The synthesized sound of metallic friction, without any emotion, resounded throughout the ruined square, piercing through the desperate cries of the survivors and crushing all remaining hope.

A piercing annihilation sound exploded! Where the dark gold claws collided with the dark purple chain, a dazzling arc of light erupted! The chain's surface was burned black, and it emitted a hissing sound like a wounded creature! "Doctor! Dawn's core energy readings have broken critical point! The dark purple energy is frantically draining the planet's core energy! Estimated... estimated to reach the detonation threshold in three minutes!" The monitor screamed with tears in his eyes. The dark purple light representing Dawn's core on the screen was like a malignant tumor, greedily devouring the planet's vitality, and its volume expanded wildly! The earthquakes throughout Dawn Harbor became more intense. Huge cracks spread across the city like the mouth of an abyss, devouring buildings and lives.
Time! There is no time!
"Analyze… analyze the structure of the 'gate'! The energy source! Any… any weakness!" Owen roared, his bloodshot eyes fixed on the screen scanning the massive gate swirling with purple chaos. Countless dizzyingly complex energy circuits and spatial folds whirled across the screen.
Just when Lin Mo's consciousness was about to be completely swallowed by the pollution and the scarlet in his right eye was about to completely dominate -

Deep within the core of the seething, chaotic dark-gold light in his left eye, a faint, yet strangely stable, silver-white light suddenly lit up, like a star piercing the mists of eternal night!
