sevier in a bathrobe sitting by his bed waiting for him.

"This is my room," Darien reminded him.

"I know. Do you want to hear a bedtime story? You said I would read you a bedtime story every night." Seville's expression was full of anticipation.

"That's true, but I don't want to listen today. I'm very sleepy and I want to go to bed now." Darien rejected the request.

Before Sewell could ask why, Darien quickly kicked him out of the room.

There was no reason, because this crow had a criminal record of secretly asking for a goodnight kiss while he was sleeping. After losing his memory, Seville became even more unscrupulous. Who knew what he would do while he was asleep.

Must be driven away!

Sewell was kicked out of the door along with his carefully selected storybooks, and he looked a little lonely and pitiful.

Darien closed the door, thought for a moment, then opened it again and said, "Go to bed early. You must be in the best condition for the wedding tomorrow. I hope it will be a perfect wedding."

Sewell immediately smiled: "Of course."

Darien closed the door and locked it, completely blocking Sevier out.

The night passed quickly, and the next morning the tailor shop delivered the wedding dress that had been worked on overnight. As Darian wished, it was inlaid with many gorgeous gems, and the visual effect when worn would be very similar to that of a peacock spreading its tail.

Darien didn't mind being a peacock at all, spreading all her sparkle to anyone who saw the dress.

The servants in the whole house and the newly hired chefs were very busy. Their masters had no idea what was wrong with them and were determined to hold another wedding. This wedding was very grand and there were so many things to do.

After breakfast, Darien and Sevier, dressed in gorgeous and luxurious jeweled gowns, were taken in equally gorgeous carriages to a nearby church where their relatives and friends were already waiting.

"Why did they get married again? How did we get here?" Mrs. Fitch, wearing a cake hat on her head, asked her husband with a puzzled look.

"They said they wanted everyone to witness their happiness again. I don't know how we got here, dear, it seems like we were here as soon as we opened our eyes." Fitch replied.

The other guests had the same doubts.

But it doesn’t matter, it doesn’t affect their gazes at the newcomers entering the venue.

Darien was already standing at the altar, waiting for Sewell to walk in from the church door, stand beside him and take the marriage vows.

The wedding music played, and Seville walked in with a smile, holding a bouquet of roses made of jewels.
