Lu Cheneng's body sprang up from the ground with inhuman, incredibly smooth, and swift speed. He didn't even glance at Wen Shifei. His eyes, radiating a faint blue light, like a precise scanner, instantly locked onto the core source of the crimson glow deep within the platform—an immense, translucent liquid metal container, like a biological womb, surrounded by countless thick cables and a shimmering server array! Within the container, the viscous silver-gray liquid metal slowly wriggled and undulated like a living thing, its surface constantly swelling and flattening. Forming the core of the countless crimson points of light was none other than the "Zero" matrix!
"Target confirmed... Matrix..." Lu Cheneng uttered a flat electronic synthesized voice, cold and indifferent. He ignored Wen Shifei at the edge of the platform and, like a programmed machine, took a step forward, heading straight for the giant liquid metal container! Was his goal to integrate? Or to carry out Zero's deeper instructions?
Wen Shifei leaned against the cold wall, gasping for breath in the absolute darkness. The sharp pain in her left shoulder, the dizziness and nausea brought on by the mental shock, and the despairing scene before her almost completely overwhelmed her.

A crazy and resolute plan instantly formed in her mind - destroy the Matrix! Destroy the entire core of Pandora! In the most thorough way!
Wen Shifei moved! Like a ghost blending into the darkness, she endured the excruciating pain in her left shoulder. Using the massive wreckage of equipment and twisted pipes on the platform as cover, she sped towards the nearest server array, gleaming with unstable energy, at top speed and in the most covert way possible. There, thick main power cables lay exposed, connecting several still-humming cooling pumps.
Lu Cheneng had already reached the base of the massive liquid metal container. He raised his head, his dark blue left eye fixed emotionlessly on the slowly swirling silver-gray liquid within. The crimson light within the container seemed to sense his approach, its glow growing brighter and more rapid. A massive tentacle-like structure, composed of viscous liquid metal, slowly detached from the container's "uterine wall." With a tentative, serpentine grace, it silently extended toward Lu Cheneng below! The tentacle's tip shone with a concentrated, high-energy crimson light!
Wen Shifei had already rushed behind the server array! She could even feel the intense heat radiating from the energy cables! Without hesitation, she pulled out the spare small plasma cutter at her leg! A faint blue, high-temperature plasma flame suddenly lit up in the darkness!
She gritted her teeth, ignored the liquid metal tentacles approaching Lu Chenentang, suppressed the crazy worry in her heart, and stabbed the scorching plasma flame blade fiercely at the exposed, thickest main energy cable!
“Sizzle—Boom!!!”
A dazzling flash of lightning erupted, accompanied by a deafening explosion! The severed power cables lashed wildly like a dying python, spewing out a cascade of sparks! The cooling pump, its power supply forcibly cut off, let out a series of dull explosions, and several coolant pipes connected to the mother vessel instantly ruptured! Dark green, pungent coolant gushed out like a high-pressure water gun!
The entire platform shook violently! Lights (those still working) flickered wildly! Alarms from the server arrays blared!
This sudden, massive destruction and energy fluctuations instantly disrupted the stability of the entire core area! The liquid metal tentacle that was about to come into contact with "Lu Chen Entropy" suddenly froze, and a scarlet light flashed violently! The viscous silver-gray liquid in the container surged wildly as if enraged!
The chip-controlled "Lu Chen Entropy" was also affected by the violent vibration and energy interference, and its movements were extremely delayed for a very short time! His cold blue electronic eyes seemed to be momentarily attracted by the chaos!

With air-tearing screams, like a raging python, they fiercely lashed out from different directions at the sprinting Wen Shifei, piercing and slashing! Deadly crimson energy beams condensed at the tentacles' tips!
Wen Shifei displayed astonishing fighting instincts as she ran! Like a petrel darting through a storm, her body twisted, tumbled, and swerved at incredible angles! A liquid metal tentacle, with a shrieking sound that tore through the air, lashed out at the spot where she had been a second ago, leaving a charred dent in the thick metal platform! Another tentacle brushed past her back, and a searing energy beam instantly carbonized her tactical suit! She could feel the burning pain on her skin!
