He immediately bent down, grabbed her shoulders, and looked her in the eye. "Don't cry," he said. "I'm not angry anymore, so don't cry."
"I didn't want to cry either, but I couldn't help it, sob sob sob..." Hearing Ning Yizhan's words, she couldn't hold back anymore, covered her face and squatted on the ground.
Ning Yizhan followed her movements and squatted down. He was surprised by Qiu Hu's unprecedented behavior and tilted his head to look at her, saying, "You can cry like this now?"
"Well, I'm quite capable, that really surprised me, Qiu Hu."
Qiu Hu was still crying. She felt ashamed and wouldn't pay any attention to him. Seeing that she didn't answer, Ning Yizhan continued to mutter to himself, "Don't cry, I don't disbelieve you."

Seeing that she was still covering her face, Ning Yizhan knew that she was "too embarrassed to face anyone," so he stood up and pulled her up, saying, "Come on, let me help you wash your face."
Qiu Hu let him lead her to the bathroom, and she quickly turned on the tap and washed her face with the water in her hands.
After washing her face, Qiu Hu said listlessly to him, "I'm still very sleepy, I want to sleep a little longer."

Qiu Hu walked to the bedside, took off the shoes she had just put on, and looked at the floor she had just stepped on. The floor wasn't dirty, but she was a germaphobe and wasn't used to it. She looked up at the man standing by the bed for help, "I dirtied the floor."
Ning Yizhan knew without guessing that she was having a cleanliness lapse. "It's okay, I'll mop it clean later."
"Okay, I'm going to sleep now." After saying that, she climbed into bed and closed her eyes.
Seeing that she was quite quick, Ning Yizhan decided not to bother her any longer. As he prepared to leave the room, he suddenly realized that the incident of being used as a tool for venting his anger was just going to pass by like that? That didn't make sense.
But then he thought about it and decided that she was his woman and he shouldn't be so petty. He simply walked over, put his arm around her shoulder, and said, "You can't treat me like that next time, understand? Otherwise, you'll have to bear the consequences."
Upon hearing this, Qiu Hu opened her eyes and looked at him. "Okay, I understand!"
Seeing that she had agreed, Ning Yizhan left with a sense of relief and picked up a mop to mop the floor for the young lady.
Qiu Hu slept for a long time, until nine o'clock in the evening. Ning Yizhan went in to check on her several times, and even thought she had fainted. It wasn't until nine o'clock that Ning Yizhan couldn't stand it anymore, so he made dinner and went to wake her up. Only then did she get up.
Ning Yizhan quietly entered the room, which was pitch black. He turned on the bedside lamp and looked at Qiu Hu, who was sleeping soundly and obediently. His heart softened, and he gently kissed her forehead before softly calling her name, "Ah Hu, wake up, have some food before you go back to sleep."
Qiu Hu slowly woke up. The room was still dimly lit, illuminating Ning Yizhan's face in half, one side clearly visible and the other half too dark to see clearly. But she was still amazed by his features and asked him with a smile, "What time is it?"
"It's nine o'clock. You've been sleeping for a long time today." Ning Yizhan was also puzzled. Qiu Hu had always had good stamina, so how could he rest for so long? Maybe he was just too physically fit? "Ah Hu, is your stamina really that bad?"
