1. The day after he came into contact with the "sacrifice" incident, at 6:30, Lin Yue had not gotten up this early in a long time. He wanted to ask his "homeroom teacher" Teacher Xie for leave, but instead, he was dragged out of bed by him.
However, the delicious breakfast that followed instantly woke him up.
A sandwich with more layers than those sold in stores, a glass of authentic, rich, sweet milk, and a few ripe cherry tomatoes brimming with Vitamin A.
Of course, Uncle Bin has always been in charge of the poetry club's meals, which has honed his culinary skills and earned him high praise from his companions.
When it's time to cook, the kitchen is his battlefield. Shanshan is a night owl and couldn't possibly get up this early, so Uncle Bin left her a breakfast.
Lin Yue enjoyed his breakfast, which helped him calm down from his earlier morning grumpiness.
Uncle Bin finished his work and sat down. He said to Lin Yue, "I think the students in Class C had ill intentions towards you yesterday. Should we bring some weapons for self-defense today?"
Uncle Bin couldn't possibly appear outside the classroom all the time, and the class's behavior was more chaotic than ever before, so he told Lin Yue to be on guard.
While munching on his sandwich, Lin Yue mumbled a reply: "It's okay. Yesterday I discovered that this school is actually quite international; they even have a kendo club, and I joined it. I'll go get my bamboo sword later, and then head to the classroom."
While the two were talking, Sang Huanxin had already put on her shirt and shoes and came out of the bedroom. Doing what needs to be done first, then enjoying breakfast, was her usual way of doing things.
Having overheard part of Lin Yue's conversation with Uncle Bin, she casually asked Lin Yue, "Without unleashing your magic, can you defeat others?"
"Although it lacks the speed and strength one would expect, it's more than enough to deal with ordinary people." What's more, these are just some greenhorn high school students.
Lin Yue popped the last cherry tomato into his mouth and finished the rest of his milk. "Uncle Bin, so what's my task today?"
"You can keep chasing girls." Uncle Bin finished his breakfast and said as he tidied up his plate and cutlery.
"Damn it..."
"Hehe. Seriously though, Shanshan should have told you yesterday that there's a demonic aura lurking in Class C, which might be related to the case. It'll probably make a move soon, and you need to find this person as soon as possible."
"You should live up to the title of 'Detective Demon,' not just 'Queen of Women.'" Sang Huanxin added while eating, then chuckled to himself.
"Holy crap." Lin Yue thought to himself, thank goodness Shan Shan wasn't there and didn't hear him say that.
Otherwise, her next assassination target would definitely be herself.
He ignored the teasing and continued the topic: "Speaking of unusual things, Sister Sang, have you noticed that slope in the school? The one with pine trees on both sides."
"What's wrong?"
"I can't quite put my finger on it, but we should still keep a close eye on it; it's unusual. Uncle Bin is too."
"Okay," they both replied in unison.
"Damn, it's 6:50 already. I'm off." Lin Yue washed his face, picked up his backpack, and went out the door.
There are only ten minutes left before morning reading class. Fortunately, the classroom is not far from the teachers' dormitory.

2. When they reached the third floor, Lin Yue happened to be following behind Lan Xi, who had just arrived. He decided not to greet her yet, even though he wasn't exactly a stalker.
However, he then stopped, wondering if he was being too concerned about the girl.
When he came to his senses, he realized that he had forgotten to go to the club to retrieve the main sword!
With only a few minutes left, he immediately ran downstairs.
When Lan Xi entered the classroom, she heard boys teasing her and whistling at her. As usual, she ignored them, silently sat down, and took out her book.
Today is Friday, so it's time to study Chinese.
However, she still subconsciously glanced at Lin Yue's seat; he didn't seem to have arrived yet.
The group of male classmates were a little annoyed by her indifference. The little tyrant among them kicked the table leg hard, and Lan Xi stared at him, feeling both ashamed and angry.
This morning during Chinese class, the teacher, an old man, lacked the courage to manage this struggling class. So he helplessly turned a blind eye and didn't even come to supervise the morning reading session today.
The students also regarded this easy-to-bully old man as something even smaller than air.
Therefore, Chinese language classes, or Chinese language morning reading classes, are basically playtime classes, card playing classes, or sleep classes.
There was less commotion today, but the particularly mischievous ones were still causing trouble as usual.
"Hey kid, you just transferred here yesterday, are you my boyfriend? You're so protective of me."
"Yeah, yeah, they even walk home together after school..." "This ugly girl actually has someone who likes her?" A few talkative girls nearby chattered on.
It's okay to bully yourself, but don't drag others into it!
Thinking this, Lan Xi retorted, "Don't talk nonsense!"
"Yesterday's hero saving the damsel in distress sounds like something out of a novel!" Little Tyrant Huang Yi grinned as he approached Lan Xi. "He's not here right now, let's see if he can make it to your rescue." As he spoke, he reached for Lan Xi's collar.
She didn't know how to fight back; she was surrounded by malicious villains. She silently clenched the blue cherry blossom petals in her palm until the petals melted from her body heat.
"Stop!" Lin Yue, carrying the bamboo knife he had just retrieved, arrived just as the school bell rang.
"Hey!" Huang Yi said confidently, "Why is it you again?" He wasn't afraid of Lin Yue's bamboo knife. He believed that he was ambushed yesterday, which was why he lost.
The girls around him who were cheering were also unhappy and cursed Lin Yue in a shrill voice, "Why are you meddling in other people's business?"
