"How could we possibly ask about our master's affairs?" Chef Jin didn't know either.
"I really misjudged her. Yunniang is more capable than I thought." Chunyao looked at Ye Yunniang with newfound respect.
"You mustn't give Madam a hard time." Chef Jin was worried that Chunyao would be unhappy with Ye Yunniang's concealment and would get angry with her.
"Am I that kind of person?" Chunyao asked sternly.
"Of course not. My wife is the most understanding and reasonable person."
"Stop talking nonsense." Chunyao snorted.
"My lady, how did you guess?" Chef Jin asked curiously.
“Ping,” Chunyao paused, “the young master is seven parts like Yunniang, but his eyes look like the second master’s at first glance.”
At first, Chunyao thought she was overthinking it. But when she saw Grandpa Jiang today, Ye Yunniang immediately blocked Li Ping. Chunyao's suspicions grew.
Back in Sunset Lane, Chunyao specially invited Ye Yunniang and Li Ping to her home for a visit. Her main purpose was to see how Chef Jin would perform.
Sure enough, Chef Jin's evasiveness towards Ye Yunniang and her unintentional caution towards Li Ping made her realize that her guess was correct.
"My wife is truly amazing," Chef Jin praised.
"Stop flattering me. I'm asking you, what are Second Master's plans?" Chunyao wanted to know Jiang Mingzhe's thoughts on Ye Yunniang and her son.
"Our master's thoughts are beyond our comprehension."
Chunyao was not satisfied with this answer, and then, as if thinking of something, she asked, "Do you know who Li An is?"
Chef Jin didn't hide anything: "Ang Lee is the Sixth Young Master."
"It really is the Sixth Young Master! What happened to the Fourth Master and Fourth Madam?"
Chef Jin shared what he knew.
"Secondly, Zhuang Meixue and Jiang Mingrui are too cruel. Fourth Madam is too pitiful." After hearing this, Chunyao called out the two of their names.
"The Second Master won't let those two get away with it. We just need to take good care of Madam and the young master, and don't ask about anything else," Chef Jin instructed.
"I know without you telling me," Chunyao rolled her eyes at Chef Jin.
