I was puzzled, "Why is this coffin floating in the air?"
“What’s so strange about that? The immortal coffin is no ordinary object. How could it be placed on the ground? Haven’t you heard that gods are only buried in the heavens?” Uncle Liu from Hunan rubbed his hands together, his eyes gleaming.
“You’re wrong, look down there,” the black cat said, pointing to the ground.
We then discovered that there was a large pit in the ground, filled with black stones, just like coal.
"This is?"
I suddenly realized that these must be meteorites. I immediately understood why the bronze coffin could float in the air. It was because this was a meteorite crater. Due to the influence of the meteorites, there was no gravity here, and anything placed inside would float.
"Hey, who cares about all that? Let's go in, open the bronze coffin, and see if it's real or fake!" Li Tianlong said.
Before we could even react, the two brothers had already gone inside. Their bodies immediately began to float up, but they couldn't maintain their balance at all and were spinning around in the air.
It was Uncle Liu from Hunan who came up with a solution: we pulled each other along and went inside.
Suddenly we all floated up, it felt like we had grown wings and were flying, it was so blissful!
It took us more than ten minutes to gradually regain our balance and approach the bronze coffin. We then surrounded it, all of us looking excited, and you could hear our own heartbeats.
"Let's begin," Uncle Liu from Hunan said, and we all lifted the coffin lid and moved it with force.
But the coffin lid was incredibly heavy; so many of us couldn't move it, it seemed to be a single piece.
We tried lifting it several times, but it still wouldn't budge. We started to panic. Could it really be a single piece, or was the coffin lid fixed to it?
“Don’t waste your energy. This coffin is decorated with Yin-Yang Bagua. Only by deciphering Yin-Yang Bagua can it be opened,” Xiang Fei said.
Everyone understood. I looked up and sure enough, a Yin-Yang Bagua formation was set up on the coffin lid. This was not a simple Yin-Yang Bagua formation, but the Yin-Yang Bagua first created by the ancient Taoist sect. It was the most profound and mysterious formation, and the Yin-Yang techniques of the I Ching in later generations evolved from it.
Such a formation might be able to be broken by a Yin-Yang Master, but for us people here, it's completely beyond our comprehension.
Returning Home at Eighty-Four
Uncle Liu from Hunan said, "Not necessarily. Among us, there happens to be a successor of Yin-Yang and Bagua. If we work together, we might be able to solve it."
I know what he means. Here, Xiang Fei, himself, and I are the inheritors of Yin-Yang, the old blind man is of course the inheritor of Bagua, the black cat goes without saying, as for the Li Tianlong brothers, I heard from Uncle Liu from Hunan that they are the inheritors of the Tomb Raiders or the Mountain Movers, which are all schools of thought that originated in later generations, at most they can be considered a branch of Yin-Yang Feng Shui.
What do you guys think?
Xiang Fei, the old blind man, and I looked at each other and said, "Alright, let's cooperate like this."
Looking at the Yin-Yang Bagua on the coffin lid, I suddenly felt that it looked familiar. After thinking about it carefully, I remembered that I had seen it on the ancestral Yin-Yang plate. The two diagrams were exactly the same. I was secretly shocked. The Yin-Yang plate seemed to have a great origin, made by the Yin-Yang master of my ancestors. Now it seems that it is very likely a Taoist artifact. Perhaps my Liu family ancestors were Taoists.
The four of us stood together and began to decipher the Yin-Yang Eight Trigrams. Upon closer inspection, we saw that they were engraved with flowers, birds, rain, insects, and all things in the universe. This seemed to be the Taoist concept of merging with the universe. The Eight Trigrams were mysterious characters used to deduce the mysteries of the universe and observe the game of the universe. Later generations only passed down the theory of the Eight Trigrams of the I Ching.
The old blind man exclaimed in amazement, “This is the most complete Yin-Yang Eight Trigrams of Taoism. It has long been lost in reality. I thought it was just a legend, but now it seems that there was indeed a mythical era. It is very likely that those Chinese myths and legends really existed.”
"Then today I will do my best to deduce the Eight Trigrams and see if I can uncover the mystery of ancient myths and time."
The four of us set out: Xiang Fei and Uncle Liu from Hunan were in charge of Yin and Yang, I was in charge of Feng Shui, and the old blind man was in charge of Bagua.
Before this, we each bowed to the bronze coffin. Now it seems very likely that a Taoist master is buried inside, who can be considered our ancestor. Opening the ancestor's coffin now would be disrespectful no matter how you look at it.
"Master, I, your disciple, have offended you in order to bring the Yin-Yang Eight Trigrams back to its former glory. Please forgive me," the old blind man said emphatically.
We began by using the Yin-Yang method to find the origin of the path. Then the old blind man started his deductions. In the blink of an eye, an hour had passed, and we had gained nothing. The Yin-Yang and Eight Trigrams above were too profound and complex, and the several results he derived were all incorrect.
Our expressions turned serious. Time was running out; if that blood corpse came out soon, we'd be in big trouble.
Everyone was deep in thought when suddenly I seemed to have an idea and said, "This Yin-Yang Bagua diagram is about the universe and all things, the natural way, which is Qian and Kun. Why don't we start with Qian and Kun and perhaps we can uncover its mysteries?"
Hearing me say this, the others suddenly realized, "That's right, this is about all things in nature. The original meaning of the Dao is the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth, which is also said to be about contending with Heaven," Uncle Liu from Hunan said in a low voice.
Next, we'll start with Qian and Kun (Heaven and Earth) and begin to calculate and evolve.
A moment later, as we found and connected several characters in the picture, the bronze coffin made a crisp sound, and the lid cracked open. Our hearts tightened immediately; it could be opened.
