Sister Bai herself didn't know how many meters she had walked. The passage became wider and wider, but also steeper. Sister Bai could only descend little by little with the help of tools. A corpse was sitting in front of Sister Bai. The corpse's eye was wide open, but there was only one eye. The other eye had probably been gouged out, because the head tissue from the corner of the eye to the back of the head was completely torn apart.
But his fatal wound was on his neck, which was covered in blood and gore. However, his expression showed that he had experienced great shock before he died!
Chapter 90 Red-Eyed Bat!
Sister Bai walked up to the corpse and wiped its eyes, closing them. However, Sister Bai could not sense any trace of its soul.

But just then, a sobbing sound suddenly came from the other end of the cave!
"Waaaaah... Waaaah...!"
The sound was like a baby crying in the dead of night. Sister Bai originally thought it was the sound of wind blowing in after the cave entrance was opened.
But to his surprise, those cries grew closer and closer. In the end, they no longer sounded like a child's crying, but rather like the cries of a whole group!
Finally, Sister Bai began to look directly ahead, shining her searchlight. But what sent a chill down his spine was the sight of countless red eyes right in front of him!
But those weren't human eyes; each eye was only the size of a marble, and they all gleamed with a bloodthirsty red light!
Sister Bai dared not be careless. Holding the purple-gold sword in her hand, she continued to walk forward at a leisurely pace. But she had only taken a step or two when the red eyes arrived.
Only now did Sister Bai realize that they were enormous bats! Each bat was about the size of a human hand, but its two fangs were stark white.
"Waaah...!"
With a whoosh, the bats swarmed towards Sister Bai. Sister Bai slashed with her sword, and several bats fell to the ground. However, pure attack was ineffective against several, or even more than a hundred, bats!
Bai Jie immediately lay down on the ground, quickly took out a talisman, and lit it. As soon as the flames appeared, the bats seemed to have encountered their nemesis, but their cries grew louder and louder.
This sent a chill down Bai Jie's spine; there was another group among them. The bats' cries had undoubtedly alerted them, which was not a good thing for Bai Jie.
Soaking a swarm of bats in brine was pointless; Sister Bai waved the burning talisman in her hand in the air. With her feet braced against the tunnel wall, she used the force to slide towards the cave entrance.
The passageway was sloping, and the further down Bai Jie went, the faster her body slid. But without the aid of light, it wasn't long before Bai Jie felt her body lifting off the ground—she had reached the bottom!
He immediately swung his purple-gold sword, and an invisible force helped him stabilize himself at the last moment before he fell to the ground.
The sound of the bats seemed to vanish into thin air, and they didn't pursue them again. After confirming with a glance, Sister Bai stood up. But as soon as she stood up, she caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of her eye, and Sister Bai turned around abruptly, only to be stunned by what she saw.
