This place doesn't look like a clinic, but more like a crazy, cyberpunk nightmare... a human transformation workshop! Or... a waste recycling center?
Without a pause, the old dog carried Lin Mo straight to the hideous "operating table" in the center, placing him roughly on it as if he were a piece of merchandise in need of repair. The cold metal surface irritated Lin Mo's wound, causing him to let out a suppressed groan of pain.
"Don't... move..." The old dog's hoarse, dry voice with electromagnetic noise sounded again, with an unquestionable command tone.
Buzz!
The spider-like scanning array above the operating table instantly activated! Several beams of light of different colors (visible light, infrared, bio-field, and even weak energy detection waves) instantly enveloped Lin Mo like probes! The beams moved rapidly over him, scanning him with a subtle humming sound.
Simultaneously, several robotic arms on either side of the operating table began to move nimbly. One, equipped with a disinfectant spray nozzle, extended forward, spraying a cold, pungent disinfectant mist onto Lin Mo's most severe open wounds. Another robotic arm ejected several slender probes, ignoring Lin Mo's pain and precisely piercing his broken bones and several key blood vessels. A faint light flickered at the end of the probes, as if injecting some kind of analgesic or stabilizer, but the effect was minimal, and the excruciating pain continued to surge through Lin Mo's nerves like a tide.
"Ah!" Lin Mo couldn't help but cry out in pain, his body twitching slightly due to the severe pain.
The old dog stood beside the operating table, his crude mechanical prosthetic eye flashing red as he stared intently at a nearby dusty, yet remarkably clear, screen. On the screen, a cascade of complex data and a constantly evolving 3D model flashed by as the scanning beam moved.
Target: Humanoid carbon-based lifeform. Vital signs: Critical. Multiple fractures (left humerus, right ribs 3/4/5, right tibia and fibula...). A cold, inhuman diagnostic report scrolled across the screen. The red light in the old dog's mechanical prosthetic eye flickered rapidly, the lens expanding and contracting as if performing high-speed calculations.
"Repel... erode..." The old dog's hoarse voice carried a hint of solemnity that Lin Mo couldn't understand, "...troublesome...garbage..."
His bony fingers tapped rapidly on a grease-stained control panel next to the operating table.
Buzz!
In the scanning array, a more intense, lavender-colored bio-energy field scanning beam suddenly focused on Lin Mo's chest! The beam seemed to have some kind of penetrating power, and Lin Mo felt that the internal structure of his chest was forcibly "illuminated" by a cold force!
On the nearby screen, a magnified, extremely detailed 3D model of the chest cavity instantly appeared. Images of bones, blood vessels, and internal organs were clearly visible. However, the most horrifying thing was that near several broken ribs and on the walls of some major blood vessels between the heart and lungs, tiny crystals, resembling fragments of dark golden crystal, clung to the surface. These crystals emanated a faint yet distinct dark golden glow, like fragments of stars parasitic within flesh and blood! Their presence seemed to be slowly "freezing" and "crystallizing" the surrounding flesh and blood in an incomprehensible way, like a deadly frost spreading across blood vessels and bones!
"Hiss..." Even though Lin Mo had long been numbed by the excruciating pain, he couldn't help but gasp at the horrific scene within his body. A chill shot from the soles of his feet to the top of his head! Was this the "erosion of the law level"? The power of the Star Core not only failed to heal him, but was actually hastening his death? Like poison, it was crystallizing him from the inside?!
"Clearance... failed..." The old dog stared at the dark golden crystals, his hoarse voice carrying a rare, cold irritation. "...Insufficient strength... Forced removal... of the carrier... Instant... Death..."
The red light of his mechanical prosthetic eye was fixed on the faint light in Lin Mo's left eye. The red light flickered violently, as if it was undergoing intense internal calculations and struggles.
"...The only...way..." Old Dog's voice deepened, carrying a desperate determination. "...activate...it...guide...the cycle...and suppress...the erosion..."
Activate? Guide? Lin Mo didn't understand at all. Activate what? Guide what?
Before he could react, the old dog's skinny fingers suddenly pressed a conspicuous red button covered with a transparent protective cover on the control panel!
Snap! The protective shield pops open!

Throughout the underground clinic, the indicator lights on all the instruments instantly brightened! Lights flickered violently! A powerful wave of energy roared from an area deep within the clinic, isolated by a thick shielding door! Deep within the clinic, countless dark red energy lines on the thick shielding door instantly lit up, emitting a low humming sound, as if suppressing some violent presence behind the door!
