"I'm sorry, I can only drop you off at your door. Something suddenly comes up, and I need to go back to find Teacher Xie." Lin Yue noticed the strange expression on Lan Xi's face and immediately let go of her hand.
"This..." Lan Xi hesitated, blushing as she said, "What you just said was so scary, I'm a little scared to go home alone..."
"I...it's my fault. Okay..." Lin Yue thought for a moment and took something out of his pocket.
A few seconds later, he reached into his pocket with his fist, seemingly holding something inside. "Here you go, it's a talisman. With this, you won't be afraid."
Lan Xi noticed a light blue cherry blossom petal lying in Lin Yue's right palm.
She took it, and the instant she touched the cherry blossom petals, a refreshing chill entered her heart.
"These cherry blossom petals look like they were sculpted from ice, they're so beautiful! Will they melt?"
"Whether it melts or not, it means that the petal sacrificed itself to protect you from misfortune."
So the two parted ways at the school gate and went their separate ways.

3. Uncle Bin was the last to return to the temporary residence of the "Dawn Poetry Society".
He returned from buying groceries, walking in the darkness, sensing the unusual atmosphere that had suddenly emerged in the school, and cautiously made his way back.
The so-called temporary accommodation is a teacher apartment dormitory in the school divided into four single rooms. The rooms are equipped with computer network cables, and the beds look quite comfortable.
The kitchen was very clean, and the living room was big enough to seat four people, with a large sofa on the east side.
The dormitory also has a small balcony that faces several teaching buildings, making it very convenient to keep an eye on things.
Uncle Bin returned with the groceries and found that Shanshan had already gone back to her room. Sang Huanxin sat at the table, staring at Lin Yue, who was half-reclining on the sofa, his face covered by his hat and his eyes closed, seemingly resting. Sang appeared to be asking Lin Yue something, but the latter didn't seem to react.
"Young man Lin Yue, you'd better explain what happened during lunch break today," Uncle Bin asked Lin Yue.
Lin Yue could smell Uncle Bin's serious aura even through the hat, so he had no choice but to remove the hat and mumble, "It's just as you see it, nothing."
"I heard you were quite impulsive today." Sang was a little worried about this, fearing that Lin Yue might reveal his secret identity as the Demon Detective, as well as the existence of the Dawn Poetry Society.
Outsiders might not care about this, but those who know Lin Yue well—Uncle Bin, Sister Sang, and Shan Shan—know that he usually doesn't meddle in other people's business and rarely does anything so impulsive.
“You pulled out your ‘Blue Cherry’? What will happen if the students see it?” Sang rebuked him.
"Don't worry, I just pulled the knife handle out and then knocked him unconscious with it."
Sang Huanxin was still worried: "But with so many students at the time, if..."
"Those bastards were all watching the bullied female student; not one of them noticed."
Sang still couldn't understand why he would be so reckless, and looked at him with a suspicious gaze, which he deliberately avoided.
"Alright, alright..." Uncle Bin smoothed things over, "Actually, if Lin Yue didn't unleash his magic, he wouldn't be any different from an ordinary student. I guess he had no choice at the time."
He explained things to Lin Yue, and Sang breathed a sigh of relief after hearing it.
Uncle Bin turned to Lin Yue and said, "Don't be so impulsive in the future. Remember, I'm the homeroom teacher of that class now. If you need anything, you can come to me, just like a student in trouble asks their teacher for help!"
Upon hearing this, Lin Yue went from being expressionless to bursting into laughter: "Damn it, old monster, you're making it sound like the truth."
