Chapter 90 Kiss Me Debt Donkey

Chapter 90 Kiss Me Debt Donkey

The captured ghost curled up tighter, looking pitiful, as if Darien was a bad guy who imprisoned innocent ghosts.

"Finally we've caught this bad guy. What should we do with him?" asked Mrs. Fitch.

"Of course, as I said before, I turned him into a donkey." Darien's smile was particularly sinister. "Sevier, go calculate our losses."

"Okay, master." Sewell nodded, still holding the bouquet of wild flowers in his hand. Before settling the bill, he went to find a beautiful clay vase to put the flowers in.

The damage caused by the ghost to the farmhouse included but was not limited to a pound of cherries, half a pound of figs, a cantaloupe, three tomatoes, two ramie curtains, three clay vases... as well as the materials spent on capturing the ghost and the labor cost of cleaning the room.

After calculation, Sewell concluded that the ghost needed to repay them 31 silver coins and 17 copper coins.

"It's a little less than I thought, but he can't pay it back even if I sell him." Darien crossed his arms and glared at the ghost.

"I, I have a reason for doing this." The ghost holding his head said weakly.

"Tell me about it," Darien said.

"This is my home, but after I died, someone occupied it. I didn't want anyone to live here, so I did this," said the ghost.

"No wonder the rent here is only 5 silver coins a day, half the price of other farmhouses around here." Darien suddenly realized.

"So can you please let me go? I'm just trying to protect my home." The ghost said pitifully.

"No." Darien refused coldly, "Can you compensate me for my losses?"

"No." The ghost thought for a long time and finally said, "I don't have any money."

"If you can't do it, just work for me and pay me back. You can leave when you pay me back." said Darian.

"What are you going to do to me?" the ghost said in horror.

"I'm going to turn you into a donkey and send you to a nearby village to work the millstone to pay off your debt," Darien said. "Sevier, please bring me some parchment and ink. You have them, right?"

"Of course, my dear master." Sewell placed emphasis on the last few words, which sounded particularly ambiguous to those who were paying attention.

Darien felt his ears on the side closest to Sevier go numb. He had never had such a reaction before. This crow was really going too far!

After answering, Seville bowed slightly to him and was now out of his sight. He couldn't even step on him hard.

Oh.

The ghost wanted to argue again, but Darien didn't listen to him. Regardless of whether the house belonged to the ghost in his lifetime or not, it was a fact that the ghost damaged his property, and he didn't know whether what he said was true or not.

Darien didn't believe his story. As soon as he arrived at the farmhouse, he pushed Leon into the well and tried to drown him. From this incident alone, it can be seen that he is not a simple good ghost.

Sewell quickly brought the parchment and ink, and considerately laid them out on the table.

Darien stepped viciously on Seville's instep, then walked away with his head held high like a proud cat.

The contract was very simple. Darien wrote down the damaged items and the amount of compensation required. The only thing left to do was to get the ghost to sign it.

"Sign it, and I'll turn you into a donkey." Darien shook the parchment and asked Sewell to take it to the ghost.

"No! I won't sign! I didn't do anything wrong!" The ghost screamed and held his head.

"You have." Darien walked over and sprinkled half a bottle of chili powder into the salt circle.

The formation that imprisons souls will make them stare blankly, and super spicy chili powder sprinkled on ghosts will make them feel hot and sneeze violently.

"Do I need to include chili powder in the account?" asked Sewell.

"Noted." Darien gave him an approving look.

In the end, the ghost signed the contract while sneezing.

"The house is finally peaceful," Mrs. Fitch breathed a sigh of relief. "I really hate this guy! Anyone who wastes food is not a good person."

"I agree with that. Mrs. Fitch, can you make Mrs. Carolla's basil pesto? I think it tastes delicious and would be great with noodles. We should also prepare a hearty lunch for our Pluto with lots of meat," said Darien.

Pluto was very happy. He wagged his tail wildly and stuck to Darien's trouser leg, barking in response to Darien.

"Good dog." Darien patted its head and its tail wagged even more happily.

"Brutal, come with me to the kitchen and I'll get you a sausage," Sewell said to Brutal.

Pluto was immediately drawn away from Darien and ran into the kitchen with his tail wagging and his furry butt puffing.

"Tsk." Darien looked at their backs and twitched the corners of his mouth.

Don't think that he doesn't know what he's thinking. He hasn't even accepted his confession yet, but he's already so jealous.

Sewell soon came out of the kitchen again, and Pluto was no longer at his feet. Pluto must have gotten his sausage.

"Go find me an empty bottle," Darien said, crossing his arms.

"Okay, master." Seville said and turned away.

"Wait a minute, come here first." Darien called him.

