Xu Shuangyao's body trembled slightly. She clearly "heard" this strange vibration, or rather, it was her soul, the immense power of the planet's will within her, that resonated directly with it. It was a completely different frequency, completely different from the warm life-pulsing of the golden roots beneath her feet. It was colder, sharper, like the heartbeat of deep space itself, carrying an unmistakable sense of regularity.

Focusing her mind, the golden life energy slowly flowed through her palm, no longer a warm ball of light, but beginning to condense and compress, its edges taking on a hint of the unique, almost metallic, cold texture of Peidu energy.
However, this imitation was far from perfect. The planetary will within her instinctively rejected this overly cold order. Just as that chilling texture took shape, the golden energy ball in her palm trembled violently, and the life energy within it clashed violently with the imitation of the order!

Pei Du lowered his left hand. His molten-gold eyes held no rebuke, only a foreseen calm. He slowly rose, his figure, adorned with dark gold lines, casting a silent, heavy silhouette in the flowing golden light. He walked in front of Xu Shuangyao, a mere step between them. His icy sense of order became even more pronounced, like approaching an unmelting iceberg. Yet, strangely, this coldness didn't repel her, but rather brought a strange sense of reassurance.
He said nothing, but slowly extended his right hand, his palm covered with dark gold lines facing upwards, his five fingers slightly spread out.
Xu Shuangyao looked at his outstretched hand, then looked up to meet his molten gold gaze. There were no words in that gaze, but it conveyed a message clearer than words: trust, guidance, and shared responsibility.
She took a deep breath, suppressed the frustration in her heart, and her eyes became firm again. She also stretched out her white right hand, which was shrouded in a faint golden light. With a slight tremor like a newborn, she gently and firmly placed her palm on Pei Du's palm covered with dark gold lines.
