Chapter 567

At this moment, the archers on the rooftops moved out one by one, nocking their arrows and aiming at the moving target. However, the rain of arrows could only pierce the tail of the aurora, failing to hit Felsa himself.

Gerlu moved forward in a zigzag pattern, dodging arrows as she went, but her speed gradually fell behind her companions. So she decided to get away from Felsa and jump onto the roof to start clearing out the archers.

Felsa slashed through obstacles in his path, whether people or objects, and continued to advance. Meanwhile, Jelu, on the rooftop, cut down enemies while dodging arrows around her, all the while keeping close behind her companions.

They ran straight ahead and had reached the northernmost part of the town, where the exit was in sight.

The besieging adventurers had mostly fallen, and the few remaining threw down their weapons and fled.

Philsa slowed his pace, noticing a new magical aura blocking the town's exit. His magical senses told him the source was a young girl, wielding a unique crystal-bladed spear.

"Why are you all so useless? I'll do it myself!"

Philsa ignored the girl's angry shouts, but the girl's demonic aura was somewhat familiar to him; he couldn't recall smelling it somewhere long ago.

If it were the old Firza, he would have first considered who the enemy was.

However, at this moment he was only concerned with defeating his enemy and had no other thoughts. He attacked with his twin swords flying.

Kaelin set up his bow in a distant corner, ready to ambush the enemy or cover Freya. He couldn't stop her from taking action herself, so he could only provide cover from the shadows.

Facing the Ice Queen Felsa, the girl showed no fear, raising her short spear with both hands. The blade gleamed purple in the night, a sign that her magic had been activated.

A flash of purple light blocked the incoming aurora. The clash between the two demonic energies caused fluctuations in magical power.

After defeating the last adventurer, Jelu jumped off the roof, ready to fight alongside her companions, only to discover that the aurora was colliding with another magical light.

Freya held her amethyst blade horizontally, barely managing to block Philsa's twin swords. During the standoff, she stared at her opponent, her angry gaze turning into surprise.

What happened to your eyes?

Philsa didn't answer, but exerted even more force. Then Freya pushed him away forcefully, took a few steps back, and assessed the situation before attacking again.

It was only upon meeting him today that it was finally confirmed that the rumors were true; Felsa of Extreme Ice had indeed lost his eyes. However, she was also amazed by his martial arts skills, which were so formidable without relying on his sight, even capable of overwhelming a group of heroes.

"It's been so many years, and you've grown even stronger," Freya thought to herself. But that was perfect; she could use this opportunity to test her skills against him.

Philsa slid back two steps before leaping forward, launching another fierce attack with his twin ice swords, which moved like wings in a wild dance, his momentum like an eagle trying to devour its prey.

Seeing this, Kelin quickly fired several arrows in succession, aiming at Philsa.

Unexpectedly, Jielu rushed forward and swung her knife, cutting down all the attacking arrows.

Freya and Philsa continued their standoff. She decided to stop him first before asking what was going on. In order to slow down his attack, she changed her magic.

The crystal spear's blade instantly transformed from purple light to a chilling red light. At the same time, Philsa sensed the fierce attack of the opponent's demonic energy and guessed that she was about to launch a fierce attack.

The crimson blade slicing through the darkness, piercing straight for Philsa's abdomen with lightning speed. The twin swords clashed with the spear blade once more, far more fiercely than before.

At this moment, Jelu followed the direction from which the arrow had been shot and discovered Kelin lying in ambush. She drew her sword and approached, and Kelin also drew his sword to fight back.

Another fierce battle broke out here, but Jelu had the upper hand in close combat, and the situation of attacking and defending at the same time was very obvious.

Forced against the wall, Kelin had no choice but to run along the wall and circle around to a distance behind Freya.

Jelu followed closely, but upon catching sight of Freya engaged in fierce combat, she stopped what she was doing.

Even with all her magic focused on attacking, Freya couldn't break the rhythm of her opponent's twin swords and gradually found herself at a disadvantage. Seeing her in danger, Kaelin raised the crossbow he was holding and aimed it at Philsa's head.

Freya retreated a few steps to rest, but then suddenly realized Kelling's intention and immediately stopped him.

"Stop!" She only wanted Philsa to stop; she didn't want to kill him.

"Stop!" Jelu shouted in unison, having clearly seen the owner of the crystal spear in the darkness, and stopped her companions.

At this moment, Philsa was also forced to kneel down and catch his breath due to excessive consumption of magic power, and stopped fighting.

Freya stared at the girl whose face was covered by a hoodie, and wondered why the voice sounded so familiar. So she temporarily gave up using her magic energy, and the crystal spear, along with its owner, reverted to its purple light after she stopped attacking.

In the darkness, Jelu flipped up her hat, her golden hair fluttering in the wind. She gazed at Freya with a mixture of excitement and amusement.

Old friends recognize each other.

A moment of silence followed, and all four of them stopped fighting.

Freya? Is it really you?

"Jielu!"