Sewell walked over and stood in front of him, so close that he had entered Darien's private area.

Darien found that his body was more familiar with Sewell's proximity than he was himself, and he didn't feel that such an offense was an invasion of his personal space.

"Dear master, what do you want me to do?" Seville asked with a smile.

"No, I just suddenly realized that you seem to be very close to me every time." Darien said.

"Because I'm deeply attracted to you." Sewell whispered.

"Where's my empty bottle?" Darien pushed him away, but his ears couldn't help but feel hot.

"Sorry, my dear master, I'll go now." Seville grabbed one of Darien's hands and kissed it before leaving.

This series of actions happened so fast that Darien didn't react. When he finally reacted, he got goosebumps all over his body. He thought it would be better for Seville to be more normal.

This made him feel a little nauseous now, just like the natural reaction of swallowing a whole bunch of greasy foie gras in one breath. Seville was really too greasy at this time.

Sewell came back quickly with an empty bottle in his hand. It was an empty wine bottle. The ghost must have poured all the wine on the ground when it was making trouble.

"I have to make a serious statement to you." Darien took the bottle and looked into Sewell's eyes. "I like your appearance, but your behavior isn't very nice. You were really too deliberate just now. I couldn't stand it."

"Are you talking about my words or my behavior? Which part makes you uncomfortable?" Sewell asked humbly.

"Both. Don't get so close to me next time, and don't attack me unexpectedly. Ask for my permission before kissing me, and don't act affectionate. It's not like you," said Darien.

"I understand. May I kiss you, dear master?" Sevier said, taking a step back.

"No." Darien quickly looked towards the kitchen and then back at the ghost.

The ghost immediately covered his mouth to show that he would not say anything nonsense.

"Okay, I understand." Sewell nodded. "I'll ask you again when we're alone."

The ghost opposite them tried to shrink itself into a ball, trying its best to reduce its presence.

Darien blushed, shook his head and quickly put Seville behind him. There were more important things to do now.

He pointed the mouth of the wine bottle at the ghost and recited a simple spell. The ghost's color became lighter and lighter, and when it was about to disappear, it was put into the bottle with a whoosh.

"Clean this place up. We don't need this salt anymore," Darien instructed Sewell. "After you're done, go get me some sage, black crystal powder, herring scales, and donkey hair... Come find me when you're ready."

Sewell responded and began to clean the area where the salt had been sprinkled.

Darien sat down in the small garden outside with the bottle in his hand, put the bottle on the table, his eyes became dazed and he began to stare blankly.

Last time, his mind was too confused and he didn't even bother to sort out the relationship between him and Seville. He just wanted to quickly forget and get rid of all the troubles that he couldn't solve.

It was the first time he was loved, and it was different from the feelings between friends. This kind of feeling made him feel panic and at a loss. He didn't think that Seville was annoying, but he hated the changes that had taken place between them.

The last kiss made him feel like being loved was a good feeling, but the potion took effect, and before he could completely sort out his thoughts, his feelings were deeply buried by the effect.

Did he like Sewell? Darien asked himself.

No, I don't hate it. Is that the answer?

No, more than that. He certainly didn't dislike Seville; he might even be a little fond of her. Who wouldn't like a caring assistant? Seville knew him well. Although he could sometimes annoy him, most of the time he was nice, though he would be deliberately picky.

So, does he love Seville?

Darien thought about it for a long time, but he couldn't come up with an answer. He didn't dare to give a definite answer, nor did he dare to admit it easily.

Sewell finished cleaning the house and found Darien in the garden with his materials.

"Is there anything else I need to do for the materials you requested?" Seville asked.

"Go find a thicker hemp rope to tie up the donkey later," said Darien.

"Good master," said Sewell.

"Wait a minute, why are you so far away from me?" Darien said.

"You asked me to stay away from you," said Sewell.

"Too far, stand closer." Darien frowned.

Sewell smiled.

They didn't say anything else. After Darien finished speaking, he lowered his head to fiddle with the materials. Sewell stood there for a while, then turned and left.

Turning a ghost into a donkey was a simple matter. Darien quickly arranged the materials into a formation. Seville also came back with the thickest hemp rope that looked like it could tie up a rhinoceros.

Darien turned the bottle upside down and chanted a simple spell. The ghost was poured out and just as it was about to escape, it was fixed by the formation. Its mouth and ears became longer, its limbs became deformed, and after being pulled several times, it finally fell to the ground and turned into a young and strong donkey.

Sewell went over and tied a hemp rope around the donkey, and tied the back end of the rope to a tree.

Darien looked at Sewell's back, waiting for him to finish.

When Sewell turned around, he met Darien's beautiful green eyes.

"Do you want to kiss me?"
