Chapter 150: Extra Chapter 4: Son of the Star Core

Dr. Owen's bloodshot eyes stared fixedly at the roiling core of the nebula, their turbid, old eyes nearly popping out of their sockets. The energy readout nearby pulsed with incomprehensible spikes, emitting a sharp alarm. Just then, a pulse of indescribably pure and vast silver-white energy, like a supernova explosion, flashed from the core, instantly breaking through the upper thresholds of all detectors! Then, like an avalanche, the readings representing the dark purple contamination plummeted to zero!

what happened?!

What's that silvery light?!

Lin Mo and Shuang Yao...how are they doing?!

What about that weak yet tenacious life signal I just sensed? !

Huge questions and even deeper fears, like cold vines, entangled the hearts of every survivor. No one spoke, and the heavy breathing was clearly audible in the deadly silent cabin.

"Doctor! High-energy reaction area... the spatial structure is experiencing unusual distortions!" A monitor's voice trembled with disbelief as he pointed at a red, madly flashing area on the main screen. "The readings... the readings are unreadable! It's like... like some kind of... dimensional bubble?!"

Owen's heart suddenly sank! He rushed to the observation window, his hands covered with age spots tightly grasping the cold metal window frame. His cloudy eyes pierced through the cracked reinforced glass and cast a fixed gaze on the deepest part of the destructive nebula!

In the core of the violently boiling nebula, behind the death curtain of scorching lava flows and silver-white energy embers... an extremely faint, yet unusually stable light was struggling to penetrate layers of obstacles and reflected in his almost desperate eyes!

Not a bit!

It’s two o’clock!

A touch of warm and restrained dark gold is like an ancient lighthouse protecting ships in the wind and waves.

A bit of clear and tranquil ice blue, like a polar star that never goes out.

The two points of light depended on each other tightly, like the loneliest and most steadfast twin stars in the universe, jointly supporting an extremely tiny but incredibly tenacious spherical energy bubble!

And in the center of that energy bubble, within the interwoven embrace of dark gold and icy blue light...

A soft, milky white halo exuding the pure breath of life, like a newborn flower bud, sleeping peacefully!

"What...what is that?!" Owen's voice was dry and hoarse, trembling almost in a dream. His bloodshot eyes stared at the milky white spot, his mind blank.
