As the person walked over, Zi Yuan got up and led Ye Yunniang to the next room.

A thick carpet was laid on the floor.

After playing for a while, someone called Zi Yuan away, leaving Ye Yunniang to play with Jiang Tingjun alone.

He stepped forward and slapped Ye Yunniang twice across the face.
"You bitch, how dare you hurt my daughter."
"Third Sister-in-law, you're so impressive." Madam Jiang arrived a step too late and, seeing the red, swollen handprint on Ye Yunniang's face, her expression turned ugly. This was a slap in the face to their fourth branch of the family.
"Fourth sister-in-law, your servant beat my daughter. Is that all you're showing off?"
"There was no fight. It was the young lady who tried to snatch the young master's exquisite pagoda," Ye Yunniang quickly explained.
"Dare to talk back!" Madam Jiang was about to hit her again.
Madam Jiang grabbed her hand.
Jiang Tingjun realized what was happening and burst into tears.
"Alright, stop fooling around," Madam Jiang called out to the two of them. "Don't forget, Mother told us to come here for a purpose. Don't spoil the fun."
Jiang San and his fourth wife glared at each other and let go of each other's hands, knowing in their hearts that this matter was not over.
Ye Yunniang coaxed Jiang Tingjun and went back to Fanghua Courtyard with Ziyuan.
When Madam Jiang returned, the first thing she did was look at Jiang Tingjun and ask Ye Yunniang about what had happened that day.
Ye Yunniang covered her face with a handkerchief and told her everything she knew. She had only thought of protecting Jiang Tingjun and hadn't expected the Fifth Miss to fall.
Ye Yunniang also knew that the girl today was Jiang Fangrui, the only daughter of the third branch of the family.

Ye Yunniang woke up leaning against the bed, touching her face; it didn't hurt as much anymore.
Chunyao arrived early and examined Ye Yunniang's face, saying, "The Third Madam was too ruthless."
"Sister Chunyao, what brings you here?"
"Madam asked me to come and relieve you for two days. Go back and take good care of yourself."
"Madam is so considerate. Thank you for your hard work, Sister Chunyao."
"Go back quickly."
Ye Yunniang nodded and obediently returned to Zhiyuxuan to lie down and rest.
When she woke up, Pear was by her side. "Sister, you're finally awake."
"Me." Only when she spoke did Ye Yunniang realize that her voice was hoarse.
"Sister, you have a fever." Li'er helped Ye Yunniang sit up, poured her some water, and brought her medicine.
